Every song i listen to by ST is my favorite. I cannot pick one i like the best. Sure there are songs i like better than others but imo there isn’t a bad ST song
Vessel is such an amazing wordsmith isn't he? I swear he could read aloud from someone's Grandma's shopping list and make it sound like the best thing ever written! According to the credits on Aqua Regia, it was a joint effort between him and II, with II being credited before Vessel, but no matter because they're both brilliant. And I agree, Rain is just sheer excellence. I defy anyone to not be moved by Vessel's (or Vessel and II's) lyrics. I was lucky enough to see them in Manchester, England (I say England, just so it doesn't get confused with the one in New Hampshire) and when I say it's the best gig I've ever been to (and I've been to a few - and worked at quite a few too) I wouldn't be lying and it really was akin to living a religious experience, it was that good. I decided then that when Sleep Token tour again I'm definitely going to go and see them at more than one venue - it needs to be done. And I really hope that when they tour in the States again that you get to see them as well - their audience is probably one of the nicest I've encountered too, it's all top tier wholesomeness.

Sundowning is my favorite Sleep Token album & from that album The Offering is my favorite song. There's something so primal about it that my soul aligns with, nothing else has ever made me feel the way this song does. There's no words.

aqua regia is an acid solution that is commonly used to dissolve gold. one way people recover gold is by soaking circuit boards with "integrated hardware" in aqua regia to strip the gold off the contacts. circuit boards are made of silicon - (silicon ballroms). when the aqua regia solution cant dissolve any more gold it is "saturated". lots of references in this one btw 5:12 my spotify recap was 17k minutes of sleep token out of 22k total minutes for the year....

There are more songs with fire as the base in Sundowning. I'd say it's more: Sundowning - Fire TPWBYT - Water TMBTE - Stratospheric Air or Space Not a whole lot of Earth since it's about Ascending, Starting Over, and Remembering. Next one might be a return to earth to continue on.

Whole album is a gem. I watched them play Aqua Regia live in the 2023 German tour and it shot that song over anything I’ve heard. I hope you can watch them play it live man because it’s an experience and a hell of a vibe
Congrats on finishing TMBTE! Aqua Regia is definitely underrated, such a good song. But I don't think Sleep Token is capable of making a bad one. Are you going to listen through the other albums now?
The album series is a trilogy I think they will be moving forward to a new project now that 3 and 4 are now creative members of the band. Also sundowning is the fall, this place will become your tomb is about the abyss and take me back to Eden is the redemption.
My top 3 from TMBTE are probably Euclid, Ascensionism, and Aqua Regia. It's hard to put them in an order of of 1-2-3 because if one of them is the standard at 10.0, the other two are at 9.9. Honestly, my least favorite one from the album would be 9.6. I just love everything about this album so much.
