This is a novel idea.
Qui Gon's first loyalty seems to be to the Force. Sith Jinn would have no issue killing his master in the Rule of Two.
He would have to use his very particular set of skills however.
This is 100% my new favorite thing. SO much fun to see these characters in their different iterations, cutting to the bone of who they are. One small comment--I could actually see Tholme doing very well in the Rule of Two, almost as kind of an UberMaul version of what Maul would have been if he'd been kept alive for another couple decades. Tholme could easily become this solo master-assassin, and I think in his case he might almost turn into a pursuit-predation-type hunter chasing down and dispatching one Jedi at a time. He's not the guy who's going to become Chancellor and overthrow the Republic, but when the Jedi Grandmaster mysteriously turns up dead on the Temple steps, it'll be him who's behind the assassination.

I agree that Qui-Gon Jinn, throughout the material he is a featured character in, doesn't really come off as a particularly formidable combatant. He's capable, but more skilled and imposing than truly overwhelming. Yet throughout the lore he's widely spoken of among the Jedi Order as one of the Order's not only best Jedi, but best Knights. I get the impression that what probably happened, considering that we actually very rarely get to read a depiction of Qui-Gon in his youth (we get one short story of him at age sixteen in "Legacy of the Jedi" (the four-story chronicle of the Dooku - Qui-Gon - Obi - Wan - Anakin master-apprentice lineage's encounters with Lorian Nod) but not much else (other than some artwork); but by the time of the first "Jedi Apprentice" book, he's already in his fifties I think . . . is that Qui-Gon was a very powerful and high-tier warrior from his teens to his late thirties, maybe even a little bit longer, but past that, especially since real-life soldiers and athletes do feel the weight of such strenuous lives catch up with them decades later, the scars of those battles stacked more and more heavily upon him, and that's when Jinn had to start retooling his Ataru/Djem So style from the ground up, using more of a Makashi approach to his power duelist swordfighting.

About Qui Gon Jinn: I believe he as a sith would be pretty much the same - all about balance. He would wreck chaos just to counterbalance the light side and believing in his own righteousness.
Oh god, imagining sith Qui-Gon would be scary. Just a chaotic evil abomination who lives like an outlet for the chaotic energies of the darkside of the force. Darth Erraticus, the chaotic.
Was very happy to see Tholme and Aurra get their turn! Maladi (really unexpected but good choice) and Qui Gon got great analyses also, I think this is your best role reversal vid thus far.
I'd love to see your interpretations of Lana Beniko, Kas'im and Lumiya as light siders, and Plo Koon, Kyp Durron and Kao-Cen Durach as dark siders.

Suggestions: Vaylin, darth marr, naga sadow? and light side, ben skywalker though i guess we kinda got a peak, tenel ka, i kinda want to say Bastilla. We saw her on the dark side, but I guess my question would be what your thoughts would be if she'd been dark side her whole life. Like what she'd be at her peak rather then having been turned only briefly.
Also, there's a new cinematic trailer from Swtor. I think it's called 'Disorder.' Worth checking out and maybe reviewing in the future in my view and opinion. Anyways be blessed and keep up the great content Fanalysis👍.
Just to say this. I don't think Tholme would be called up. He would either call up or have one of his agents just look at a Sith who was trying something he didn't approve of and tell them. "No."
Dark Vodo Bass? How would is absolute devotion to the light and total hatred/fear of the dark side’s corruption transfer to being on the other side? Also what about a light side Ka’ssim (probably misspelled that)?
So this is an idea for another Star Wars video, why not talk about Force-Sensitive groups outside of the Jedi and Sith, there are a ton of groups like that, such as The Dai Bendu, Baran Do Sages, the Matukai, THE JENSAARAI, you could go threw their history and philosophy, and if you would want to be apart of these orders.
I would see Qui-Gon being a lot more focused on the force and have a lot more dark side abilities. The reason he was focused on his lightsaber was because the jedi order didn't allow him to actively use his powers in the way he wanted to.
It feels bizarre to me that when discussing how Sion's abilities would manifest in the Light you didn't bring up K'Kruhk's hibernation as a possibility since both characters were discussed here.

More Varis than little finger. Little Finger does desire to be on top and does outright lie and make enemies. He's clever enough to make sure those enemies are never in a position to turn on him but he does take risks like that. Lying to Caitline could have easily gone really bad. However just like a battlefield you need to take risks in order to succeed and he does succeed in climbing the ladder.
Varis plays it much safer and almost never lies. He often omits important information and says things vaguely but rarely tells anything that is objectively untrue. He also doesn't make enemies as there are very few out there that hate him. The trade-off is that he can never really climb the ladder as he never takes risks. He does not desire power.
Tholme would be that way. He wouldn't really desire power or to be on top of things.
Cue us having technically problems.

I think one of the most important things about that is age. How old are they when they turn towards the dark side? Young ones like Exar Kun would embrace the Sith but older ones like Dooku would still keep a lot of their jedi heritage.
I would like more stories about the Jedi of the Service Corps. Basically failed Jedi but still work with the Order.

Dark Side Windu and Light side Palpatine I think would be very interesting
Reed James light side palpatine would be pretty unlikely. He was always dark side oriented. If I remember correctly he was into occult sith lore even before he met Plagueis.

Palpatine is a sociopath. I don't think it's even possible he could ever be truly light side.
Palpatine may nod along with what he's told and pretend he agrees or cares all the while growing his own personal power. Use the Jedi and gain access to their forbidden teachings and confiscated relics until hes done with them. I don't see any scenario where Palpatine could ever embrace the light. He was always destined to embrace the dark side.

I think what would make Tholme great as a Sith Spymaster would be that you probably would never know him. Like you see Tholme everyday at meetings and training sessions but it turns out that it wasn't Tholme, you've never seen him before even when you are looking right at him. Tholme is the guy cleaning the latrines, he's the guy who you almost hit with your speeder, he's the guy you pass in the street because that is Tholme, you won't see him but he will see you.

I don't think so. He would be a spy master. What you are describing is a spy agent.
As a spy master you can't remain low profile because you have too much to do on a daily basis. You have dozens if not hundreds of agent you need to coordinate and likely a lot of office work and meetings with high profile people. I would more think that as Tholme he would be very well known and his position as spy master would also be known but almost no one has the details of what that meant. Where the agent are, what they are doing and he would likely also have a few agent that are only loyal to him just in case.
He would be the kind of guy that you know is powerful but you can never know exactly how powerful and when you think you have outmaneuvered him he suddenly reveals he foresaw it all along.

I see Tholme as the guy who ain't that skilled in a rapier dual so he resolves to bringing a 45 and shooting his opponent. And then, cause of his preset machinations, he gets away with it.
If you where to build a force order from the ground up what would it be?
How would it work?
What would its goals be?
What powers would it focus on?
What would its relationship to the force be?
How would it come into existance?
For me: The Seekers of the Hidden flame.
A small order of force scientists who are trying to find a way to use the force to subvert entropy and defy the heat death of the universe. They are based on an ancient star dreadnaught crusing through uncharted wildspace. They are self sufficent and rule over a vast crew of serfs as a generation ship.
They where founded by a rouge sith lady during the new sith wars. They are willing to use any form of power to achive their ends and no experiment is too twisted or depraved to follow if they think it will lead to results. The seekers are heavily focused on alchemy and rituals with a side order of eugenics and bioengineering. They wield scatterguns and force imbued glaives and knives; eschewing the lightsaber as wasteful and unstable.
The hirarchy of the Seekers is masters, Acolytes, initiates and serfs. They recruit from within and select the most gifted, driven and ruthless of the next generation. Promotion is based on knowlage and acompleshment; they are scholars and engineers fist and foremost. The first seeker speeks for the council of masters but is only allowed to rule directly in combat. Masters of the order are taught the secrets of halcyon construction and essence transfer and this they are supposed to use to place themselves in a halcyon upon retirement.
These Halcyons are networked into the ships computer and are supposed to consult and review the data in order to solve the great riddle. They can also be plugged into droids to grant them their own agency. Few know of the existence of the hidden masters, only thinking that the ship has a droid brain.

When will you guys do some of the other popular Characters like Mace Windu, Yoda, Sidious, Ahsoka, Etc? I doubt you all will do him but I want to see Kanan. He's one of the better parts of the new canon and it would be interesting if he turned to the dark.
I think I requested this in one of Jensaari's versus, but what do you guys think of Role Reversal Versus where part of the description goes into basing force abilities, skills, strategies, etc on choices they make as the characters that they are. I don't know, I'd find it entertaining.

these videos are awesome, but I think one thing is missing. you guys make a point of saying what era of sith the Jedi would be in, but you don't bring up what Jedi order you think the sith would fit best into. each Jedi order is just as different as each sith order. just curious. these videos are still highly entertaining and I don't miss a single one.

Why not do a whole mirror universe? Along with Jedi/Sith reversals, maybe some Rebel/Empire reversals. Bounty hunters Han and Chewie paid by the Empire to take down Rebel mercenaries Bossk and Boba Fett. Lando and Lobot doing administration on the Death Star, etc...

I disagree. Someone doesn't become that jaded if they had a tough life from childhood. Someone becomes jaded like that if they had a very happy childhood and then they had something shake their entire core. Rahm Kota is serious but I wouldn't call him jaded. He's perfectly happy having it tough as that was all he ever knew.

To be fair, that seems extremely unfair in my opinion based on the sole fact that the New Jedi Order has GM Luke, who is undeniably the most powerful force user in the entire setting in any time period.
Luke isn't all-powerful. Throw a group of top-tier masters at him, and he's going to have a challenge on his hands.
It's not just Luke though. It's Kyp Durron, Corran Horn, Mara Jade, Saba etc etc. Luke is the heaviest hitter of all of them but the NJO Council are far more likely to defeat the clone wars era council than the reverse. Luke on his could comfortably defeat any of his opponents on an individual basis. When he's got this calibre of back up he's set.

Lord Hoth would be an interesting character, especially given the fact that we know that he would be more powerful than even Darth Sidious. No Jedi or rival Sith could stand against Hoth's almighty Stasis Fields.

Hey guys, my Star Wars shitposting has begun again! Today I present a case for the most powerful Jedi in Star Wars History...High ground Kenobi...
Obi-Wan with the high/low ground is canonically the most powerful Jedi. This is fact. Had Yoda not denied his request to battle The Senate with typical Jedi arrogance, Obi-Wan could have defeated Palpatine in the Senate building, which housed a variety of different altitudes; this was designed so that the Chancellor could always have the moral high ground in political debates. But Obi-wan didn't fight The Senate, and Yoda soon learned that you can't cleave the Sheev in a normal 1v1.
Yoda is shorter than virtually every other fighter, which gives him a permanent low-ground disadvantage; however, his saber-fighting style utilizes a flipping-heavy technique in order to negate this weakness for a temporary window. You'll notice that, as he falls from the central podium in The Senate's building, he immediately retreats, knowing that he can never hold the high ground in this duel. You'll also notice that, while training Luke, he rides on him like a mount, to gain the intellectual high ground and accelerate Luke's training. Obi-Wan's defensive Form III lightsaber style synergizes with his careful military maneuvers; as he only strikes when prepared, he can always hold the strategic high ground. You'll come to realize that Commander Cody's artillery strike failed against Obi-Wan, when hundreds of Jedi were killed in similar attacks. Cody failed to grasp the strategic situation, as the Jedi Master's elevation was superior to his by hundreds of meters, making him virtually unkillable. Had Cody taken his time and engaged the Jedi on even terrain, he could have possibly succeeded. Obi-Wan then retreated under the surface of the lake, so that he could maintain the topographical low/high ground. In RotS, you'll notice that all the Jedi killed were on level ground with the clones, thereby assuring their demise.
Anakin doesn't hate sand for the reasons he told Padme; all Jedi hate sand, as the battlefield can rapidly change between low and high ground on multiple vectors, so your perspective must be from a certain three-dimensional point of view in order to comprehend who holds the high ground. This is the only reason why Obi-Wan killed Maul in Rebels. This is also why Obi-Wan hates flying; there is no gravity in space, therefore there is no high or low ground from any frame of reference (This also negates the spinning trick).
It took the Tusken Raiders years of conflict against Old Ben Kenobi to grasp his superiority in terrain advantage, as you see them visibly flee in ANH when they realize he holds the low (inverse-high) ground. Additionally, Obi-Wan's victory in the cantina against the drunkard was assured, as he held the temperamental high ground, his actions more calculated and well-thought than the alcoholic, who was so uncivilized.
In ANH, Vader proves his newfound mastery by engaging Obi on perfectly even ground. However, Obi-Wan intentionally sacrifices himself on the Death Star, so that he could train Luke from a higher plane of existence, thereby giving him the metaphysical high ground.
Why was Vader so invested in the construction and maintenance of the Death Star? Because he knows Obi-wan can't have the high ground if there's no ground left.
As seen through the events of the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan was known to be on friendly terms with Senator Organa, whose homeworld held large quantities of mountainous terrain, the perfect habitat for a Jedi Master. Grand Moff Tarkin was already in position to destroy Alderaan as a first target, as the distance from Scarif to Alderaan was too vast to reach between the escape and recapture of the Tantive IV, even at 1.0 lightspeed. Alderaan had been the initial target all along, as Obi-Wan with the high ground was the primary threat to the Death Star. How? Because a moon-sized space station would have some form of gravitational pull, thereby negating Obi-Wan's zero-gravity weakness; Obi-Wan with the perpetual high-ground in a low-orbit starfighter would easily be able to fire proton torpedoes through a ventilation shaft, although the Empire was uncertain of the specific weakness of the Death Star planned by Galen Erso (who was a good friend).
In Return of the Jedi, you can see that the Throne Room contains a variety of different altitudes; Palpatine placed these there to ensure Vader's defeat. However, Sheev failed to realize that his weakness was no ground, and should have covered that useless gaping pit which does nothing.
A common misconception is the idea of a 'prostrate position' version of the high ground, wherein Obi-Wan lies flat on his back, giving him tactical superiority from his point of view. However, this strategy is futile, as for the high ground to come into effect, there must be a differential between parties on both the x-axis and y-axis to a moderately significant variation from both absolutes (Angles only a Sith would deal in.). For Obi-Wan's high ground powers to have full effect, he must stand between 15 and 75 degrees (π/12 to 5π/12 radians) diagonal from his opponent(s) on any quadrant of the trigonometric circle.
In conclusion, Obi-wan abuses spatial relativity and Taoist doctrine in order to always invoke his high-ground powers.
