@@Back_Shots_Whisperer yes. He was having sex with women while they were on the road and Katherine his wife was at home taking care of the younger children. I remember a private phone conversation and Michael talked about how he could hear Joe having sex with women and that he felt sick and horrible for knowing everything and not being able to tell his mother. She was born one day after Michael's 16th birthday. He hid it from everyone for quite some time, bought her gifts and loved her more than any of his own children, and even allowed her to call him "daddy" while the rest of the kids had to call him "Joseph". When Katherine found out she almost filed for divorce. The daughter suddenly decided to appear and unsurprisingly none of the Jackson children could have a relationship with her, especially not Michael, I know he only met her once in the early 2000s. Joseph had no respect for his wife or his own children.
Little Michael had such a beautiful smile yet was going through so much pain.. 💔 also keep in mind he was 10 at this point, but had been performing since he was 5 years old.
When he was a child, they used to call Michael a 40-year-old midget. Because it was like watching a grown man move and groove. The song, who’s loving you, was originally Smokey Robinson’s song. But he was amazed when Michael sang it, saying that he sang it as if he lived it, even though he was only 10 years old.
Whew!! I tear up Every time I watch young Michael perform, and THIS time was no different. Very nostalgic. Beautiful... and Sad. Sad, not only for what would become Michael's struggles and untimely death, but for what the industry and the state of music - largely - has become. The Nation, even. Interesting times.... Thanks for the lovely reaction.
So heartwarming to see Michael so joyful , head high, free( not thinking about how it must have been preparing for this show, the pressure ...) but to the joy he had singing
Can I say that I'm growing fond of you...? Maybe you're a fan of one of my favorite idols, but that's how it is. Referring to the innate ability... of the little guy, to hold the stage, since he was a puppy, I think about how difficult it must have been for him, to perform, smiling, dancing and singing, when there was a real Ogre in the house, who managed everything. ..who should do what, in what way, and down with belts for every wrong step or note, hearing: "With that big nose you have, you're definitely not my son, you're too ugly..." (then we is still surprised by his attempts to change his face) The psychological pressure, which he suffered more than the others, when his father decided to focus only on him, seeing that it worked, was the spark that, over the years, made the King of Pop increasingly fragile and vulnerable to attacks from the real world... he was really the Peter Pan, an adult who was missing entire parts of his unlived life, due to the greed of a father-master, who had his big gold ring kissed by those who went to visit him....not even if it had been the Pope..more, the Godfather in style...
I wonder if MJ is looking at Joeseph since he keeps looking to the side. He's smiling but also seems like he's a robot, he's hitting those moves so well.
That is so true, I listened to a private tape from the 2000s and he said that everyone was clapping and his father was the one in the audience looking hard at him to not make any mistakes and he'd be terrified thinking he'd get in trouble after the show... poor baby had to smile and try to pretend he wasn't there 💔😥
The Jackson 5 were all so talented, but we all know that Michael was years ahead of his brothers even as a 10 year old kid. A prodigy, a genius, destined to become the King of Pop 👑💖
If it wasn’t for being able to witness kids like MJ, Stevie Wonder, Brandy, and Jazmine Sullivan with my own eyes/ears I would never believe a child could sing this good. Brandy at 11 was already giving Whitney vocals, Jazmine at 11 was already giving Aretha vocals, MJ and Stevie at 11 were already giving… well MJ and Stevie. 😂

Actually Barry Gordy decided that micheal. When they 1st got on the scene they were tellin people Mike was 9, but he was really 11. That was done with all the brothers. Ya’ll do see the tall one in the middle right? He’s the oldest, Jackie. Next in age is at the far left, guitarist & bass vocalist, the late Tito. Fun fact: most in the Jackson family will tell you that Marlon is the best “natural dancer.“ Supposedly Michael even said that in his book, but I’ve never read that part. If this is true, my guess is that he was good at moving and grooving, but Michael was able to pick up choreography and embody it better than anyone. I think that’s what Marlon had a hard time with. I remember in an interview Katherine saying that she thought Marlon might’ve been a better natural dancer, but Michael wanted it more. Again, it’s hard to know how much of this is really true. I could say that while I love Marlon, I never thought Michael was in danger of losing his reputation as being the better dancer lol
Believe me or don't, but I got to spend 5 days at Neverland in 2002 and see MJ's dance room. He had LITERALLY worn the top layer of the floor away in a certain spot practicing spins in front of the mirror. He would dance himself to exhaustion trying to make his performances perfect, so maybe it came more natural to Marlon, but Michael was the only perfectionist in the group.
@@KB-xp6dq that’s the point I was making. I know that he would do one move repeatedly repeatedly repeatedly hundreds of times in rehearsal, so that when it was time to do it for show it would appear effortless, spontaneous. and the genius of it was that once he had perfected those rehearsed moves, in future performances, he could truly did it spontaneously at will. Definitely a Virgo lol, if you believe in that sort of thing.
@@dancingwheels8494 For whatever it's worth, I also got to see him be a regular dad, so try to remember him as that - and not just a ridiculously talented performer. His kids were the sweetest and weren't the least bit spoiled or entitled. He did a great job as a dad before he left them and the rest of us. EDIT: I've written the whole story about my time at Neverland. Let me know if you want to read it.
@@KB-xp6dq well I’m glad you got that experience with him, but it is very hard for me to hear. When I was a teenager, I had a footballaccident that paralyzed me. I don’t know how, but Michael’s publicist Stuart Backerman called after talking to my parents to try to set up a meeting with Michael. Before plans could be finalized, Gavin told the lie that would ruin the chance that I dreamed about my entire life. I kept in touch with Backerman until he parted ways with Michael. He promised me that Michael got every message I passed along, but it was still extremely sad that I never got that chance.
Thriller came out when I was 13. What a time to be alive & a teenager! You really had to be there to know the phenomenon that took place. If you look at some of his past concerts, you will see people fainting from sheer disbelief that they were seeing Michael live & in person. Please react to his 1995 MTV performance. It pretty much sums up his craft.
I want you back was their first recording for Motown. Who's loving you penned & sung by Smokey Robison B4 Michael, everyone said Michael did it better😊
All of them are very talented. Jermaine can sing of course, he has a duet with Whitney Houston, I think, and he is mostly known for writing and producing he also has a solo career. R.I.P. Mr. Tito Jackson🫶🏽
In his concerts, when he was an adult, MJ would always re-enact a medley of songs, starting with 'I Want You Back', into 'The Love You Save' and finishing with 'I'll Be There' and he would introduce the medley by saying "now we're gonna give you, the old songs, the old fashioned way" and it was to pay homage to the J5 performances over the years. The J5 appearances on the Ed Sullivan show were a massive boost to their popularity at the time.
Michael was the youngest in the Jackson 5 and you were right that the other small guy in the video is Marlon. Jackie is the oldest, Tito is on the left and Jermaine is on the right (co-lead on many of the songs).
What about him and Barry Gibb of the BeeGees doing a duet later in life, nobody knew about this recorded track, years after MJ passed Barry released this gem! Two legends, two best friends “All in your name”. Please check it out, lot of people did not know such gem existed!
You guys, Marlon is older than Michael by 1 year. He's smaller possibly because he was born with a twin (Brandon). That's Jermaine on Bass singing call/response with Michael. Jackie is the oldest, the tall one in the middle. Michael would be the 10 year old here. Their mom designed and made almost everything they wore. ❤
P.S. And your joy watching and listening was FABULOUS. You are right, the song (I Want You Back) really gives life, it´s just happy. Even though it IS a little funny (i.e. weird) that it´s sung by a 10 year old 😄)
Yes, in the history of pop music, the other gifted male child singer was Frankie Lymon. He was the MJ before MJ but he had a bad upbringing and died really young. Now there was a guy who needed a Joe Jackson in his life...
Jermaine was initially supposed to be lead singer. Until his mom convinced Papa Joe to listen to Michael. ( Michael wanted to join the group. He was told he was too young) Joe allowed Michael Jackson to join. I know they had conflict in real life. Jermaine left, and the youngest brother Randy joined when they became The Jacksons. It was Marlon. You are referring to the steps like music. However, his dancing was the best. Off the Wall is considered the best by black audiences Thriller is more crossover. He is the epitome of music videos. Jermaine had some success musically.
Michael is the youngest boy out of all the boys in the Jackson clan. Janet is the youngest out of all the siblings. I believe her and Michael are about 8 years apart in age
Michael was the youngest of the original Jackson 5. Randy, the youngest boy in the family, performed with them occasionally throughout the years and joined permanently when Jermaine went solo
Lol that stand song was played at the end of madonnas blond ambition tour when the lights went up. I always wanted to know who it was. On the topic though. Kinda sad the terror they rehearsed under to get that perfection.

Joe sat there in rehearsals with a belt in his hand. Talk about old school motivation...
Michael was actually forced to lie about his to appear to the masses more, so he was actually 11 here.. Great reaction❤️👍
PLEASE REACT TO JACKSON 5 MEDLEY MJ 30TH ANNIVERSARY, its sooo iconic
Marlon was actually a twin but his brother died at birth. I believe his name was Brandon.
I think Brandon lived a few days
YAY
Wow I didn't know Tito passed away I have it up with the Jacksons and a long long time rip Tito Jackson😢
Y'all need to hear the record version of who's Loving You because their harmonies on that song are iconic but they don't do it on this live version
A good reaction would be there music video blame it on the boogie.
Michael was of my time. i remember these shows so clearly. what a fng talent.
That is a?GIFT
P.S. And your joy watching and listening was FABULOUS. You are right, the song (I Want You Back) really gives life, it´s just happy. Even though it IS a little funny (i.e. weird) that it´s sung by a 10 year old 😄)
✨💜✨
His youngest son looks just like him here 😢
their Christmas album please 🌠🎅🎄
His best album was Off The Wall. He had to cross over with Triller
Off the wall was very good but couldn't top Thriller
Yes, in the history of pop music, the other gifted male child singer was Frankie Lymon.
He was the MJ before MJ but he had a bad upbringing and died really young. Now there was a guy who needed a Joe Jackson in his life...
Please react to Michael Jackson in the studio recording childhood
Please react to Blame it on the boogie video. ❤
Off the Wall is considered the best by black audiences
Thriller is more crossover. He is the epitome of music videos. Jermaine had some success musically.
Michael is the youngest boy out of all the boys in the Jackson clan. Janet is the youngest out of all the siblings. I believe her and Michael are about 8 years apart in age
Randy is the youngest boy
Randy is the youngest actually
Michael was the youngest of the original Jackson 5. Randy, the youngest boy in the family, performed with them occasionally throughout the years and joined permanently when Jermaine went solo
August 29th 1958
The king of pop
Michael Joseph Jackson's birthday my guys 😊
Lol that stand song was played at the end of madonnas blond ambition tour when the lights went up. I always wanted to know who it was. On the topic though. Kinda sad the terror they rehearsed under to get that perfection.
"Stand" is a Sly and the Family Stone song.
Micheal is the youngest
The youngest is Randy
Please keep up more Michael Jackson solo and with the Jacksons and Jackson 5! You guys need to react to the Full Length Long Form Bad music video as well as Can You Feel It by The Jacksons! Michael is the GOAT
Michael is the youngest brother on stage. Jackie who's in the middle is the oldest. The youngest brother is Randy, not on stage.
Since you mentioned Michael selling you a potion you should react to the Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney song Say, Say, Say.
Just watched Ciara week 2, which included Ludacris. He deserves a full week!

when they came out they had them lie about their ages so michael was 11 going on 12 here even though he looked much younger
