St Anger proved nu metal simply didn't fit Metallica's drawn-out lengthy songs. About 20 minutes of repetitive riffing could've been trimmed. As for snare, it was clearly odd and not everyone's cup of tea. As for Architects, I first listened to them on Myspace in 2006 and I knew quickly they were onto something very good. They had another lead vocalist with a more high pitched raspy voice, but that mathcore sound got me hooked and made me interested in metal. Although their two most recent albums left me cold.
This channel is criminally underrated ❤ I love it

St. Anger is my favorite Metallica album, I also like Gore.
I really like Gore tho. :(
Although, I'll admit, the production and mix really sucks.
i like some tracks off the album and if any one other than deftones did it I'd probably give it a 5/10. i just expected better from them
