I've got an impossible challenge for you, start in the void 2k meters down and you must make it back to land. You start with a high capacity o2 tank and 4 of those inflatable things that get you to the surface
That's... Not really impossible at all. I can dodge ghost leviathan bites quite easily myself. Those air bladders will get you to the surface pretty quick too.

You can also replenish 15 units of oxygen to your tank with the air bladder if you choose. There's also the slow time it takes to actually die from lack of oxygen. It sounds very possible with oxygen to spare.
I don't know if that would count as sensory deprivation as his senses wouldn't be impacted, he's just bored. But yeah, sensory deprivation is a very very illegal form of torture. Seriously it sounds like hell on earth.

In real life, going beyond 60 meters without proper can be potentially dangerous and life threatening. Not that you couldn’t, it’s just risky. There is no way in hell that you are free diving at 1400 meters
for your moon pool problem, you were trying to place it on the side of a strait pipe, you needed a 3 way or 4, or just put it on the other side of the pipe, pipes link at ends only, not sides, remember this for next time
