Love the shots of Willow “inspecting” your truck there at the end. 😂😂
Love Willow and her climbing action.
I wish companies would sell blueprints cheap so i could make my own for myself
Another job well done. Can't wait to see what is next. Have fun, the heat is coming!
Looks great Pooter! Love seeing you add more parts from ORD.
I built my own when I was at that point in my build. I didnt know they sold these.
great product, I have one on Subzila and the competition style engine mounts as well, I kept eating the stock style mounts. Great addition for any square body. Coming out of Hattiesburg MS.
Another awesome video. Thanks for the info. I need to find one for 89 F350, I’ve searched but don’t think anyone is making them. 👍👍👍👍👍
Between ORD, DIY4X, and RUFFSTUFF, you can't go wrong with any of their Squarebody products. I have a mix of em all on my 77 stepside
Hi Does Willow think your backyard is her sandbox?
Can you show your fuel filler neck, mine is in the bed as well but way below the top of it
Google search Dayco fuel filler hose. That’s what I used.
Great video. I feel like I have 1/2 of the ORD catalog on my K5 Blazer as well. Great products. I'm in the process of pulling the engine out of my truck for a rebuild and I was on the fence about getting this crossmember. I think this video put me over the edge . My drag link is making slight contact with my crossmember too, but I'm really looking forward to the additional stiffness it will provide. Quick question on your crossover steering....With that steering and the custom ORD leaf springs, do you get a lot of noise when trying to turn the wheel at very slow speeds? Like say in a parking lot or something. I have that same setup and it makes a good bit of noise when turning like that. ORD says its the military wrap on the front of the springs due to the side load caused by the new steering geometry. I guess its not a concern, but I was wondering if you experienced that as well. Keep up the great work on that truck!
If your even thinking about the crossmember, just do it. It’s even easier with the engine out, you don’t have to cut the factory piece in half then. As for noise, which noise are you referring to? I do get a clunk once in a while that I’m not sure where it’s coming from, but that’s all I notice.
@@PootsGarage The noise is like a clunking/popping noise. I noticed when standing still and turning the wheel back and forth, there is a decent amount of lateral movement in the axle. Seems like the noises are coming from the leaf springs. Obviously with leaf springs there is no track bar to oppose those steering forces, so I guess it is what it is. Just wondering if you were experiencing the same thing since you have all of the same equipment. Thanks!
