I was born in 1985, and i first saw Annette in 1998 when Disney had reruns of the mickey mouse club. I didn't know anything about her, i didn't know she was the most popular person on the show. But i saw her and i immediately fell in love lol. She was gorgeous and had this kind and gentle presence to her. It saddens me so much to find out today, 2022, how she lived her last years and died. I wish we could all get to stay young and feeling healthy till death comes for us in our 80s or 90s.

Wonderful she still she lived her life as she knew she needed you when you get near Boston don’t have a lot of choice except to pick up what you can do it better than anyone else she definitely did
This was done obviously just prior to her diagnosis of MS, which was discovered while she was on the beach in BACK TO THE BEACH when she couldn't maintain her balance very well in the sand. So, I would say that this particular interview was (around) 1986 or so. In this interview, she is discussing "preparing" for the movie and I remember that it took around two years for the project to really get off the ground. Sadly, it was to be Annette's last movie.
Annette had nothing but good things to say about Mr. Disney. Apparently the people who are accusing him of being a pedophile are spreading lies. I grew up in the 1950s and we thought Walt Disney was a wonderful, kind man, and I have wonderful childhood memories of the first Disneyland. What is going on there now, I don't know.
I have MS just like she did and it’s hard to get used to it especially when one of the doctors don’t understand it it’s like you can run your family something I can’t just an act of God no no no it’s in your body all the time and then we will watch the TV show they telling you if anybody tells you don’t care to be a mess and tell your doctor he’s a fool
COZMICTOM How can you say something so horrible about a person that you don't even know!!!! And the fact that poor Annette died!!!! You are just an awful person!!
So glad she found love again! She didn't have to die alone.
She was so beautiful and a precious soul. ❤️

thats beautiful
She was always so kind. Such a good person.
She was so wonderful but I wouldn’t trade my life for hers. She knew great joy and greater sorrows.
Annette Funicello was my first LOVE...at 77 she still is!❤
I really enjoyed this interview! I was surprised to learn a couple things I didn't know before!
This interview must have been in the mid 80's, before she told the public of her M.S. We love you Annie.

Never heard anyone call her Annie....

FYI, by sheer accident I found out Annette's former husband, Jack Gilardi died Sept 19, 2019 age at the age of 88. Apparently, he never remarried.
He loved her truly.

Once Walt passed the company went to ...well you know!
And they destroyed it.

Walt Disney was like a second father to Annette funicello.
