Beachers Squads are by far the most effective in bunkers systems and the boarding of space ships, and they were extremely effective against many enemies of mankind, but sadly they also prove to be just as dangerous during the Horus Heresy were these squads are just as effective against their former comrades.
I wish there were more focused HH novels/short stories about Breacher squads. I love the idea of those marines just being hardened veterans accustomed to some of the most violent fighting that Astartes can perform. My favorite units to paint as well lol
Any story with Tharax Antarax is a good one so far, he's quickly shaping up to be one of the best characters your invented and I both respect and love to hate the man

Love these amazing stories of the Astartes Legion formations. So cool and gives great perspective to those not familiar with the Lore. The Chapters of the 40K universe are a shallow shell of the Legions of old which is telling as the Astartes are crazy powerful even in 40K let alone to our current level.
Iron Warriors, how ironic. The most abused and under appreciated legion, the only traitor legion that can still muster as a legion. Arguably the most powerful independent faction. Do we know what happened to those wonder weapons the Lion gave old Perti?
The majority got dismantled at the end of the siege of Terra to prevent loyalists from retrieving them. Perti kept a few that he thought he could personally maintain and carry with his fleets.

On the note of possible future primaris upgrades of old units like the primaris breacher, I think a version of the inceptor with melee weapons and a version of the infiltrator armed with flamers would both be really cool. Also still waiting for a primaris terminator. Maybe that could be the unit to replace breathers.

In 30k Ultramarines can take a breacher squad where they all swap their bolt guns for power swords. Was a straight upgrade of a normal unit in 1.0 iirc it’s an special unit in 2
Can’t wait for a space wolves heresy video for one of these squads. Like a mirrored version of the above friendship. A space wolf, salamander, and imperial fist would be cool maybe, offense, balance, defense. Wolf and fist having hot and cold anger. All for the lives of the imperial auxiliary, a “good”mirror of this crew. The twos side by side view of these times would be so cool.
Great video as always. You make me paint more minis than anyone Else! But one critique: Iron warriors dont kill eachother or other legions untill the heresy itself. Of all the traitor legions the iron warriors show the most honor to their foes and their allies. I would highly recomend You to read/listen to angel exterminatus. You will have a new understanding of Perturabo, fulgrim and both their legions.
No, the iron warriors did not. Nor did many others tbh. I deal in the exceptions that prove the rule. All of my takes are slightly off of centre for warhammer content. Why? Because I like to be different. There’s a whole black library for the standard stuff.
