Michael had been performing since the age of 5!! Think about that, he lost his whole childhood and missed his childhood terribly as an adult as a consequence that's why he built Neverland
"People Make The World Go 'Round" is extremely underrated and is my favorite song off this album MJ vocals are stellar and this entire album is a timeless classic/masterpiece has 0 misses!🥹👑💖💫(Definitely wish more people would realize this young man was gifted way beyond his years even at the tender age of 14, not to mention having his first Number 1 Hit in the song "Ben" that early within' his career smh MJ is truly incomparable Long Live The King Of Music Forever! Btw this is his 2nd album his first album is “Got To Be There” buddy.)
Michael didn't write these songs yet let alone produce them lol some of them sound quite mature for that reason, he only really got creative control when the Jacksons moved to Epic and made their album Destiny in 1978
Wearing good headhones while listening to MJ is something that I dearly recommend. He's the king of layering and will make you feel every feeling possible, that's why so many people cried, screamed and fainted at his concerts. Also can I say that seeing some vinyls sitting unter that christmas tree would be awesome🤭😊
@1:48 No doubt a truly beautiful song and it shows: *_"Ben"_* _won a _*_Golden Globe_* for *Best Song* and was also _nominated_ (didn't win) for an *Academy Award* for _Best Original Song._ But if you looked up the info without having heard the song, nor having watched the 1972 film with the same name, it might seem a bit odd that the story line the film that included the song in its OST, was about a boy and his (killer) rat!!!
Btw some of the songs on Michael’s solo Motown albums are Jackson 5 songs that they repurposed (like Everybody’s Somebody’s Fool, Got To Be There, etc)
People Make the World Go Round is a cover of a Stylistics song, only with slightly altered lyrics. My Girl is a cover of a Temptations classic. Michael came to prominence as lead singer for the Jackson 5 in 1969. Thanks for the reaction!
You should react to The Jackson 5 Christmas album (one of the best and my personal favourite Christmas album ever) and maybe as a little bonus you could include Little Christmas Tree which Michael recorded around this time
I mean to be honest Justin was really talented if you listen to his old covers back in like 2007, that's why he was discovered, he's definitely the closest we had to little Michael, Michael was crazyyy talent tho, I agree
Ben is a song that is based off a horror movie of the same name Ben (1972) which ben the name of the rat from the the horror movie Willard (1971) well he was Willard's pet rat first but I'm not going to spoil those two horror classic movies for you lol...
Ben is a reference to child Michael so yes I believe he was already huge when he started with the Jackson 5. He performed live before he became famous so at this point I think he was already a superstar. Even in the makings of Off The Wall, Michael's major reference was "the song about a rat", many people didn't see him as an adult yet. They thought of him as the little kid who sang Ben.
Why on earth are you comparing Michael to Janet?? And um there’s a song kind of like Ben on her album?? If so she’s obviously copied it or whatever from before she was 10. Michael Jackson has more talent than Janet just by the fact he composed his own music. I’m unsubscribing if you continue with this ridiculous comparison.

Didn’t even realize until I posted this to Patreon 🤦♂️ Already reacted to his debut though, posting to YT later this week 😁
@@jacobreacts Mistakes happen lol! But definitely can’t wait for that album reaction and love your Christmas aesthetic within this video!

Michael was a super star since he was only 9, there is no one like him

my fav song from him!
I never realized how Christmasy the instrumentals on this album sounded.. Lol I guess the Christmas tree and sweater is making it stand out..
Ben was a movie about a Rat. Michael and his brothers weren't allowed to write their own music at Motown. They were told the only job was to sing.
Don’t sleep on the Jackson 5/ The Jacksons like most people do
React to the Jacksons Christmas album!
People exist that don’t know THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH was the Ringling Brothers Circus?!?! Wild! That song was an ad on TV on the 70s.😂😂😂
Ben, was a song from the Movie Ben, who was a Killetr Rat!

Great reaction 🥰

Please react to the Jacksons on the Ed Sullivan show
People Make the World Go Round is a remake from the group The Stylistics. You should check the out too.

Totally realized AFTER filming 🤦♂️I have reacted to Got To Be There, it’s on Patreon! Coming to UA-cam later this week 😁
Can you react to the Dancing machine album. His preteen voice
Hear that Arianators? You all have to answer to the one up above 😂
Lol.. Michaels songs seemed to have got longer and longer with each album.. So if you continue reacting to him just a heads up.. Lol
About his pet Mouse
Please react to the first song Michael Jackson recording Big boy in 1967 with this brother on steeltown record
I sometimes feel like MJ didn't use his real voice once he became an adult. I would've loved to have heard it.
Listen to 2000 watts😊
There is no "real voice" there is just voice and I don't know if you know but there's a thing called VOCAL RANGE and he had a wide one.
@@marcusscarterr33 thank you!! These people are ridiculous
Nobody telll him this song is about a rat!😂

@@skellzzed8255 what? Ben is a song about a rat. It has nothing to do with MJ. It’s just a beautiful song sung very well by him.

Whaaaat did I even say? That both of their earlier albums bring me joy? 😭
He just said it sounds similar wtf chill out
You need to clean your ears out
Okay Carol
There's nothing wrong with him comparing MJ to his Sister. MJ loved Janet's music.
