Even at the same weight class buddy. A gorilla has four times the density of muscle fibres compared to a human. A similar human would have to be four times as big to be able to do similar feats.

Not to mention the ease with which they can move 600lb's of mass. They can do one arm chin ups at that weight. A 400lb strong man can do a few half rep chin ups for comparison. The strength of these primates is just phenomenal.

I find it interesting that even though male gorillas have a higher level of testosterone, they generally don’t appear to be as aggressive and violent as human males. Sure, they will establish dominance with regard to the way they treat other males within their families, but I don’t see them waging war with other gorillas or other species. They seem to be rather chill under most circumstances.

    • @gabriel-tw8pt

Gorillas are superhumanly brutal and violent in combat. Men need tools and a lot of evil to do to a person what a gorilla would do to them in 2 minutes of rage. Their bodies are quite literally the apex of what our bodies would’ve been if we were designed for strength and power rather than intelligence. Their anatomical proportions are designed so a deadlift for them looks like a human’s deadlift after the bar passes the knee (generally the point it gets easier). Their posterior chain is also designed to be extremely powerful. You can see that just in the size of the gorilla’s glutes.

So when we eat fruit/veggies we only convert it to a carb but when gorillas eat fruit/veggies they convert it to carb and fat.

@@britishpatriot7386 No, dearest. Humans are the primates with the biggest dick literally. Gorillas have a tiny one.

Compare a gorilla's head to that of a human. It's all about the bones.

He's also built WAY different. The immense musculature, the girth of his frame, etc. A gorilla to a human is a Hulk to a Banner.

People eat meat & think they will become as
Strong as an ox or gorilla,
forgetting that the ox and gorilla both eat plants.

@dl30wpb Right! Lol just ask all the pro athletes that go vegan and then end up plagued by microfracture issues and overall loss of muscle mass. But, that isn't to say it's without its merits.

Of course, we have a different digestive system than a gorilla. We're meant to be pure omnivores, while gorilla's huge digestive system is a fermentation vat that extracts nutrients from the most unlikely sources, almost entirely vegetables and some fruits, and really mostly greens and tough stuff like young bamboo.

I remember an account from British colonial soldiers of a Gorilla who went nuts and rampaged in a town. Before being put down it apparently grabbed a local laborer (aka a "coolie") by the arm and swung him around like a child with a plushie before ripping the poor guy's head about 3/4 off his body with the spine severed and only some skin and muscle holding it in place.😬😮
