This build made me unbind the combo of click to move and the basic skill trigger. I put click to move on the front button on the side, it being easily the easiest thumb button to constatly hit. I kept the basic skill trigger on left mouse. Now, I dont accidentally close in on herds i want to stay back from. I think I'll save a second Diablo profile called "ranged" for this, as the default combo left mouse function is still perfect for melee builds.
Barrage feels a little weak once you’re in nightmare 46+ but still did the job. Transitioned to heartseeker but not sure how to temper with all 0/12 masterworking
Dash, shadow step, concealment, puncture, barrage, then shadow imbue. Used this till 100 then swapped cold imbue in for shadow. Damage went from upper 800k per arrow to over 2mil when i respecced lol. Imo you may not be able to fit this tech into starless barrage, but RESISTANT ASSAILANT is sleeper op to me... PERMA stealth during pit clear then i guess the downside is that you lose 25x dmg from not having smoke bomb. Still i prefer living as i play hardcore
I was playing puncture starting off. I am in the campaign on Tier 2. So things are probably much different. But I ended up switching to heartseeker early. I think before level 30 and before getting a lot of stuff, cause puncture felt really weak. It felt much better right away going to heartseeker and then Inner sight. I am curious now how it would be to switch back to puncture at level 50 now.
Puncture is just a faster generator for combo point resources etc, not really main source of damage, i really like heart seeker since you have more range bit more damage but it's much slow to generate resources and main damage should be barrage, but at lower levels when you aren't able to barrage often it might be a better choice once you can temper a weapon for barrage and add branching volleys and acelerate on your gear you will notice a huge difference when barrage clears the whole screen
Puncture plus the codex of power that increases barrage on crossbow will melt everything until like tier 55 in the pit. Use barrage to farm for heart seeker gear
I'm new to Rogue, but isn't Stutter Step just a movement speed bonus you get after critting? If so, there would be no special button sequence at all, given that you are using a skill that can crit and that you actually get crits reliably enough to make investing points into Stutter Step worthwhile. It is probably worthwhile at any crit rate considering how many projectiles we're putting out and how quickly we put them out.
@arojasemploi2 I see. I can only assume you'd need a "force move" bind option for controller in the console options. Since this was a Rogue video I just imagined you were referring to the Stutter Step option available in the skill tree.
@arojasemploi2 nope. I wish I could help beyond suggesting to look for force move in controller options. I don't know if it's there, but that being bound to a key is the only way I've ever Stutter stepped.
You're idea about not having issues with energy as barrage is bullshit. My gear is pretty good and I still get about 4 shots out before I'm out of energy.

Definitely going to try this out when I level a rogue next week during the bonus XP event!
Let me know how it goes!
Same here!
Run poison imbue + shadow imbue for leveling till you get Imbuement charges, then drop 1

Might be a silly question, how are you proccing deadly ambush on the paragon board from the barrage builds without any trap skills?
We dont. We just prepare for the HS swap so you dont need to re-do your paragon board fully.
@@Chronikz Was going crazy trying to figure it out, thanks for answering! xD build otherwise instantly explodes packs, very speedy and fun, thanks!

Does victimize multiplier damage stacks with the basic damage?

oooh okay i get it nowm thanks!!!
Tutorial on stutter step on controller?

Stutter stepping is used with mouse and keyboard to cancel out the firing animation to make you attack faster than normal with bindings and stuff.

@@solarmeateater exactly what I was referring too. Do you know how to do this on PC with controller?

Then how do I do it?
