    Annette was such a lovely person. So sad she had to suffer from that terrible disease. May she rest in peace and always be remembered fondly .

    I had an older cousin who looked a good deal like Annette who was also born in 1942 who died from MS two years ago after struggling with it for 25 years. I idolized them both, and I hope that someday soon medical science comes up with a cure for MS.

    My aunt has M.S. and it can be quite debilitating.
    Annette was quite a classy girl and woman, one of the few performers you felt was just as nice in real life as she was on the big and little screen.
    I saw her in a movie where she played the daughter of a stunt driver, not her usual "beach bunny" role, and often wondered if her career had been stifled by the parts she was offered.
    And Back to the Beach could have been a springboard into a tv series where she made occasional appearances as a Mom or Grandmother....if it weren't for the onset of M.S.

    It's so funny how both Frankie & Annette still had 50's hair four decades later. They were just stuck in that decade forever. It made them both look so much older than their years. Now he's 81 & she is gone. Her story ended so sadly.

    • @Melinda8162
      @Melinda8162 3 роки тому +1

      It does/did not! What’s the matter with you? There’s nothing wrong with Frankie’s hair at all, and a lot of these balding YOUNG MEN today would kill for his hair! They all look like skinned melon heads! As for Annette, I think her hair could have been alittle shorter and and not so puffy! But, they certainly did not look ‘ older ‘! Good grief, some of the ‘younger’people today….not even 40, and they look like dried up prunes, with tons of make-up ( the females) OR no make-up at all and they look like hung over hags. As for some of the guys….bearded looking slobs that look like they reek from a block away with wrinkled up clothes and pie pan ears, watermelon bellies hanging out, and dufus looks on their faces!
      A generation of bozos.

    It was amazing how she stood out from all the rest. Why? My Mom said it was her hair and that she just looked different or unique. I think Disney did offer Cubby & Karen a duo contract but Karen (or her family) declined. She had amazing career and seemed like she was a overall nice person. It’s too bad she had a tragic end.

      There are FDA regulations that allow that, you would be amazed to learn what is allowed by the US government to exist on and in food, just as you would be surprised by the US foods that cannot be sold in other countries because of how it is processed.
      Example? (Supposedly) the U.K. will not allow eggs from the US to be sold in Great Britain and we won't allow eggs from the U.K. to be sold here because of how they are processed.

      The "Food Processors" of America process the food we consume. Food processing is done in factories. The Food Processors of America own these factories. Advertisment promotes these foods in our living rooms via Television, Social Media and radio.
      The folks who advertise the food are the same people who organize the programming of the mass media. These are the same folks who own the processing factories. And it's these people who set up the regulatory agencies (law making corporations) to by law legalize crime (crime by producing food that makes people overweight & sick). Annette is from the same group only hired as an actress and known celeb to advertise Nutty Peanut Butter.
      The FDA=The Food And Drug Administration by law allows a drug called MSG to be put into the food supply. MSG=Mono Sodium Glutamate is a toxin.
      Book References:

      @@meinkorper2631 MSG is actually produced in the body to a small extent - something to do with metabolizing protein when we eat it. The problem is the massive amounts that are put into food to increase the taste (savory/salt/meat-type taste). Anything in too great a quantity is a toxin, even water. Sircus is a homeopath which is fine for some things but I wouldn't consider him an scientific expert on analyzing chemicals. Book references are nice but it would be helpful to offer sources that are scientifically-produced research rather than opinions. Anyone can write a book and have it published.
