Medieval Burford, Beautiful Cotswolds, England, UK

Burford is a popular medieval tourist town in the Cotswolds region of England in the UK.
Located approximately 20 miles west of Oxford, and 90 minutes west of London, it has over a million visitors a year. A beautiful example of a Cotswolds town, with it mellow yellow medieval buildings and streets it is home to many restaurants, pubs, antique shops and tea rooms.
It also boasts the amazing church of St John the Baptist, one of the 10 most visited Churches in England, with Pagan routes and a Civil war history.
Set beside the River Windrush and having expanded up the hill in Elizabethan times, with good road links to nearby Oxford, London and Cheltenham and Bath, Burford should be on the list of any tourist exploring the Cotswold's.
Originally a fortified settlement and then a medieval wool town, Burford is rich in history and character.

This was remarkable! I’m going to watch every single one of your videos! I just found you today! I am an American who lived in England four year 10 summers working there and countless vacations that I’ve been to almost every county! I’m obsessed with the Cotswolds, but I never been to this one! So now it’s on my list! My father side is Irish in origin with his parents were born in Ireland and they came to the United States when they were very young over 114 years ago. My genetics I did four times and found some English DNA which I was very happy with because I felt so in touch with England and Britain! I was always obsessed with the history and British history in particular! my grandmother, I citizenship of ireland and enable me to work in England, many times, and Italy! Her maiden name was Stretton. I know it was very English and her origins going back to 16 or 1700s probably from England! They were protestant, but probably became Catholic by the 1800s! In Kerry of all places. So with the Irish passport, I was able to work in England and Italy! My mother side is Italian by ancestry! I worked in Italy for three years not altogether, of course. And many vacations and I did go to school there many many years ago.! my mom’s DNA had a lot of Greek! So I was obsessed with Greco Roman history going back to the bronze age and before down to the medieval times!
So I’m gonna watch all those videos ! I’m from suburban, New Jersey but I was born and raised in Brooklyn New York!

Wikipedia, the Guardian and other publications, as today confirm that the owners of Burford Priory are Elisabeth Mudoch, Her ex husband, Matthew Freud, and their Public Relations company. I see no issue with my facts. based on reliable Journals.
