He accidentally shoot his wife. He accidentally killed her. He accidentally dragged her dead body down to the basement, where he then proceeded to accidentally cut off her head and bury it. They he systematically began to clean up the evidence, doing a piss-poor job of it from all of the bloodstains he left behind, including the spent rifle shell in the yard. And finally, he accidentally took her dismembered corpse to the bridge and posed it on the railing. Yep, totally believable.
Did he honestly believe he was gonna get away with it?? I like the subtitles because I play most of these at 1.5 speed and I can read fast enough. I don't have time to sit through the full 3 hours that some of these (incredible) cases provide.

0:40 Even through the horrors of this crime, I appreciate the small moment of kindness when the stranger passing by in the car offered to stay with the 911 caller while they waited for the police. A little moment of light amidst a display of such tragedy and evil. I’m so sorry for them that they had to see that.
Humans are naturally social creatures. Everywhere you look, there should be signs of this. Humans are truly wondereful. It's these anomalies, and the anomalies who end up deciding the direction of society. But look at you, being empathetic. Even when you know (or hope) both people are okay, you're still concerned, and sympathetic about the emotional harm of seeing someone who has been turned into a naked, decapitated corpse. Humans are fucking cool, 90% of the time. When we're not cool, we're really not cool.
People say social media is bad. But the true evil is anyone trying to make anyone else stop communicating. Some get REALLY screwed up in life. We all jave different reactions to life kessons abd its abuses. But they all WANT to connect with others. All of them. It's odd but gives me hope for the human race. As long as we feel the need to connect and not just listen to our sexist racist grandma's saying they want to go back to the 1950s when spousal abuse was legal and women couldn't have a bank account or even a mortgage without a male cosignature: we'll be fine.

What a nice offer for the lady to stay with the lady who found the body. Although these videos highlight evil people we gotta remember kindness is real
I worked with this dude. He straight came into work after killing her. Even showing up hours early that day, acted like nothing was wrong, casually mentioned his wife was missing but didnt even act bothered about it. Then one of the supervisors drove him to the police station and we hear all this. Dudes a HUGE narcissist.
This video wants to do psycho analysis on crossing your legs but doesn't want to mention the correlation with murder to hunting, when he tried to explain away killing his wife with shooting small animals, and the other lady trying to explain away the body as just a deer. I heard about this guy who shot a big buck wrong and had to track it but by the time he got to it some other hunter took its head and he got a picture of him walking off and he said he called the hunting police and they took all the meat as evidence so so they can use it if the guy tries to enter the head in a competition. Turns out I think they just want the heads to hang on their walls. Theyre not too interested in meat. Probably a clue on why this guy decided to keep her head as a trophy and dump the meat. And why a headless deer hanging off a bridge makes since in backwater Arkansas

I hope and pray that I never do find a body. That being said, I have found a human thumb in the ditch where there was a big firey head on collision and the one guy had been alive but he was pined under the hood of his rolled over car, his buddy tried to help him out but he was too drunk to think ,so as he ran for help he heard the car explosion 😪 the teenagers were having a game of chicken in vehicle's, it was a small town thing, there was a grid road that circled the town, they would both start facing the opposite direction, and the other vehicle was a pickup, this was back when I was 12 or so about,43 years ago. These guys were all drinking, and it was a weekend. They both took off from the same spot, and as they came back around each one of them thought for sure the other was going to swerve , well none did. The pickup driver was decapitated when the impact sent his box through the cab, and his passenger was killed too. So the only one survived had to witness his buddy burn to death, I didn't know them, my brother in-law who grew up in that town did,and weeks after the accident we drove by the scene, the grass was still all burnt so we had a good idea where the car had been. So we walked down to see it up close ,and I actually found a thumb😪 it was charcoal black . Not to be a prick, and I'm sure as Hell NOT trying to excuse his actions, but you and this Jessica woman don't seem to understand that EVERYONE processes their emotions towards the death of a spouse or family member differently. Most people would be visibly upset, but there are some people who don't show any reaction. Most of the time, it isn't anything serious. But during a criminal investigation, this "non-emotional" reaction could potentially expose an innocent person to false accusations. This case here is a perfect example of someone who showed no reaction to a murder and became a suspect when there could've been a chance that he was innocent. Thankfully, that's nothing to worry about with this case. The bastard got into an arguement and it seems like he killed her in retaliation before going a step further by mutilating the body. Despite that, this is still a fucked-up situation that never should've happened to begin with.
@@pmoXotic I understand that. @Mr. Graves I had a somewhat similar experience. When I was 11 back in 2016, my grandmother died in July of that year. She ended up having four heart attacks in a row and was revived during each of those times...then a severe heart attack, which was the fifth one, delivered the killing blow and ended her life. My mom was EXTREMELY upset during the wake and the funeral-but at the exact same time, my reaction wasn't visible. Instead, my reaction was a mental one-because internally, I was actually upset about it.
i think it's always great when the video is less than an hour long, from what I've seen that usually means I can assume the killer is caught/confesses pretty quickly.
My uncle accidentally shot his 14 year old son in the neck cleaning his gun. He called 911, and my cousin died in the hospital a week later. My uncle was charged with reckless homicide, as he failed to check the gun was empty before cleaning it. My uncle hasn’t been the same since (not that I blame him), but what happened was an accident. He did everything right after his mistake, worked with the police, and started a fund at the hospital my cousin died at, that helps victims of hunting accidents and gun crimes with their hospital bills. They do a yearly motorcycle fundraiser for this fund. There is making a horrible mistake and being honest about it, and then there is committing a crime and claiming it’s an accident and losing about it.
What was his sentence? Sorry to ask, but I'm curious. It's a tragic story, my condolences. I also want to gently say that gun safety is very important for reasons like that, so these things don't happen.
@@soundingtheskies so after everything was said and done, he was sentenced to 10 years of probation and 500 hours of community service. It was an accident, and he has tremendous guilt from it. My other cousin (my cousins little sister) has been raised with extreme care, as they live in a pro-gun area of the US, and my uncle never wants her to deal with something like this. He still wants to hunt, the whole family still does (they rely on it for meat over the winter to save money at the store and eat a lot of venison), but he is unable to own or posses a firearm while on probation and this stipulation when he gets off probation (2026)

He even had a few days to clean up but did so terribly. I'd say he was trying to push the body off the bridge but it got stuck and he panicked. What a fool.
The dumb thing is that you can sever a body without consiquences if they can't proof you murdered that person. Like Robert Durst (at least I'd remember it was him), who claimed his friend died some other way and he just cut the body into pieces afterwards

@@sharonthompson672 yep. Narcissist and abusers have something called "black and white thinking" it's a real psychological term, where they either see you as all good, or all bad. So if they see you as bad they literally cannot say a single nice thing about you. If you want to tell if somebody's being honest about somebody or being abusive with a smear campaign, just listen as they paint somebody as 100% bad about a variety of unrelated traits. Like "oh she's so dumb and flirted with other guys, also her feet smell* and so forth. Of course somebody could actually be describing somebody genuinely as all bad because maybe they are, but and abuser will always paint the person they dislike in a bad light. Can't admit a single good thing, just list and list on why they are so bad and feel bad for me. They also will always , always paint themselves as either a victim, or a hero. They are always the one wronged, and they are innocent. They WONT be able to admit they could play a role in things. They can't hold themselves accountable like that. So see if they paint somebody as all bad, and themselves as all good, and in most (not all) situations, that person is probably the abuser.
Very true. One of my parents has narcissistic tendencies. My siblings and I have never caused them harm nor ever talked badly about them to outsiders despite their destructive psychological abuse and even physical thrown at us behind closed doors since we were kids. Yet most of the town sees us (except for my parent) as pieces of shit because they went around telling things about us, especially about me for some reason. Well, not anymore because I stopped talking to them altogether when I was younger, for my own sanity.
@@Pumpkin0_0 that's typical. Narcissistic people will paint whoever they are abusing in a bad light , unless it makes them look good. Hence the golden child. So if you are good at school, it's an extension of their awesome parenting and genetic genius, so you are worthy to brag about. But if you can't bring them the supply they want, they will just slander you. It's very common for people dating narcissist to have everybody else think they are bad and somehow the ones ruining the relationship.

@@jenf6489 I can imagine Hope and their children were walking on eggshells in their family with that p*g of a husband/father there. he had that domineering look about him.
It’s amazing how many times it so happens that a disgruntled husband will decide to clean his gun, whilst forgetting there’s a round still in the chamber the gun accidentally discharges and ends up shooting their wife directly in the back of the head. It’s uncanny! And what makes it even more amazing is that it’s usually after a big fight or ongoing marriage issues.
Skyler Nemetz🤡💩👺, killed his darling young only 19 yrs old wife just EXACTLY as you describe above, only got 13 & 1/2 years in prison on a lesser charge of MURDER as the juror/s apparently believed he did so by accident.
Those are some unusual circumstances. Accidental shootings. Though they can happen, reckless people being the idiots they are, it more often than not is NOT an accidental shooting. Case in point. I always give a person the benefit of the doubt until I hear the story. If I'm not there, I can't know for sure what happened, no one can except a witness. Nevertheless, some tell stories that defy logic. When that happens, you should CALL BULLSHIT ON THEIR LYING ASSES. Case in. point.
Also they probably do not even think that while they are trying to look innocent in the interrogation room that detectives are already on the case by finding evidence etc.
The way he just casually talks about his marital issues after just finding out his wife had been killed is appalling. Even if the two didn't have a good relationship. I feel like even if an ex was found hanging off a bridge with his head cut off I would be way too freaked out to bitch about our old relationship issues during the interrogation, much less my current partner. That enough should be proof he did it lol edit: because people are idiots in replies: im exaggerating obviously it's not damning proof that should be used in court to sentence someone with no evidence or anything. it's just suspicious as all hell.
This guy is beyond sick. He went out of his way to disrespect his wife in every possible way. He cut her head off, taking away from her her most representative part, and then he broke her arms and threw her on a brige where her body would be visible as if she was an old broken doll. He didn't only kill her, he made sure to robb her or any humanity left she had because she started rebelling to his abusive ways
Id like to personally thank this channel for teaching me so much about lying indicators and how to spot them. Basically teaching all of us red flags to watch for and avoid.
Ok. I'm so confused. Why wasn't the fact that his wife's decapitated body was shoved under the bridge in a gory, disrespectful way, addressed !? If that doesn't show how malicious and intentional his acts were, I don't know what possibly could! This man is revolting!!
A lot of people really will just tell on themselves if you let them. One of the most important techniques interviewers can use is to know when to be quiet and let the silence hang heavy in the air and weigh on someone's conscience. Nine times out ten they'll want to fill that silence and oftentimes they'll just give themselves away.
these types do because they are narcissists and think they are smarter than they really are. he thought he was slick calling and saying omg i'm worried about her, please find her! like 2 hours after he placed the body on the bridge.
As a journalist, I can tell you this is one of the best, if not THE best, ways to get information out of a reluctant source. Politicians, like criminals, are especially susceptible. Like most people, they hate silence. And like a lot of people, they love to talk -- especially about themselves.
This made me so emotional. I can’t even imagine what those people went through who found her, and for the lady to offer to stay with her was so kind. Those poor children 😔
The more of these interviews I watch the more respect I have for the detectives... Such patience, such perseverance... I could never do it..... Thank you for bringing us these cases... Excellent channel
They should have flipped one on Michael and told him his wife just walked into the police station reporting him missing. And then see what his reaction is. And if a family member of mine was found I’d be freaking out of control with grief etc
Let me get this right. 1. The son is no good and mooches off family 2. Michael kicks the son out and tries to cut him off 3. The mom keeps helping their son anyways 4. The couple’s property and money more than likely goes to their next of kin which also includes their son 7. The son is still being taken care of Great job Michael. You worked this out really well.

I’ve never been a troublemaker, but my mom always told me that if I found myself in an interrogation room I needed to say one of two things. The first was if I were underage, “Call my mom”. And the second was any other time, “I want a lawyer”. She worked in the courthouse and she knew all the tricks cops play, and only a fool speaks without a lawyer, even an innocent one. When my husband beat me up on Christmas Eve while I was 7.5 months pregnant in a high risk pregnancy one of the cops asked me if I hit him. Yeah, because me, being 5’7 and pregnant would go after a man that was 6’2, almost 200 lbs and raging drunk?
I recently heard a rather interesting and cunning story about a man accused of fraud. The police claimed to have found a laptop in his apartment that was used for these fraudulent activities. The defendant, however, denied ever seeing the laptop before. In an attempt to clear his name, his lawyer requested to inspect the laptop to see if it had any of the defendant's personal markings on it. As the defendant examined the laptop, he touched it all over and concluded that it did not belong to him. Little did they know, this clever maneuver had a hidden purpose. By having the defendant handle the laptop, his fingerprints would be all over it. The lawyer then turned the tables on the police, accusing them of planting the laptop in his client's apartment in order to frame him. This story highlights the complexity and ingenuity that can sometimes be involved in legal proceedings. It also serves as a reminder to remain vigilant and question the evidence presented in a case, as things may not always be as they seem.
Relationships are complicated and you’re more likely to be killed by your spouse than anyone else but to blame their murder on your child, that’s an evil even beyond that. Instead, my reaction was a mental one-because internally, I was actually upset about it.

I cant imagine what their children went through: the son, finding out his father tried to pin his own mother's murder on him, and the daughter, finding out her dad was a monster - after all, her father murdered and mutilated her mother. Terrible.
Can you imagine growing up with that father? Poor kids
@@jenf6489 No, I sincerely can't imagine. Human cruelty is unfortunately, timeless and ever-present.
@@blackgrl71 It will forever bewilder and frighten me that the human brain has evolved further than any other brain on Earth, and is also capable of such cruelty. That doesn’t exist in other species, yes killing even unknowingly torturing prey, but not this level of depravity and cruelty we as humans are only capable of..
Most unlikely part is that the wife magically got beheaded and dismembered too. Crazy, am I right ?
Those are some unusual circumstances. Accidental shootings. Though they can happen, reckless people being the idiots they are, it more often than not is NOT an accidental shooting. Case in point.
I always give a person the benefit of the doubt until I hear the story. If I'm not there, I can't know for sure what happened, no one can except a witness. Nevertheless, some tell stories that defy logic. When that happens, you should CALL BULLSHIT ON THEIR LYING ASSES. Case in. point.

Morality aside, how can one be so stupid to let officers search your house with clear evidence of your crime all around it? I'm so glad he is stupid.
Same! Micheal wanted to seem innocent, which is probably why he gave permission for police to inspect his home.
That enough should be proof he did it lol
edit: because people are idiots in replies: im exaggerating obviously it's not damning proof that should be used in court to sentence someone with no evidence or anything. it's just suspicious as all hell.
Not so much proof but definitely suspicion!!!

Not a tear of compassion. His wife has been killed & he verbally abusers her after finding out. He had no love for her?
This guy is beyond sick. He went out of his way to disrespect his wife in every possible way. He cut her head off, taking away from her her most representative part, and then he broke her arms and threw her on a brige where her body would be visible as if she was an old broken doll. He didn't only kill her, he made sure to robb her or any humanity left she had because she started rebelling to his abusive ways
What parts do you cut off first?

Ok. I'm so confused. Why wasn't the fact that his wife's decapitated body was shoved under the bridge in a gory, disrespectful way, addressed !? If that doesn't show how malicious and intentional his acts were, I don't know what possibly could! This man is revolting!!
Shoutout to that random lady pulling over and staying w the person on the 911 call cause she was freaked out. Hope they’re both doing ok now
A lot of people really will just tell on themselves if you let them. One of the most important techniques interviewers can use is to know when to be quiet and let the silence hang heavy in the air and weigh on someone's conscience. Nine times out ten they'll want to fill that silence and oftentimes they'll just give themselves away.
Yes, especially extraverts run afoul of verbal diarrhea!
This is so true. I was a bartender and learned how much people love to talk about themselves. 1 or 2 questions and they'll go on and on lol
I would sing like a canary. Awkward silence kills me
these types do because they are narcissists and think they are smarter than they really are. he thought he was slick calling and saying omg i'm worried about her, please find her! like 2 hours after he placed the body on the bridge.
As a journalist, I can tell you this is one of the best, if not THE best, ways to get information out of a reluctant source. Politicians, like criminals, are especially susceptible. Like most people, they hate silence. And like a lot of people, they love to talk -- especially about themselves.
i love how this channel is very vocal. I feel like I can listen to it in the background without watching necessarily.

The way the narrator/body language expert describes everything, is awesome.
Let me get this right.
1. The son is no good and mooches off family
2. Michael kicks the son out and tries to cut him off
3. The mom keeps helping their son anyways
4. Michael finds out about this and decides to kill his wife over this
5. Michael goes to prison
6. The couple’s property and money more than likely goes to their next of kin which also includes their son
7. The son is still being taken care of
Great job Michael. You worked this out really well.
Yeah he should have jus killed the son (this is a joke)
I was thinking the same thing, but in my scenario the son keeps the house throws ragers , blows all the money on dope, loses the house the cars and ends up on the streets again. Nobody wins

@@sentientbeing8738 finding a dismembered body, or witnessing beatings or murders DOES traumatize and make u a victim.
Yeah, because me, being 5’7 and pregnant would go after a man that was 6’2, almost 200 lbs and raging drunk?
hopefully he's your ex husband now.. sorry that happened :(
Hope things are better for you now and you've been able to get away from him. Awful thing to go through.
