  • This week on the K30 Trail build, we rebuild and strengthen the rusty/cracked bedside and tailgate attachment points using ‪@Lmctruck1‬ parts and our ‪@MillerWelders‬ Multimatic 220.

i built an 86 K20 with parts mainly from LMC and i will NEVER use that company for parts ever again. they ship orders as cheaply as possible resulting in notorious delivery delays, and their parts are cheaply made and the sell them for top dollar. switched to brothers trucks/Amazon for the remaining parts and havent had any issues since

Nice job on repairing the tailgate. I need to replace the hinges on mine too. Luckily I don’t have the rust to deal with.

Nice upgrade on the YT cam bro, now you need to get a bracket to mount on the drone

Like how the build is progressing. Also, the camera is interesting. Been looking at YT reviews for a couple of weeks, especially the comparisons.

The only real downside seems to be that it is fragile, So I need to be careful with it.

Not sure if you know this but those Chevy box’s are completely bolted together. Meaning you can take the box sides, front, inner fenders and everything off of the floor by just unbolting parts. There’s just one little tack connecting the rear vertical posts to the floor but yours was already broke apart.

The reinforcements that you did will obviously be way stronger than it was but if you ever wanted to change a bedside or disassemble in the future it would be very difficult now

@@PootsGarage My dad had one when I was Growing up. it ran on both gas or propane. If we were going long trips, he would run propane to save gas (propane was cheaper at the time). When he needed power, he would switch to gas. it cud go anywhere, we called her Big Red. When I saw your rig, it reminded me of that one, so I subscribed right away.
