I've had Oxford heated grips on my 2014 Ninja 1000 for about 6 years with no issues. I recently replaced just the grips in December with the sport grips.
Hey Brother, thx for the vid! Can't wait to see your tutorial vid on your ninja. As i got the same one, and was looking for a tutorial before im buying the Oxfort grips
Good clarification on these, I suspect the feature was mainly introduced to the heat different between grips because I can definitely feel it on my one generation older Oxford grips. The battery save feature worked fine but I had it fail once when I had the bike on charge and forgot to turn the grips off..... It got into some sort of infinite loop and the next day the bike wouldn't even start so I hard wired them anyways (they retain their old heat settings if you go this route).
Hi Jonathan very good grips it’s about time Oxford bought these clever grips I noticed the lefthand side grip takes longer to heat up by then the throttle grip red hot.
When my premium grips stop working definitely going to buy a set also I ordered the kaoko throttle lock be coming tomorrow 👍👍
In 2013 I put Kawasaki heated grips on my 2012 N1K. Disappointed, produced very little heat. Switched to Oxford at half the price and they were so much better.
Read a motorcycle review where one bike had heated grips and the other hand guards. Review said the hand guards kept their hands warmer
Thank you
With the evo grips auto turning on when bike is running, therefore they would heat up to desired temperature. Do they know to only to heat up when it’s cold outside or do they run all the time the bike is on? If they run at all times when bike is on, is there a way to install an on off switch to not work in hot weather? Thanks
Cool, now i wait for the detailed installation video. Will it fot with the kaoko?
Yes, these will work with the Kaoko
@@JonLong is it possible it is called heaterz evo in the US but Hotgrips premium in Europe?
I’ve seen oxford heated grips before but they are usually much thicker or larger than the original grips are these ones thicker or the same as the originals except heated?
Check the description of the video, and I have the diameters listed for the heated grips. They’re a few millimeters thicker than stock. I find the size to be more comfortable than stock.
Hi.. How do I engage the auto switch off mode with the evo grips ?
you don't have to. It's constantly monitoring the voltage
can you make a front sprocket cleaning video please?

ffs
The connectors are hopeless, cheap and nasty. They on they off.... cmon not good enough.
