    Wow! You are so lucky to have a daughter who inherit your genes. She is very creative. If you ever make kueh lapis she can have more egg whites, for meringue. I usually made it in my younger days and less sugar.

      In fact my daughter has sweet tooth, not me. We Singaporean prefer savory baked cookies. I often cut down on the sugar in most of my recipes.

      I just don't have the time and patience to cook pineapple jam, with instant pot, it much faster. You might need to remove some water/juice before you cook them. Dough if chill in fridge can be harden and break easily. I Chillied it just for a few minutes. Hope this help.

    Wow! Was looking for a recipe for pineapple filling in pressure cooker , and you have the only recipe on youtube!! Thank you, I'm going to try your recipe soon! The traditional stirring for 3 hours is a long time....

      @@esteeinsweden Hi Estee, I made the filling! I took much longer than 10 mins though, as I didnt pour away the excess juice haha. Think I took about 40 minutes, but it was very hands off and much easier than the traditional method! Thanks for the tip on using food processor instead of blender too!

    Which function on your pressure cooker did you use to make the jam?

    • @esteeinsweden
      @esteeinsweden  Рік тому

      I think it was the highest level stew or meat.

    Hi, the recipe said to cook jam for 10 min in the cooker but in the video it says 30mins. Which is correct?

    • @esteeinsweden
      @esteeinsweden  3 роки тому

      Rachel, follow the recipe. I over cooked the pineapple for 30 mins, you don't need to cook that long because the pressure cooking method is too powerful, 10 minutes is enough. I must had missed telling you guys that in the video. Hope yours turn out great, thanks for letting me know. 🥰
