There is a war of making Slaanesh more insidious while more accessible.
Replace the domain of excess with obsession.
This would allow Slaanesh cultist to be mostly the same, but with a less overt angle. It also gives slaanesh a unique angle to attack from. All of Slaanesh’s cultists are obessed with something, a goal, a dream, a skill, something. This obsession could be anything, from becoming a better warrior to being a good painter. Sensation & pleasure may be slaanesh’s domains but would be less important than Obsession. Nothing else matter but the cultist’s goal. Not even themselves in some cases.

My favorite Slaanesh story is from the Daemons of Chaos 7th Edition Codex. Slaanesh costructs and presents the Chalices of Lies, Entrophy, and War to the other gods. As they are all as attacted to Slaanesh as they are repelled, all acept their gift. Nurgle and Tzeentch accept glad despite themselves to be thought worthy of the Dark Princes attention. Khorne however could not resolve his wrathful nature with the peculiar attaction that Slaanesh aroused. So, he smote his Chalice a might blow shattering it. Yet, even as the shards fell to the ground , Khorne felt compelled to gather the fragments together. For many days and nights, Khorne worked to restore the chalice, only to dash it apart again in a fit of rage. The Blood God has since recreated and destroyed the Chalice of war untold times...
Khorne is incapable of appreciating true beauty.

Slaanesh is the darkness that lives inside our hearts of all mortal beings, it is the allures to the darkest of passions and sins, it is the desire to break every taboo and culture norm, and it is pure hedonism and brutality of one self to the highest degree. Were the other Dark Gods of Chaos are forces of nature such as diseases, wars, and change, Slaanesh is the dark mirror that lives inside of every single being that desires freedom and joy, and that is why it is so alluring to so many.
I was re-reading the early judge dredd comics, and when the robot "Call-Me-Kenneth" goes on a rampage, he says, "I like to bad things!" It reminded me of Latarian Milton, that 7 year old who stole his grandmother's SUV. When the news interviewed him, he said, "it's fun. It's fun to do bad things". There's something tempting about doing that which is forbidden. Someone told me the other day, "I woke up in the middle of the night the other day, and ate a huge piece of cake. While I was eating it, I kept thinking, "what the hell are you doing!?" It's interesting that they took this kind of thing, and made a god out of it. The Eldar really screwed everything up for everyone.

Something I rarely hear anyone mention is the appropriateness of Slaanesh having 6 as its sacred number. 6 is the first of the "Perfect Numbers." What could be more appropriate for the Prince of Perfection.
What is a perfect number?
The factors of 6, besides itself, are 1, 2, & 3.
Adding up these factor of 6, 1+2+3 = 6 we get the number 6 itself.
A perfect number is any number such that the sum of its factors, besides itself, add up to the number itself.
Additional Example:

The deepest darkest secret is that every Eldar craves slaanesh. They want slaanesh. They love slaanesh the way an addict loves his drug. They are are slaanesh and slaanesh is them. When they die, slaanesh does not chase them down. No. The eldar soul looks that dark light and moves willingly to it, drawn by thier deepest desire, dreading it, hating it, but loving it. Like an addict, they know it will consume them but they cant help it. I am genuinely sad you didn't write a story for my favorite Chaos God as the other three stories for each of the others were STUNNING! Really was looking forward to what you could have done with She Who Thrists.

Surprised you didn't talk about the fate of the sliver knight who ventured in Slaanesh'es realm. He managed to get all way to Shes who thirsts. He tried to raise his sword to cut down the Chaos God but instead knelt before him. With touch of Slaanesh'es royal septor, the knight was Damned.
Issue is that story is more... contested? It's believed to be retconned, as there hasn't been mention of it in some time.

The circles of seduction don't make much sense to me. It's weird that they are built in a way to punish those who give into Slaanesh's power. Seems like the opposite of what the gods do with their adherents everywhere else

Unlike the other Chaos gods, Slaanesh does not keep out people from their realm. However, Slaanesh still needs to keep others out of their own palace, so the Circles work well as a bar to reach the prince itself, while still giving the many boons The Prince of Pleasure has to offer.
Perhaps it’s less about punishment, and more about holding Slaanesh’s petitioners to the highest standard of self-mastery. The Dark Prince has some very high standards, but no tolerance for failure.
Brother Baldermort, your tales and original stories are exquisite and I would not mind if this narration and guide was 3 hours long.
