tip number 4 is just perfect! solved the problem to switch solo button+wah at the same time ! this pedalboard its an insane versatility machine! thanks a lot you helped me out so much !
I found a guy on youtube that does a reverse noise gate (Higher Threshold, Low Release) will help cut the noise on high gain when not playing and automatically when playing which I found helpful in cleaning solos and when done the Threshold returns to a higher level to keep things quiet. I have a setting of a Threshold of 40 / Release of 8 on the block, in the Assign, Target Min 40/ Target Max 8, Source is Input level, mode is moment. I've also experimenting with Ducking on the Master Delay, turning the Master Delay on with my solo boost. Almost eliminates using reverb on my gain settings. Stereo tip was cool. Didnt know that turning on the FX Expansion killed the Stereo output, Good job!
HI Dave ! than you buddy for your vid :)) im a super beginner with the GT , and i have a question please if i understood you well! at 1:46 , you mean you can change from the section A to B pressing the same switch ? @@DaveWebbMusic hey ! thank you very much buddy, grazie mille :)) sorry i explained it with a poor english but glad you got me , thank you very much i will try on my gt now :)))
Hey! Great video! Thank you so much! Do you think it’s possible to make all this with MIDI on a Core? I’m not sure if I could program the same CC# for more than one parameter change.
Thanks for watching dude. Oh yeah, it’s all totally doable on the GTCore. I have one as well, and the Core is exactly the same just smaller in size. I have a Morningstar MC8 and the Midi control is awesome. Basically everything you can do on the bigger unit can assigned on the Core to an external controller. 🤘🏼
Hi I just bought a GT 1000 and I'm trying to have the delay level or delay volume controlled by expression pedal one on my user patch not sure how to do that any help would be greatly appreciated thank you 🎸👍
Hey man! If you go to 9:44 I show you how to assign certain parameters to the expression pedal. Follow the steps but instead select the delay volume. Should work a treat. 🤘🏼
I was putting cabs/iRs after effects for the longest time, then finally realized that it was a big mistake... You want to effect the signal with the cabs/IRs up front before your effects, not after where your cabs/IRs can be negatively affected by effects such as reverb... You want reverb to effect your tone with your cabs/IRs already in it... Pretty simple to discern the difference by running a dry recorded loop through it both ways, recording them, and then comparing the recordings... Check it out for yourself...
I've heard other people say the exact opposite tip, as if you put the reverb after the cab, that means that it's a post-processing on the recorded signal, while if you put it before the cab, it will be picked up by the IR's mic simulation, so it will instead sound like room reverb. Two different sounds with two different purposes, it's a really versatile processor.
I think is the other way around, GT-1000Core is full stereo functionality, thats why FX4 in mono wont make any sense, I still don't know any person that uses GT-1000core with the stereo input but is amazing, even if i add other effects that in the chain looks is hooked in mono, the stereo signal still works is amazing
Yeah man! ua-cam.com/video/xihZN_L9UmQ/v-deo.html This is using the GT-1000 core, but it is exactly the same. I only have a Katana 50, but if you have a bigger model Katana, you can the fx loop as well 4 cable style.
The GT1000 also has an output setting where you can select katana (among many other amps) either through the guitar input or effects loop, depending on how you want to connect. It EQs based on your selection. Sometimes I gig with a Jazz Chorus which I turn off amp sims and use effects only. Works great!
Okay so I've got my foot volume set up so that between 0 and 5 the tuner activates. So far so good. But when I activate the wah and I'm still getting the tuner between 0 and 5. How do I switch off that function when the wah is active?
I don’t think you can switch off the tuner option while doing that with the wah. I’ve found I need to either be very cautious with my foot to not engage the tuner, or just don’t use that option and have tuner elsewhere. It was too easy to go too far and have audio dropouts.
Hello! I want to ask 2 things about GT-1000. First, Im rarely using the bluetooth function, but yesterday when i was practising and I wanted to use metronome, i was trying to control the metronome via bluetooth and i coulnt see any choice that you could control it, even turn it on or off. Im the only one that cant use the metronome via bluetooth or its not an option at GT-1000? Second, Its really weird for me that i cant store 2 patches with different output select. For most of my patches i use the "Recording" OUTPUT, however I really love the cleans of the JC-120 with the output of JC-120 return (its a lot different than when i have the output on "recording") , but seems that i cant store it, as when i change the outpout , it goes for all the patches.. Is it strange that such expensive unit doesnt have this function or I am doing something wrong?
Hey dude. From what I can see, it doesn’t look like metronome is available on the Bluetooth app. So you will need to activate it on the unit. For the output select, if you choose anything other than LINE/PHONES or RECORDING, you are bypassing the Cab block in the GT1000. The amp name outputs, JC120, Katana, etc, are there for when using the GT1000 with that specific amp, whether it be into the input, return, 4 cable, or any other way I’m missing. This option is global by design in order to get the best tone in every situation & to avoid any accidental mishaps. I hope that helps. 🤘🏼
Where can I get this stand like you have for the GT-1000? I really need something like this as I have Cerebral Palsy and switching patches with my legs is a pain in the ass.
Hi i tried to connect my gt1000 to speaker using trs cable but it sound strange and reverbi, is it because of the cable and should i use a Ts unbalanced cable instead?
