    Thanks so much. When my mom passed away she left about 50 pair of jeans...all different shades of blue. I donated several pair to Goodwill and just couldn't part with them all. As they are too big for me this is a perfect way for me to keep them....and honor her!

      Oh I love that!!!! My dad passed away last year and I made a quilt out of his handkerchiefs. Your quilt will be a treasure! Thanks for your comment and for watching.

    I have wanted to make a denim quilt for a while. Thanks for the tip for making triangles. I am still on the square or rectangle level😂

    Claudia did you just quilt your denim quilt diagonally and how far apart. Thanks

    • @CreatewithClaudia
      @CreatewithClaudia  Рік тому

      Hi - I did quilt on the diagonal and about 4" apart. I will say it is bulky and I recommend using a heavy duty needle and thread. I do love it, especially in the winter months. Thanks for watching!

    How many pairs of denim jeans (roughly) did you need?

    • @CreatewithClaudia
      @CreatewithClaudia  3 роки тому +1

      Couple things to consider, size of the jeans (mine are larger so I can get more fabric) and because of the larger cuts of blocks, there is a fair amount of the jeans left over. Also, I wanted to get a big variety of colors of jeans so I used different pairs because of that...That being said, VERY roughly about 8 - 9 pairs. Thanks for watching. I hope you give the pattern a try.

      Mine are larger as well! I have 4 pairs cut and 4 more to go! I'm excited to try this pattern. I have a new sewing machine arriving today and it definitely has it's work cut out for it!
