Amazing thank you 😊 I look forward to trying this and really liked that you displayed them at the end. When would the use by date be for these?
The dried chips can be saved for a good while in an airtight container away from humidity before frying. Once fried it is best to consume soon.
كم هو رائع هذا اللون الارجواني شكرا لك

2-3 hours to dehydrate! Oh my I’d have to be well prepared
Amazing! Could i do the same with rocket?
You may be able to, I’ve never done it. If you try it, please let me know. 👍
Can replace potato starch with cornstarch
You may be able to, I have not experimented with the corn starch as a substitute. If I do I will let you know. 👍
Lol i was about to ask same question
❤️
Looks, sooo good, I can make this sweet for a dessert?
Yes you can add some sugar to it.
Instead of potato starch can 1 use corn starch?
That excellent just a question it have any substitute for the potato starch like corn starch
Potato or tapioca starch work the best.
Is there any replacement for potato starch?
hi, it's look amazing ! thank you for this recipe! i'll be try but i'm asking if i replace red cabbage juice by beet juice, is this going to work ?
Thanks! It should work with beet juice as well.
Hi, thank you for sharing this awesome idea. Just curious what is the texture like before deep frying?
Before frying it is harder, if thin enough it can be eaten but if too thick it may be harder. It gets crispier and crunchier once fried.
@@HomeChefSeattle got it, thank you chef!
Should you eat it in the same day? Or can you make some and keep for later? For how long?
Thanks for recipe!
The dried chips before frying can be kept for awhile in an airtight container. After frying I prefer to serve them fresh.
Dá para moldar em canudo? Assim que sai da fritadeira?
Quando vai para a fritadeira já está firme, para enrolar teria que ser durante a desidratação antes de estar completamentos seco
Thank you for sharing chef.but if we dont have a potato starch should i change it to corn starch?
Potato or tapioca starch work best.
I wonder how well this would work if you boiled a cubed potato and then use the starchy water to cook the cabbage or whatever vegetable you’re using
It probably wouldn’t be enough starch to form the gel, but if enough starch is extracted it could possibly work. Potato starch water is great for thickening sauces and broths.
@@HomeChefSeattle it did actually work. I just boiled one russet in minimal water, use the handheld mixer to agitate the starches, then filtered it and blend it with the agar and water mix.
Beautiful garnish. It's possible to store them in a tight tupper? Regards Rodolfo
Yes they can be kept in an airtight container. The dried chips before frying will keep for a good while.
Would one store it in the fridge or on shelf in airtight container? My fridge space very limited…..
Genial e super saudável d
👍👍
I don't want to fry it. Is it possible? More healthily!
It is possible, but without frying they are firmer and harder in texture so make sure to make them really thin.
This guy has to be Brazilian. I recognise my own accent 😂
Haha you are right! Nasci e cresci no Brasil! 👍👍 20+ anos de Estados Unidos mas o sotaque continua.
can i use corn flooer
Potato or tapioca starch work best.
Can you fry them in an airfryer instead of traditional frying?
I’ve never made them with an airfryer not sure whether it would work or not.
What u put on the cabbage water potatoe??? Plz
The ingredients are 1/2 red cabbage, 2 1/2 cups of water and 4 tablespoons of potato starch. Salt to sprinkle after frying.
Can you get the same result with corn starch?
Potato or Tapioca Starch work best. I have not tested it with Corn Starch.
Would this work with beets?
It would. 👍
Is there a way to make them without frying?
They can be eaten without frying but will have a firmer texture and not so crispy. In that case is best to spread them out as thin as possible before dehydrating.
can't we do that using corn starch?
Potato and Tapioca Starch work best. I have not tried it with corn starch.
How many days concerved?
The dried chips can be kept for awhile in an airtight container, but it is best to fry them not too far in advance.
Okay.
I subbed.
But...
I want to see him eat it.
I'm a simple uncultured heathen 😂.

Time 2:01 a few Drops of what ?
A few drops of vinegar! The acid turns it red in color.
@@HomeChefSeattle Thank u
Is there any issue if I use corn starch instead of potato starch?
Is it possible to use cornstarch or rice flour instead of potato starch?
I have not made them with corn starch sonI can’t tell for sure, potato or tapioca starch work best.
I thought this was Amagansett Press
hermoso
Gracias! 🙏
