Always appreciate your videos. Just came back after a 8 month break and was stoked when I seen you had a recent video. Trying out hunter and the solar build feels great with ace. Thanks man
If you don't want to sprint all the time and like some extra utility then the prismatic class item with inmost light and either wormhusk or coyote are also really solid. It's a bit more aggressive and really wants the stasis or strand melee to keep a loop going. And if you can pull it off combination blow cranks it up to 11
Nice vid! Ive been having alot of fun on void lucky pants with slayers fang and a stylish starvation setup. Dodge for invis, proc reaper, slayers kills for wallhacks and devour to clutch up 1vX situations. Stylish helps out on multi kills with slayers or to get invis off a smoke kill which i find more useful than neutral invis from dive. I recommend it!
my take on the void invis hunter is Coyote, free reaper opens up class item mod depending on your taste (i put Distribution instead) and i go Wavesplitter (paired with a rose.) It goes so stupid with the artifact mods and the void breach on suppress fragment. I go suppressor nades too. Just be a menace in general with the crazy orb generation and suppress capabilities
With stasis I would perfer the gauntlets that buff the aoe grenade and I'd build into super just to shove it in their face but the fragments are on point. I was actually wondering why they weren't working as well.
I’ve never really clicked with hand cannons in d2 pvp is it worth it to put in the investment to learn how to use them effectively they just don’t seem to fun but I want to try it out
They are really good if youre really good lol if youre average or below that, its probably not worth pulling out a handcannon because literally EVERYTHING kills faster if you miss a shot with em, but the flipside is that learning handcannons drastically improve your gunplay and game sense with almost every other weapon type, the choice is yourss lol
@@jbliggidy123 I consider myself a below average player, and I always play with a hand cannon and I have a good KD, it's all about training and persistence, bro.
@ doesn’t really matter what you consider yourself, it matters what you are, if you can maintain a good kd while using handcannons consistently youre very likely above average.
I wouldn't say I'm above average, because I still make a lot of mistakes, but as I said, everything is practice, once you learn it, it's the most fun weapon to use.
Been looking into this myself as I've been focusing more on PvP. In PvE, 100 resilience always, but in PvP you have to factor in the resilience checks from certain weapon archetypes, especially the most popular ones (ie having 60 vs 70 resilience may not make you any more survivable depending on what you get hit with). Generally, I believe 30, 70, and 90 resilience are the target numbers, with 70 being best bang for buck.
@sev00177 thank you for the response! I've been maxing my resilience but now I can consider moving sine stats around.. What number should I aim to put my restoration at?
Nice to have you still covering the game even in the stale state it’s in currently. You haven’t been playing any other games ? Or just Destiny still? I tried marvel rivals and wish I enjoyed it and it’s a good game and all just not for me. Seems that’s all anyone wants to play though right now lol.
I have been playing some other games. I just wouldn't cover anything else on this channel as of right now. Marvel rivals is cool, but I haven't really played that much of it. like level 11 or something like that.
Faster at traversing the map, faster in a fight? Nah, but lemme tell you, i faced a high mobility titan in comp a few times and that shit is horrifying lol he used strand and when i tell you hitting this guy was like shooting a flea off a sprinting dogs back, i mean it lol i literally had to switch to a scout and sit back keeping range was the only way to survive lol
@@jbliggidy123the only thing hunter is fastest at is vertical movement and assuming their mobility is higher strafe speed. But even at 10 mobility and buffs from certain fragments or perks it's not really night and day to other classes. Mobility is just lacking in comparison to recov and resil. They should make it give small buffs to sprint speed, handling, and reload for every level. Maybe like 1-1.5% per level sounds fair.
@ even an average hunter player can be tough to hit, not so with titans, evasion is built into tje hunter kit, only higher level titan player really utilize movement, and its with makeshift movement abilities that arent even movement abilities, ie certain melee’s like i said titans are fast moving around the map sure, but most titans aren’t utilizing that during a fight
@@PotionTheChemist fair about hunter maybe being harder to hit but that's only slight if true.. And just because a lot of titans don't use it or know how to doesn't mean it doesn't exist. A good titan or warlock will always beat a hunter to the middle of the map unless hunter is using grapple and the others aren't. At higher level you almost have to run grapple because by the time you meat in the middle the titan already has a barricade with over shield shooting at you and the warlocks already threw a nade and are sitting in a rift with a turret. And they don't really have to use abilities to be faster. If you do it right you can use their lifts to build momentum and skate a faster than you normally would. Hunters mostly have utility options to bring to a fight. Titans and warlocks have many defensive and aggressive options and typically have more oppressive abilities.
Solar Hunter without Cryosthesia+LightKnife is like vanilla ice cream without no choco chip 😂 Fresh Take on the build: You can then swap to the new Sojourner with Swash and keep chaining slug bodyshots :D

Also like coyote with void hunter
You don't use reaper?
Yeah coyote my fav for invis too. Mostly to make a flank while invis and still have a dodge while I’m fighting.
@scottparrott5674 me too. It's only once in a blue moon I've seen another invis hunter using that exotic.

Lucky pants over stompees on the thread runner build?
I prefer stompys bc they give you the better jump. But lucky pants are still really good if you are using a handcannon
Wich jump do you use with the thread runner build?
Strafe jump is almost always the best in PVP for every subclass. But for some arc or prismatic builds you could make an argument for blink
So newbie here... is resilience no longer needed?

The best videos
damn no love for the arc hunter ? 🥲💔
It was top 5, at least one of the subclasses needed to be dropped, arc does need a buff though.
“Hunters have Alo-“ *Gets frozen by a diamond lance by a class that’s faster than hunters even with -10 mobility, then punched in the face* 😂

What are you on about, solar hunter is fine without some weird cheese build
@mini_6-50 the solar hunter kit does nothing to give you an advantage in your fights. only heal nade does anything.
Radiant doesn’t give you an advantage in fights?
