I gotta get more into the 23mm f/1.4 I’ve really been leaning towards the 33, but that 35mm equivalent is clutch at weddings, you are right!

Oh wow. that's amazing with Borrow Lens. I use them all the time for one off lenses for specific shots i want to do. you make it harder to not want to switch to Fuji lol.

Hi my friend and thanks for the video. I am on the fence for two lenses to finally upgrade my wedding kit and I can see how good you use in your favor these two lenses but more than the 23mm I am very interested on the 18 f1.4 to couple it with the 33 f1.4. I can notice another upgrade I want to make that you already did: you went from your Nintendo Switch with the gray Joycons to the Steam Deck!!! Bests regards from a Venezuelan follower in Panama!
Yep you noticed. I still have my switch but the Steam Deck gets most of my time now. It's really awesome. I've heard a lot of good things about the 18mm. I might have to try it out myself. I really just prefer the length of the 23 but everyone swears by the 18 so it might be the new look.
I actually run a 18 f1.4, 33 f1.4, 56 f1.2 *WR, and 90 f2 at weddings. Don't get me wrong, I love the 23 focal length! I love it on my X100V. But the 18 and 33 just feel right, to me anyways.

Fantastic as always John. Quick question, you may have mentioned it previously, but what attachment do you have on the bottom of your X-T5 that extends it just slightly? Love the X-T5 body, but would absolutely benefit for just a bit more real estate on the bottom -- and don't want to opt for something as gaudy as the SmallRig grip.

The 56/1.2 R is quite outdated, slow and loud AF with a quite low AF C hit rate and unsecure AF, with a wishy-washy aperture ring. Using it isn't much fun. Stellar results if AF hits. Not great for beginners.
The Viltrox 75/1.2 is an alternative.... needs more room.
I should have been more specific. I'm mainly talking about the new 56 f1.2. It's realy awesome.

Why take the 1.4's over the 23 n 35 f2?
Honestly the f2 versions would be great for a small light kit. Especially for engagement sessions. I just love the look of the f1.4 lenses. They’re tack sharp and some of Fujifilm’s newest lenses.
