I love the fact that you match your soft furnishings with your clothes. It brings a whole new vibe when chillin at home and you have unexpected guests arrive.
I LOVE your style. I have been dressing vintage inspired since the late 1970s and at 60 yrs of age I still do and love it! Thank you for making content that proves how fabulous we curvy girls look in fitted, feminine and vintage style. I think it’s so lovely and you just glow. You exude fun and it shows that your style makes you feel good about YOURSELF! I just love that and now subscribe to your channel. Looking so forward to watching your videos. (I feel a binge session coming on for the day.)
Aww, thank you so much! ❤️
Never stop swishing and twirling!
I loved every look. And I love seeing your enthusiasm. This was such fun to watch!
I love the idea of moving the buttons on your sweater to get the desired fit! Brilliant!
The red skirt and the red polka dot blouse is my favorite outfit.
Loved your catwalk show...i think i going to rewatch your green/red gunny dress make...or maybe all of theme there so nice.🤩. And your so right dress up nice for yourself and enjoy that ...thats the best way to do it🥰
I may not have any holiday-themed outfits, but it was fun to watch you show off your holiday-themed outfits. :) That black velvet skirt could probably suit me too.
I love all of your GunneSax dresses and i especially love how Lion makes guest appearances all over this video! I love that little guy and we defiantly need more Lion time in future videos!
The black velvet skirt with the red top is my fave, with the plaid silk taffeta coming in very close in second place.
xoxo's Sandie😊
I LOVE all of these! It inspired me. I have a massively heavy black corduroy skirt that I am planning to wear on Christmas, but I was unsure what to pair it with. You've given me some wonderful ideas. 🎄. Thank you.
I love your style and Lion is adding extra cuteness
Wow, you look gorgeous in all your outfits.
My favourite is the black velvet skirt, and red sweater. That green lining is lovely.
Have a lovely a Christmas 💖💖💖
Thank you! Merry Christmas!
Happy Holidays!
All of them are amazing, but my favorite was outfit number two.
#11, the plaid is my favorite. I'm just obsessed with plaid and this one reminds me of a dress I had when I was a kid. Plus the taffeta makes a wonderful russle.
I’m in love with that plaid dress!!
Loved the fashion show! I think the shoes you said looked like a Christmas tree remind me more of the Eiffel Tower. Maybe use them for 1920's shoes! Happy Holidays!
I love every outfit. Happy every holiday!!
I love this video! Always up for look books. Gives me good ideas about putting my own clothes together for outfits.
Lion had to join you for the ice skater look because you matched his blue collar!!
This looked like so much fun to film haha. Really love the gunne sax dresses! They look super super comfy ❤
I see the black Christmas tree shoes as Eiffel Tower shoes. 😘
Lovely. I love the sheer green dress too. XXXXXX
So fun & pretty! Each one is a favorite. Love your happiness as you modeled each one better than a pro. I still like to dress for an occasion or just for me......sadly I was unable to past down to my family as it was passed to me. Oh sigh! Merry & Joyous Christmas. 🎄🎄🎄😊
All so nice! Great ideas! And I love the red and white.
You're so happy plus bonus LION!
I still haven't recovered from ten retail Christmases, but maybe I can put something red together with something green for Christmas Eve at my dad's.
😮 Christmas looks beautiful
All these outfits are very festive and look so good on you! 💖😀🌟
I loved all the looks. I loved the Mary Janes & I WILL OWN several American Duchess boots after I have surgery on my foot so I can wear shoes at all. I am seriously thinking to alter several things I just don't like the look of after watching so many of your other vids. One being a top from Lane Bryant I paid almost $60 for & after one cool wash/air dry it shrunk so weird no plus sized person would appreciate the weird length of the bottom or sleeves. I think several layers of a pretty black lace will do it!
I love all the vintage sweaters and sweater vests that was my era of growing up and Lion is just a delight 🥰 can I also say how nice it is to see someone wearing tights/hose I am all done with bare legs
Thanks! I always wear tights in winter. My legs would be way too cold otherwise!
All of these outfits are so fun and festive and joyous!! What an amazing look book you have put together!! Happy holidays 🎄
The white blouse with red dots makes me think of Valentine's day. Of course it works for Christmas too.
I can't get over how gorgeous that green party dress is! It suits you so well, too! I would 100% get and wear one in my size, if I ever went to parties where people dress up, but that is not my life, especially since the pandemic ...
Thank you! I've worn it to go to the theatre more than anything else! 😉
I bought that green dress from Eshakti because of you. I can't wait to get it!
Oh yay, I hope you love it as much as I do! ☺️
I just started the video and I'm already 🤩 with the outfit. Beautiful!
Very festive looks! Happy holidays.
Hahah, Miss Frizzle! I think it was my least favorite outfit in ways, but you are right that it would be perfect for an “ugly sweater” type gathering, or something where you were cosplaying Miss Frizzle or just being kitschy to the max.
Otherwise, I ADORE that black skirt with the green underskirt. That just begs to be danced in! And otherwise, your snowflake table cloth jumper and your blue Gunne Sax dress are probably my favorites. So fun, and not so very Christmas (I’m not Christian either, so I like things that are a bit more generic winter … not to mention that you can wear them longer through the year.)
Your jewelry and accessories are always on point. I think I’m not as fond of the red belt with the green floofy dress, because it reads a bit too orange-red in comparison with the necklace and headband. If it were me, I might want a slightly darker and bluer red, or maybe something to match the spots in the dress. But it certainly works ok, and I agree that the pop of red is a nice touch to take it from a more general fancy dress to a specifically holiday-time one.
So cute, all of it! Makes me wish we lived closer so I could bring my doll to tea with you sometime! LOL
Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!
Thanks! Happy holidays!
All lovely! Last one is breathtaking!
Happy holidays!
Thank you! Happy holidays!
You are always so nicely put together. Every outfit is lovely.
I had forgotten how much I loved the bicycle sweater! I really must add it to my list of things to make!
I love your house!
I really love what you do but if it were me i would add 3 to 4 inches to the skirt length.
Ahh outfit 10 is the perfect length x
Such fun looks!
I LOVE outfit 5!! I sooo would wear that at work for a festive Hanukkah look!! 😍 And I LOVE your American Duchess boots! (While I don't have a pair of them, I do have have 2 pairs of white boots that I could pair with that outfit! 🥰) I also LOVE your Gunne Sax dresses! All your outfits are really pretty, but those are my fave looks! ❤
🎄 Happy Holidays! 🎄
Thank you! ❤️
@@LadyRebeccaFashions You're welcome! ❤
I love all these looks, they are so super cute! I love those red shoes, but I'd be so worried I wouldn't get enough wear out of them outside the holiday season. I desperately want those waist coats, but me and buttons have some issues if it's too tight as I keep getting gapage. And I can't seem to find good belts as I don't seem to have a waist anymore as it is.
I do have this cute white sleeveless dress I want to wear this green shirt under, and I'm not sure it I should pair it with the red skirt I have as an extra layer or leave it as is and add my brown velvet leggings. And I love big bows in my hair, so I have a cute hairband with a red bow. It's the most recent holiday outfit idea that has been kicking around in my head. Now to find out if it's as cute on me as I'm imaging!
Happy Holidays!!! 😊
Thanks! And you won't know till you try it on! 😉 Happy holidays!
You are just so beautiful and fun!!!
Thank you!
Very enjoyable! How do you keep your cotton dresses from looking faded over time, especially the ones you love wearing a lot?
Keep on sewing and sharing!
Thanks! Honestly, I've only ever had a fading problem with one dress (my orange and black check pinafore from last year), and that one is definitely a fabric quality issue. I don't put any of my dresses, blouses, or skirts in the dryer, so that might help, and they only get washed if I spill things on them or if they smell, not after every wear.
This was so fun. I love your holiday wardrobe. I'd love to have it, so glad to see your plaid christmas dress again, one of the first videos of yours I ever watched. Can you give me name of your comfy shoes. I can't understand because of hearing problems. Happy holidays.
Thanks! The brand is called Aravon. I believe this is an older model of shoe, but most of their shoes are super comfy.
Thank you very much.
Can we get a video of your Christmas sweater collection?
Maybe I'll do that as next year's video!
You are so cute!
Omg sweetie I just got shown this and found your channel. You are so beautiful and I love your figure and style! Due to personal baggage I wear tucked in tops always unless I belt a dress and I especially like to do it with skirts so those are my favorites in this haul but I love every piece and outfit and you look stunning! I can’t wait to explore your channel! (Shriek delightedly) ❤😍😻🥰 ps the tops you have tucked in here are they like normal length and not too long or short? I just prefer not to tuck in a dress or have the back keep coming out 😉
Thank you! And yep, all my tucked in tops are just normal length tops.
Outfit 1 looks lovely on you. And outfit 11 is just sooo perfect 👌
I'm not from the US so i really don't get the gunnesax thing, i don't think that type of dress is flattering or stylish on anyone. To me it looks very dated and frumpy but i may be missing something?? Ok i feel really bad now as clearly this is something important but i still don't think i have ever seen anyone look good in this style. I watch a lot of US sewing stuff where everybody makes this style, sorry i just don't get it. Can anyone explain?
They're a throwback to styles from the 1970s and 80s that were very cottagecore, so when cottagecore came in a year or so ago, so did Gunnesax and other prairie style dresses. They're also super comfy.
Christmas was originally a pagan Holiday so we don't have to be Cristian to love Christmas lol
My thoughts exactly! 😉
@@LadyRebeccaFashions - Christmas was not a originally a pagan holiday. But indeed you don't have to be Christian to love Christmas.
Christmas was not originally a pagan holiday. Christmas happens to fall near a pagan holiday using some calculations based on Scripture evidence. It's a best guess on the day of Jesus birth. The name itself is a shortening of "Christ's Mass" in English. It is a uniquely Christian holiday or "Holy Day".
That said, you don't have to be Christian to enjoy Christmas. Have a Merry one! 🎄🙂
