      First let me State this, I am a subscriber, I like the channel, I shared the channel, and I watched many of arons videos
      Hollywood most of the time I find much of the information repetitive, way more detail than is necessary to explain the point of view we can grasp the ideas with less I don't know what you call it information or depth
      And most of the videos are between 5 and 10 minutes too long

    this has been a very informative series so far, it would be great to organize these in a youtube playlist for ease of sharing and future reference. The RDS/dot drawings superimposed on the plate rack were a helpful and appreciated addition.

    Using the eyes to transition and then allowing the sight picture to catch up does in fact remove optic overshoot of the target. Works with both rifle and hand rds. Great video as always

    Seriously. I'm convinced no one on the internetz understands (and can explain) red dot usage on pistols as well as you can. Once my P-10 is finished getting milled for an RMR I'll be checking my schedule for one of your red dot pistol classes.

    Another great lesson explained. Your videos have helped me speed up the transition immensely. Feeling more confident every practice. Thanks Aaron. CZ USA P-10 OR w/ Trijicon RMR Type 2 (3.25)

    These demonstration/instruction videos already saved me so much frustrations before heading out to zero my new scope! I just unboxed my Viper! Thank you so much!

    That visual illustration is extremely useful. I'm 250 rounds into the dot and I'm probably not even comfortable carrying it. It is an interesting learning curve.

    Your videos are so well done and explained thoroughly. Thank you for the great content. The RDS movement is so tempting but is a big price for something I might not like or shoot well. It seems that it has advantages over distances of 10-15 yards but then for self defense purposes that doesn't statistically make sense. I need to shoot one first and see if it's something I would like. Again, great job and thank you for taking the time to make these informal videos.

      Watching his first video he was faster and more accurate at close range with iron sights so that is what I was referencing. I really need to find someone who has a 1911 with an RDS since that is what I carry and shoot the best. That unfortunately is hard lol. That new Wilson Combat Comp with the Trijicon included is very tempting. Thanks for your input.

    Hey Aaron, first off- great material! Thank you. I have suppressor height sights and after zeroing my RDS the dot is in the rear notch at full presentation. The notch and post are pretty level although I remain threat focused. While managing recoil I sometimes lose the dot. Should my goal be to present the dot in the middle of the window, even if the post is not level with the rear notch? Hope this made sense, and thank again.

    • @RisingFear
      @RisingFear 6 років тому +1

      Yes, have your dot preferably in the middle of the window. One of the benefits of a red dot is to lose less time aligning ironsights with the target. Other benefits of using it that way are, threat focus and better visibility of the target and whats around it.

    Aaron, how in the world do you shoot so flat/fast? I tried at the range yesterday to put shots on target with 115gr black pack and I was all over the place due to recoil. I was trying different grips and pressure forces and couldn’t figure out how you do that. What’s your secret??

    Aaron, I bought a RMR type 2 RM07 that will be going on my edc. What is your advice on how to control the brightness of the RMR so that it is not too bright or dim when you need it? (I know you're not a fan of the auto mode so I am considering that to be ineffective)

    • @tylerstrunk1072
      @tylerstrunk1072 6 років тому

      Emmanuel Goldstein do you not have any issues with the dot washing out with varying light situations or when using a WML such as the TLR1 HL? I thought that was the reason Aaron disliked the auto mode.

    • @stotzmitchell
      @stotzmitchell 6 років тому

      Tyler Strunk Yes you will have Dot wash out with a WML.

    Fewer rounds...not less! If you can potentially count it, and it isn't money, it's fewer. You can count rounds.

    Put the thing on the thing and pull the thing. A tad pedantic by about 23 minutes.
