Xbox controller has less input lag, that’s why it feels faster. And Mafia is optimized for HDD that’s why it will run better on an HDD than an SSD. Because by the end of the day it will be limited by the input (USB type). It will read better and more streamed from an HDD. Hitman on the internal it’s solid 60fps no issues. For Xbox there is actually an app to edit your videos but you need to download it, it’s not there. As for recording - just change the settings and you’ll be good. Because of the format, you’re having those issues. Great video!

I own an Xbox Series X and have had it for a few weeks now. You couldn't have summed this video up more perfectly because this is my opinion on it exactly.
Fun vid. As an Xbox person I'm happy with the Series X. I don't play anything on an external HD, just use it to store games I'm not currently playing. PS5 desperately needs to get a second internal SSD like Xbox, and allow an external drive to store PS5 games. As more PS5 games come out, it'll become more of a problem.

Any other series x owners who play fallout 4 should download a mod called fps unlock. Makes the game 60fps 95 percent of the time(at least to my eyes). Even with other mods installed too im about 10 hours in and the game hasnt even crashed once and it really does look good at native 4k.
The Series X has a ultra low latency mode built into it. That's why the games are so responsive. This will also work on the Elite ll and any other XB1 controllers as well.
It's so exciting to see Microsoft concentrating on the basics. The games. The 360 days are coming back fast. Only thing I'd like to see Microsoft do again is the Arcade stuff from 360 era.

Than 2021 you get scorn, warhammer, 2nd extinction, stalker 2, halo infinite, crossfirex, the ascent, the gunk, echo generation, exomecha, and of course flight simulator. Pretty stacked 2021 with more too announce.

Yeah, I got my ps5 day one and I loved it until the day that my series X arrived around two weeks ago, the series X feels more robust, better frame rates, and I don't know, I like the microsoft eco-system better over the sony one, the way that they do things. ...it is hard to explain. Like you put out, having both platforms allows you to enjoy the best of two worlds.

Except for the older games. Just bc if you have an external hard drive it'll run them so why not save your internal storage for the new games that have to have a SSD to run them? Especially since newer games are taking up a lot more space.

That Samsung SSD have Dram? I think Samsungs do have it but im not sure, but that might be an issue with the stuttering. Also, make sure your SSD has the latest firmware.

So far it's doing a lot of things very well, but it would be a great great purchase if it had some big exclusives. A few should be coming in 2021. In 2022 and 2023 we must see more games dropping for it

Major thing is the Xbox can do 1440p 120fps for Cold War multiplayer. If you have a gaming monitor which is a HUGE upgrade. I can’t believe how much more smooth it is playing cod at 120fps compared to 60fps.

To OP: Feels like the problem for Internal and External install problem is an one time glitch. Because I do exactly the same as you, I have install setting default to external, and just choose internal when prompt without issues. Maybe just for Gears 5 because I played a lot of Series X games but not Gear 5 yet. I have tried, Forza Horizon, Gears Tactics, Doom External this way without problem.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Listening to a real gamer talk about his experiences and not talk trash about a console just for the sake of it so darn refreshing. I can say with utmost certainty that I agree with everything you've said in this video. I too have both the PS5 and Xbox Series X and they both certainly have their strengths and weaknesses. I've been having a blast with my Series X, playing the exact games you've mentioned (Gears 5 and Forza Horizon 4). And yes, they look stunning on the Series X. I was unfortunate enough to get a faulty PS5 out of the box so while I was dealing with that mess, my Series X kept on truckin with no issues. I was green lit a replacement PS5 through Sony and now I'm up and running on that machine and loving every minute. Again, I really enjoyed your video and having subbed, I'm looking forward to future discussions.
Im a die hard xbox guy and I will always be xbox first over any PlayStation all because of two games, forza and halo. From that first day I played halo in the early 2000s I was xbox ever since, I just want halo for campaign and mp. BUT for the first time ever a few years ago I decided to go full PC so now ive reached a point I no longer need the xbox I have gamepass on pc so technically PC IS my xbox now. That being said though I paid 3x more than what I would've paid if I had just waited and bought a XSX, and there's also the fact I do have to manually fix things on PC far far far more often than I ever had to on console. I have no regrets but financially dunno if I will be able to afford continuing to game on pc forever I may oneday need to go back to console and that console will still always be xbox. One last thing I still want a console and I can't believe I'm saying this but I think that'll be the ps5 for me this time only because I technically already have a next gen xbox I invested into 3 years ago in the High end PC I built my self. I agree with your opinion 100% dude, I however would like to add technically xbox has more announced exclusives coming that PlayStation does so 2-3 years from now the exclusives or lack there off may not be problem by the.

That's why I bought my Series X so I can buy cheap old games that I missed plus I can play the new ones while I'm at it. This is my first time owning an Xbox so I missed out on quite a bit.

I concur with you, bro. I had the same reservations before buying my Xbox Series X-- I came from the PS4 so I was worried about PS exclusives and so. After I subscribed to Game Pass, I downloaded 10 games right off the bat and I have yet to finish my first game! I had the Xbox 360 years ago and I loved it until it TROD'd on me.

Fun vid. As an Xbox person I'm happy with the Series X. I don't play anything on an external HD, just use it to store games I'm not currently playing. PS5 desperately needs to get a second internal SSD like Xbox, and allow an external drive to store PS5 games. As more PS5 games come out, it'll become more of a problem.

@@joi0001 yeah to be honest the ps5 looks and feels way more next gen than the series x. the ps5 over the ps4pro feels like you are playing a completely different console on the series over the one x it just feels like the same console just upgraded.

Any other series x owners who play fallout 4 should download a mod called fps unlock. Makes the game 60fps 95 percent of the time(at least to my eyes). Even with other mods installed too im about 10 hours in and the game hasnt even crashed once and it really does look good at native 4k.
The Series X has a ultra low latency mode built into it. That's why the games are so responsive. This will also work on the Elite ll and any other XB1 controllers as well.
It's so exciting to see Microsoft concentrating on the basics. The games. The 360 days are coming back fast. Only thing I'd like to see Microsoft do again is the Arcade stuff from 360 era.

Yeah, I got my ps5 day one and I loved it until the day that my series X arrived around two weeks ago, the series X feels more robust, better frame rates, and I don't know, I like the microsoft eco-system better over the sony one, the way that they do things. ...it is hard to explain. Like you put out, having both platforms allows you to enjoy the best of two worlds.

Except for the older games. Just bc if you have an external hard drive it'll run them so why not save your internal storage for the new games that have to have a SSD to run them? Especially since newer games are taking up a lot more space.

I have Series S, and my brother has the Series X both runs so good! On my Series S, I played Rainbow Six Siege and it had on update for 120fps.. my frames jumped to 160 fps in rank. Amazing..

So far it's doing a lot of things very well, but it would be a great great purchase if it had some big exclusives. A few should be coming in 2021. In 2022 and 2023 we must see more games dropping for it

It's just a cheap gaming pc without freedom, free online and cheaper games. Great specs for the price though. But personally I think the extra cash for a pc is worth it so you don't have to rely on devs to include the settings you prefer also can't stand playing fps games with dual analog.

Major thing is the Xbox can do 1440p 120fps for Cold War multiplayer. If you have a gaming monitor which is a HUGE upgrade. I can’t believe how much more smooth it is playing cod at 120fps compared to 60fps.

To OP: Feels like the problem for Internal and External install problem is an one time glitch. Because I do exactly the same as you, I have install setting default to external, and just choose internal when prompt without issues. Maybe just for Gears 5 because I played a lot of Series X games but not Gear 5 yet. I have tried, Forza Horizon, Gears Tactics, Doom External this way without problem.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Listening to a real gamer talk about his experiences and not talk trash about a console just for the sake of it so darn refreshing. I can say with utmost certainty that I agree with everything you've said in this video. I too have both the PS5 and Xbox Series X and they both certainly have their strengths and weaknesses. I've been having a blast with my Series X, playing the exact games you've mentioned (Gears 5 and Forza Horizon 4). And yes, they look stunning on the Series X. I was unfortunate enough to get a faulty PS5 out of the box so while I was dealing with that mess, my Series X kept on truckin with no issues. I was green lit a replacement PS5 through Sony and now I'm up and running on that machine and loving every minute. Again, I really enjoyed your video and having subbed, I'm looking forward to future discussions.

Im a die hard xbox guy and I will always be xbox first over any PlayStation all because of two games, forza and halo. From that first day I played halo in the early 2000s I was xbox ever since, I just want halo for campaign and mp. BUT for the first time ever a few years ago I decided to go full PC so now ive reached a point I no longer need the xbox I have gamepass on pc so technically PC IS my xbox now. That being said though I paid 3x more than what I would've paid if I had just waited and bought a XSX, and there's also the fact I do have to manually fix things on PC far far far more often than I ever had to on console. I have no regrets but financially dunno if I will be able to afford continuing to game on pc forever I may oneday need to go back to console and that console will still always be xbox. One last thing I still want a console and I can't believe I'm saying this but I think that'll be the ps5 for me this time only because I technically already have a next gen xbox I invested into 3 years ago in the High end PC I built my self. I agree with your opinion 100% dude, I however would like to add technically xbox has more announced exclusives coming that PlayStation does so 2-3 years from now the exclusives or lack there off may not be problem by the.
