PRO TIP: If you ever feel that someone is following you, take 4 right hand turns (or left hand turns). That puts you in a circle. Most people will turn off if they are trying to get to a destination, but if you are being followed they will continue on the right hand turns. Drive DIRECTLY to the nearest police station, hospital, or to a crowded area.

Absolutely.. I'm a firm believer in this.. I remember one time I was out shopping with my mom and it was a long busy day and she wanted to pop into a store, so I told her I'd sit in eyeshot of her on a bench outside the store and wait as my feet were killing me. Though I could see her and she could see me the bench was a distance away.. more than 10m if I had to estimate.. A guy joined me moments after she walked away, eating a pie and while it didn't bother me that he was eating it, or sitting next to me.. even though I was busy on my phone and watching my mom, I could sense he was watching me, and not in a flattering way either.. suffice it to say I was that thoroughly creeped out and not happy with this situation that I got up, joined my mom and to this day I'm glad I did. I could never explain exactly why but he gave off seriously creepy vibes and I wasn't going to stick around to figure out why. So, if at anytime, anywhere no matter how dumb you think you'll look, feel or seem - if something feels wrong, someone is giving you bad vibes, leave, walk away, do what you must but trust that instinct!

It's not fair to say that meth CAUSED them to do it, because if that was the case every meth addict would be a murderer, too. It is safe to say that for someone who is already inclined towards violence and murder, it would probably only bring out a much more extreme version of that in them.

@@lukedarling6179 If you have underlying mental issues then drugs are more likely to bring those types of experiences on. I have never heard of someone who is otherwise of normal/sound mind who smoked some weed and went into a psychosis. Maybe K2/synthetic weed, but not cannabis itself. ONLY if there is already something underlying would that be possible. Acid on the other hand I think would be more likely to drive an otherwise healthy person (mentally) to psychosis, but still, the more fragile the mind is to begin with the more likely it is to happen. Point is, I think if anyone has a psychotic episode on cannabis for sure, that's because they already had an undiagnosed issue under that. And when it comes to acid, I still think what I am saying is mostly true but between the two of them I guess acid would be more likely to trigger psychosis. Basically this is why I tell people if you suffer from depression or mental problems, probably best to steer clear of psychedelics like shrooms and acid.

And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21: 3)
      And:
Let go of anger and abandon rage; Do not become upset and turn to doing evil. 9 For evil men will be done away with, But those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth. 10 Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there. 11 But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. I noticed that there was a car slowly driving beside me, so I turned and looked at him and it was a guy. Right after I looked at him, he said, "hey do you need a ride? I can get you home" at that time, I was on a road where there was no people usually walks around and I lived in province where there was more trees and more a secluded kind of area. Then I remember that there was a lot of rape and death accidents on that road where a couple of victims were young girls getting rape and thrown out there dead and cold. So what I did was, I ran as fast as I could and made sure that I stopped where there was a couple of people around. I talked this about my parents and they were thankful that I was safe. For whatever reason, as a child and a young woman, I was a magnet for would be rapists, abductors and pedophiles. I was molested, trapped several times in the basement, by a man in my building at age 9 and I had eyes in the back of my head after that.
My gut ALWAYS told me when I wasn't safe, and I always listened and a combination of that ,and the fact that i become a wild animal if I think I am cornered, saved me from all the attempts.
You would think this would cease when a woman gets older but don't fool yourself.
I was stalked in my early sixties by a man I met via an organization. He was starting a business similar to mine and I gave him my business phone #, but immediately began to feel I was not safe. After seeing him at a meeting, instead of allowing him to walk with me back to where I was staying in NYC, I went instead to a bookstore, and he went his way..only to start texting incessantly. I should let him cook me dinner, I should meet his son and on and on. Something prompted me to have a friend in corrections run a background check on the guy. He had done two years in prison for rape and robbery. I showed his mugshot to all the doormen on the street, wore disguises and took different routes any time I was in this area and eventually shook him.
Then, at age 67 right after my husband died, I was stalked by a man I knew . I made him very sorry he messed with me.
All this to say , if you feel something is not right in your gut, especially if you are a woman of ANY age, LISTEN to that feeling because it will save your life.
I also have a gun now. Enough already!

I crossed paths with these 2 speed freak killers back in 1987 or 88. I was about 19. They were drinking and playing pool at the Coloma Club in Lotus, California. They came up to talk to me and the bartender shoed them away. Saying to me that they were druggies and to stay away from them.
I remember them because I got a freaked out feeling looking at Wes's eyes, which I've never forgotten.
Wes was loud and obnoxious and Lauren was quiet. People seemed to know who they were. At least the bartender did but I never saw them again until their faces were plastered on TV 10 or 20 years later. Is it possible that they lived near the American river in Coloma at the time?

Crazy ... I grew up with Loren's sons, both were very nice, down to earth people, one ended up committing suicide.. I knew their grandfather, he was a decent man ... It's a shame...
If it was them who approached this woman, she wasn't the only one who got away. The way they ultimately got caught, was they followed a woman in broad daylight to he rural home with a long driveway, her husband happened to be home. She called her husband saying a car is following her into their property and he approached the car outside with a firearm. They then peeled out on the pavement and left. The Sheriffs at the time were on to Wesley and Loren and were able to dive deeper into the investigation, it all started with matching tire marks to one of their vehicles..
Shermantine's son is absolutely nuts, I see him walking past my job almost every day with a dead squirrel or raccoon on his shoulder yelling random things..

Okay, I love this comment section and everyone sharing their stories. If you think about it, pbly most of us have (almost) been in some sort of sketchy situation, maybe even without realizing it.. I remember one specific incident where my best friend and I were walking home after a night out. It was maybe about a 20 min walk. Shortly after leaving the main streets, I noticed a man walking behind us. My friend was oblivious and kept talking but I wanted to see if he was following us, so I bent down and pretended that I had to re-do my shoelaces. (thinking back on it, maybe not the smartest idea, if you come across the wrong person). He then actually stopped right beside us, started up a conversation and started walking with us. While my friend was talking to him, I mostly didn't join in on the conversation, only when addressed directly - he wasn't exactly unpleasant or anything but I just had a weird feeling. He kept walking with us the whole time and when we reached the last bigger intersection before really going in the direction of my friend's house, I stopped and told him in a firm but not unpleasant tone that I wanted to go on without him. I don't remember my exact words but that was the basic message. It was a little awkward but he left us to go on alone and we got home safe. Later on I told my friend that I didn't want the guy to know where she lived. I don't know if anything would've happened and obviously he wasn't the "worst" kind of person to come across, maybe he really was just being talkative or nice or coincidentally going in the same direction or whatever but better save than sorry. Even if it was a weird feeling, cutting him off like that, I felt so much better after - and that's the thing I think. We often don't say anything in situations we're not feeling comfortable in because we think it might make a situation awkward but that really shouldn't hold you back from standing up for yourself, in whatever kind of situation.

When I was 15 years old I was held at gunpoint by an acquaintance (friend of a friend who i was cordial with). It was outside of my family home at the neighborhood park and I was with my best friend at the time (male, 16yo) and we are still friends to this day. My best friend and I were walking on the way to an eye doctor appointment I had nearby, and my other friend (the guy who was friends with the acquaintance) called to see if I wanted to hangout. The two lived together nearby and I explained I had an eye doctor appointment but we could hangout afterwards. They ended up coming to the eye doctor with us and my best friend, my other friend, and the acquaintance waited for me to finish in the lobby. Once I was done, we walked back to my house. We hungout in my garage because my parents weren't home and they were unfamiliar with the acquaintance so he wasn't allowed in my house. I made pizza rolls for everyone and stole some Jamaican rum from my parents which we started drinking. We ran out and my friend + the acquaintance let us know they had found an abandoned storage closet behind an apartment complex behind my neighborhood where they had wine. We walked there and got the wine and walked back to my house. Everything was going fine. We were pretty intoxicated just laughing and joking. Suddenly, the acquaintance pulled a gun out of his backpack and started yelling at all of us. The acquaintance and the friend started to argue. I was crying and didn't know what to do. So we guided the guy with the gun away from my house towards a park in my neighborhood. It was broad daylight and eventually the guy started to hold the gun to his own head and making suicidal comments. We tried to talk him down near the street/sidewalk and grass while slowly moving towards the park. After a while he stopped holding it to his head and started screaming at us again. The park was fenced in and he was pointing the gun towards me and my friend and he was screaming at me saying stuff like "a girl like you would never give me the time of day." My best friend stood in front of me and started telling the guy if he was going to shoot me he had to shoot both of us. I was hysterical at this point obviously. My best friend kept talking to him and finally the guy grabbed the container filled with wine and began chugging it. At this moment both my best friend and other friend wrestled him to the ground. The other friend got a hold of the gun and the guy started chasing him, so the friend shot a round into the sky to scare him away. He unloaded the gun and threw the bullets in a nearby pond. The guy took off and we found out later he ran to his friend's girlfriend's house. My friend and best friend walked me home because their shoes were still at my house. I was in a consensual sexual relationship with the friend in the past (not my best friend) and asked him to come inside with me as I was beyond drunk and didn't want my parents to get mad because they arrived home while we were gone. He came inside with me and sexually assaulted me. My best friend laid in the grass in my backyard because the cops were circling my neighborhood and me & my best friend had been in trouble with the police for marijuana at the same park not all that long before this happened. My friend ran home once the cops left. The guy in my house asked me to make him a sandwich so I went upstairs to do it as I was so intoxicated I didn't even piece together the assault at the time plus I was extremely traumatized from the events earlier in the evening. My dad realized how drunk I was and made the guy leave my house. The next day at school the police interviewed me and my best friend and recieved a one page written statement from both of us. Neither of us were charged with anything due to the circumstances. The two other guys were both arrested. But the guy who held us at gunpoint was only charged with ONE count of intimidation with a deadly weapon and I believe an alcohol violation. We were never spoken to from the police again. Never fully formally interviewed. And he should've had 3 counts of the charges. My parents obtained the police report and it was so misguided. I never told anyone about the assault except my best friend until my freshman year of college. I didn't even remember telling my best friend earlier but when I told him in college he explained he already knew. My parents grounded me for like 9 months and we have never talked about it again. I was so traumatized the incident still comes up in therapy sometimes to this day. I had reoccurring nightmares. The guy was released after a couple months and has many adult charges of violent crimes. One almost identical to what he did to us. One of the craziest parts is thinking about how he had the gun the entitle time in the waiting room of the eye doctor. He was deemed mentally ill and I can't imagine what would've happened if he would've snapped while there.

My woman's friend that lived a few hours away out of nowhere called wanting to come down and visit but as soon as he walked through the door I had a horrible feeling in my stomach. He stayed for a couple days and he had been taken to the PD for using a credit card that didnt belong to him but it had been dismissed that it was his roomates and he had explained it away somehow. But eventually we had asked him to leave cause that feeling was keeping me awake and it only had gotten worse after that credit card incident, then later that day the cops showed up looking for him. Turned out he had brutally killed the man he had been living with with a claw hammer because he was being kicked out.

I've actually been assaulted by a tweaking maniac while sitting in my car in a dodgy neighbourhood, I told the police and that was that. No need to make assumptions to his motive or connect him to a murderer based on very loose details. It doesn't even necessarily match their mo.

The anonymous victim's interview was so unnecessary. She was exaggerated the story, she wasn't even sure who they were, and the way she kept saying "you know" to filled up the sentences just makes it sounds like she made the whole story up.

Sometime in the 1990s in Sacramento California at the Jazz Festival, I walked into one of the bars. The place was packed but there was a table with 3 people signaling to sit there. No one was festive looking at all. I had a few beers by then and wanted another one. There was a man and a woman sitting side by side, He bored a hole through me and she looked like an empty shell;l. The other man sat to the 0and he hadn't looked at me. I was there no more than a minute or two when the man and woman both got up to use the restroom I thought. I'm turned to watch them as they disappeared around a wall. The other guy instantly grabbed my shoulder and spun me around to face him while shaking me a little and he said RUN! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE"RUN HIDE DONT LET HIM CATCH YOU! I knew I had to plow everyone down by the door.PLowing through the people When I made it to the street a bus was pulling away. I pounded on the side, the driver opened the door. I had my monthly bus pass, I think that helped save me also. If the driver had to stop to read the date with me standing there. I ducked down in the seat. Peeked out a little and there the guy was just a few seconds ahead of the bus. I saw the look of pure rage as he used his balled fist to punch his other hand. I had no idea who these people were but I knew that man saved my life. I always wonder why he save me. Had he overheard the and wanted to warn? Was he one of them and had a change of heart?

Can’t believe you included that random woman’s unsubstantiated story. Interesting she can remember GREAT detail of both Mens physical descriptions off a 2sec encounter, but can’t describe the car they drove whatsoever. Not to mention how unreliable eye witness accounts are, and peoples tendencies to embellish or flat out lie for attention.

I will be honest, I’m very sceptical of the woman’s story; especially considering the popularity of the case. I don’t 100% doubt it, but I certainly don’t believe it. She did some research and said that it looked like Loren, so I am confused that she didn’t get police to investigate the area and collect incriminating evidence. It’s sad because more people could have been saved if so. Nonetheless, her argument towards her being young and just seeing it as a scary situation is notable; such as situations regarding bullying in schools.
It is also awful that this does happen to young women, I’m glad that we are somewhat improving this manner as the days go on.

It's most interesting to note that she thought very little of the situation (which she handled very well) until much later when she considered the possibility that they were the Speed Freak Killers. I was disappointed that the video wasted 15 minutes on a story that was most likely completely unconnected to the case they were presenting.
