There’s a point when you leave earths gravity where the game seems to get really confused with direction. Even with my auto stabilisation I get about 10 seconds of spin before it refocuses on the moon 🌙 Also struggling to get enough gas to thrusters without infinite fuel turned on, even with large pumps.

I had no idea with the space physics aswell, I had 0 pitch control of the vehicle once reaching the space. The X and Z on the rocket seems to still working tho.
Of course the x and Z work because they don’t need air to be redirected, they operate on newtons first law
I would really love to use this but its not on the workshop, i hope you realease it soon because it looks so fun to use and something that fits what i would like to use instead of big bulky rocket ships, keep up the great work man

Hey love your videos why not expand the ship a bit like a escape pod ship on the main ship for incase of a Emergency but much love for your time making these videos love them 🎉

I believe you still have gravity from the earth until you get closer to the moon
nope, its a lot less than on Earth
probably measuring the solar wind, hence the sun behind the wind indicator 😆

have you ever played kirble space program? you should of started leaning into orbit once you got like 80 thousand kilometers above sea level you start going into an orbital turn
That's only if SW has real orbital mechanics. I'm not sure how its working at the moment, whether its just a point and shoot for the moon or make an orbit. I will be interested if this is the case.
Space starts at 70 or 75 km in KSP.. you start your turn at 20km

40k is space. Instruments stop working around that.

The albatross gives me Star Wars vibes, mando's ship (the large one, not the N1 star fighter), it looks really similar, and I love it! Don't rush the series by this, but I hope you finish the ship soon! It looks so fun to mess around with! I'm also hoping it has a stabilization method on release to the workshop for space and the moon because you had ad directory problem, maybe like in trail makers, gimbal jets? Somehow you can do this when you mentioned "Speed sensors in space" for the wind speeds. I'm not sure, I'm no engineer in storm works, I make fuck ass, but I hope these suggestions can push you forward! Sorry for making you read all of this!
P.S, I love your voice, it's so calming but intense for me, probably using the wrong words, but you never seem to struggle much on camera like I would!

space dlc and stormworks may have gotten some bugs at launch, but atleast they did it better than starfield...

How do you go in 3rd person?? im been trying for and hour now and i cant find any buttons or key binds that do it
It's the tab key but if you are in regular career there is no third person.
as a big Kerbal Space Program player and enjoyer, i can confirm. Stormworks is no where near realistic when it comes to space physics. orbit is barely a thing in stormworks and most of it work by just pointing where to go and firing your engines. a bit sad but understandably easy.
