I believe the sensor is in the camera, as you can order the new camera and use with an updated a V1 vtx, and you get gyro data
Great overview m8....I watched the Gizfpv clip for a night flight, it's pretty amazing TBH but I know yours will be a more severe test as it's pitch black between home and town...🤔😮😮.
The other most obvious question is how it will perform in daylight?...Right now it looks like a night camera only setup....?...32gb of memory is most welcome though and the giro flow data of course....but what about daylight flying?...🤔😳😳🤔🇬🇧

Fascinating kit. At 1:40, it's nice the changes are highlighted in red. This makes is very easy to see the updates. :)
If you haven't seen, Giz FPV did a nice low light demo of the 0.00001 Lux capability. Might make for some nice pre-dawn flights when wind is least influential, or for wildlife spotting.

Yep, it's the cable that's included which had a large A type plug on it, I cut that off and soldered one of these on amzn.to/403M0rK

Hey man, is there a way we can have a quick chat? I'm having a slight issue with my Walksnail Avatar Pro, but am not sure if my unit is faulty or whether it's a bug. Could do with a 2nd person running a few quick tests to help me confirm, if possible?

Usb-c is a nice connector but obviously not really a good replacement for usb micro considering loads of devices now have fly leads with usb-c because its pcb footprint is so much larger than usb micro.
Well it seems caddx have listened to whingers like me saying there walksnail cameras were letting the system down will be interesting to see how these perform compared to the old camera.
Nice new camera work there! Do you know if the new camera is compatible with the 1st gen vtx?

No SD-card in the VTx so where are the IMU data is stored for Gyroflow?
There's 32GB of storage built in, and you access it through the USB port. It's the same as the original VTX that only has 8GB.

Assuming this will work the same as the original, you can start a recording from the goggles/receiver without a flight controller connected.

Been looking at the ARWing Pro and the Walksnail kit. You already sold me on the T-1Ranger(fantastic plane BTW), and now you're going to work your magic again... Leave me, my fomo, and my wallet alone.
lol I've got a bunch of AR Pro videos up with it flying on analog, it's a great wing for cruising and long flights! I think it will be a great platform for this new Walksnail gear too, should be a good combo.
