EP is amazing and has been buffed, no idea what you're talking about lol. Otherwise, I agree with everything else you said. Snapshot on a lightweight is a wasted perk altogether IMO. I think this is more of a personal feel preference because you have so many kills on it lol.
I got full bore, accurized, slideshot, snapshot, stability mstrwrk, smooth grip, I got 70 range and 70 handling and 50 stability with a ballistic mod. The ttk diff is definitely noticeable allowing me to still trade even though I didn’t get the first shot in
I have a rose with EP, 60 range, and 100 stability thanks to elemental capacitor. I’m sure the 100 stability is over kill but high stability also reduces flinch so it’s become my favorite hc by far

I highly disagree with the take on ep . It's a great perk for chip damage and keeping the enemy from healing even if I only hit for 2 hp it stops healing . It still flinches as well

My god roll is slideshot+ep with hammer forged or full bore and accurized rounds! 84(94 when enhanced) range, 48(58) stability even without enhanced slide shot and 62(72) handlind with ballistics mode and ep all together!.. it is %100 god roll!..
It's damage was nerfed. it now does 21 on splash damage so it lost it's range benefit. However it did get its 3 tap back, it was just subsequently nerfed not long after that fix in an update.
My fav I've tried so far is smallbore - acc rounds - elemental - eots - heavy grip. 76 range and 100 stability, have to be void ofc. My thinking with elemental over slideshot is like what you said about opening shot, it's the easiest shot to land and then the stats are gone. Eots does really help for duels also.
EP just hits different - I have been hunting this weapon for a while and have rolls that push as far as 79 range in some cases with snapshot and slideshot.....and I have to tell you the moment I swap back to an EP roll its like night and day on landing headshots. the splash damage is also very helpful and finishing off players who are behind cover. It also makes for some great cleanups from the air. EP has way too much utility to just be passed off for a range increase (or lack there of)

But stability just looks like it's still on 90 on my hunter. And otherwise.. Slide after 0.3s and you'll have another range shot again + stability. I mostly jump or slide through the arena anyway 😅. 60 is the minimum for stability. If you have a handling mod and above 80 Handling ... You don't need snap shot. I'd go with EP every time on a hard hitting weapon. How often do you fight people with 3 anti flinch mods?
slideshot works only on 1 bulet, i'l take rapid hit, it can boost ur stability to the moon and help u win any 1x1. to take good 1'st shot u can take opening shot, or to win ur last tap - eye of the storm
@@SeparerSnapshot has always been my favorite in the slot. But one thing you didn’t mention about Opening Shot is its effect on accuracy cone growth. Which should help bloom on the 2nd and 3rd shot. I do think your “ads is ttk” thing has a lot of merit though and is probably why I always like my snap rolls over others. Good video overall!
EP flinch the living shit out of the others. I'm never losing a fight with EP when I'm hitting the opponents first. Never. I agree the nerf sucks for ttk. But unless you are fighting more enemies at once, EP is still going to give you the edge. Even with anti flinch it's still going to be very touch to try and get shots off on the player shooting you with it.
@W1lly.W The nerf did almost nothing. Decreases your range by less than a meter, never increases ttk on 140s as far as I can tell. It's bad on 120s now but that's about it. Anyone who thinks EP is a bad perk should ask scrims/tourney players if they want to fight an EP hand cannon, lol.
snap doesn't effect your ttk, it only effects ads speed and feel Rangefinder gives you less weapon bounce + a low zoom mod fixes those issues with "flinch" (i personally dont notice it) EOTS is by far best in slot for accuracy, fighting an smg gets really easy because of accuracy cone, other hand cannon fights become easier, your handling gets a boost meaning you can quick swap faster and kill opponent. vorpal is very good for roaming supers its not "useless" and works very well in trials. Poly grip is the best, you get +10 handling with no negative sides, more handling = faster swap speed and faster ads speed. lucky pants are not what you say they are... lucky pants give you a READY SPEED handling buff, it doesn't give you "handling" it gives you quickdraw when wearing the exotic.. i analyzed your gameplay and for your playstyle I would suggest smallbore, accurized rounds, range MW, rapid hit, snap & heavy grip for mods I would suggest 2 in flight compensators and a ballistics mod. @@Separer The handling on lucky pants bit is true, it only gives ready speed multiplier, doesn't affect your stow speed at all, so if you don't have high handling, you're swapping to your special slower and lucky pants doesn't affect it.

@@mistaperfekt no you can enhance it where you would select your mods like Icarus grip or freehand, you just need to get the weapon to level 20 and then enhance the gun to enhanced level 3 which can all be bought through resources

Slideshot is great... but i dont understand why isn't Perpetual Motion x2 good.. its (20 stability, 20 handling, 20 reload) 60 free stat points just for moving which is practically 90% of the time?!?
@@Separer hmm... I feel like i have it proc'd most of the time but I'll have to pay more attention next time. Interestingly enough, I feel like slideshot is a LITTLE over-rated cause its not really proc'd in a decent amount of situations (when you're playing more defensive, and back-pedaling, peak shooting in extended duels, standing on off-angles), whereas Perpetual motion x2 can be proc'd even with Rose stowed and not actively equipped.

If you run small bore, hammer or full bore with accurized and heavy grip handling is 50 or lower so snapshot is quite nice.

Perpetual motion slaps on every subclass but it feels great with tsteps. I have all range barrels and can still always have like 100 handling with it

Basically if someone catches you off guard your reaction time is now a part of ttk making your ads speed incredibly important thats all :)

It’s actually damage reduction now. You can’t three tap if severed with it. EP is objectively mid at best.
