@jacobreacts I love that you are diving into her discography, you are in for a ride!! People can say what they wasn't about her "voice", but Britney Spears has a unique tone that is instantly attributable to her. Not to mention she plays with different sounds in her music and its honestly refreshing to the ear. WAIT UNTIL YOU WATCH HER MUSIC VIDEOS!! Her artistry as a performer and the way she captivates the camera is unparalleled! No one like her. Period. Watching the album's music videos as you go would really set the stage for you to experience her like people did back in the early 90s and early 00s.

See what I don’t get is swifties who like Sabrina but not Ariana when she has similar writing and styling to Ari (but worse). I think your preconceived ideas about her are affecting your real feelings.

"I'll never stop Loving you" and anything after were not originally released in the US. They were bonus tracks on the Eurpoean and Asian versions of the album. They were released later in the US on the Singles collection and anniversary editions of the album. It's one of my favorites of hers.

I was 8 when Britney became big. I first heard her on a Jive sample CD that came out with a Backstreet Boy VHS tape. I had Britney barbies, valentines day cards, t shirts....You should listen to her live performances growing up like Micky Mouse Club and Star Search. People only know her for the baby voice but she had originally wanted to do broadway. I hate what happened to her, her family and management teied their hardest to destroy her. Majority of the people I know who have worked worth her said she was one of the most down to earth humble people they worked with. I've met some of her hair and makeup artists and they've never had a negative thing to say. I wanted to add, growing up I would say Soda Pop was one of my least favorite songs, I would usually skip it. Now it's one of my favorites because her voice is closer to how she sang as a Mouskateer and on Star Search. I wish she would release more songs in this register. Born to Make You Happy was my favorite song on this album. Originally the lyrics were much more sexual but she knew she had a young audience and had them rewrite it to be more wholesome. The 2009 remaster remix is a must listen. I might like it better than the original.

In other words u r suppose to love the song but hate how long bc that is how long she waited for him he didn't make the cut so n the 6 song she saw a guy from a far but he was not on his radar but he pushes all of Janet's buttons and she never had this b4 they final got together in song 7 and of course she is scared of getting everything she wants however in song 8 she is doing more and having fun but just not ready for s*x then the next album shows what happened again do u now understand 😊

Babyface wrote Let It Flow for Whitney to record for Waiting to Exhale soundtrack album, but after hearing the song Whitney told Babyface that she'd like Toni to sing the song instead. Babyface had Toni recorded the song, then it became Whitney's most favourite Toni Braxton song 😃

people have probably already told you all this but 'If thats what it takes' is the english version of probably her biggest hit in french and probably her best ever song 'Pour Que Tu Maimes Encore', and 'I Dont Know' is the english version of 'Je Sais Pas' both songs from her french album 'Deux' which is INCREDIBLE you should deffo check it out. Also 'Fly' is from that album. Its all coming back to me now was one of those songs you cant believe was only number 2 and not number 1. I love Dreamin of you too, a classic. I hammered this album as a kid. It was basically my gateway into loving Celine. 🖤🖤🖤🖤 I love this album! Its so 80s/90s. One of my fave Celine albums because its more up beat for her. Was thinking while you were listening to the Unison track, that you should check out the remix that they did for the single (its the version on the music video) because it dials it up so much its crazy, and on those parts where she goes higher on the chorus, they also leave in the lower vocals as well so it has this awesome duel effect. Its so good. I was waiting for your reaction to Love by another name hahaha. The robot voice even when I first heard it as a kid was like wtf? haha. I think that song could have stood the test of time better without those production faux pas.

Oh holy night is the audio version of the music video she made re-recording the vocals in 2000. There was actually an audience there clapping but it was to the recording of the music video

If you didn't like this much then you might not like her whole discography.. Overall out of all of her songs she doesn't have many of the BIG powerful vocal songs and ballads that most people know her for.. I've been a fan of her my whole life (well since Titanic) but when I really looked into her albums I was surprised with how different most of her music was than I would've thought.. It was definitely a grower for mee.. Some songs that I hated I now love..
