having watched the episode on TV, I cannot understand the mentality of American men who are clearly unable to take instruction from a woman, is it such a threat to their manhood ?? the next guy was worse, but he did look like he was past retirement age. The moment she took back control the job was done and completed, if these men have such low self esteem to do the job then they are in the wrong work because she made them look foolish. You go girl !!!!!!!!

Same thing happens with my boss at my company because sometimes if you don't follow a certain pattern sometimes it causes more problems and more delays

I know this has been a while ago, but I seem to remember Allison Victoria from Chicago having trouble with her male partner/ investor. He took HORRIBLE advantage of her and made her look like a complete idiot. HOWEVER, she was not and had the right people and receipts proving that she was 100% right. I think I remember her saying,”Now who is the idiot?!?!!!”” Where ever you are now Mina in your new life/city in 2024, don’t let any person (man or woman) belittle you. You are a really smart woman and I know that you know how to handle yourself and your reputable company and family. 💕💕

She was very sharp and demanding. My husband and I are contractors and we would not be comfortable around this woman. Stalls happen especially after Covid. Lady needs some patience and things need to be done in an order because she is not going to pay the contractors more for their time loss while jumping around. It is obvious she is a little selfish and impatient. Construction is extremely stressful and the supervisors handle a lot and deserve some gratitude and peace.
Maybe the project is a bit more than she can chew.
Absolutely not. Can't fly like an eagle soaring with turkeys. She just needs to more quickly replace incompetent people. Nothing new.
No. The project was more than HE could handle. That first GC was rude and obviously had no idea how to problem solve. Everything she said was right. If you have one problem on site then you keep working around it until you can resolve it. You don't throw a tantrum like he did and quit. She is running the whole business and multiple sites. He was hired to handle one site and he couldn't handle that one job. The 2nd GC was thrown in at the deep end and probably not used to all the cameras etc. This shows the true nature of running a construction business and the daily dramas.
Thing is, she knew this was going to be more than she could handle. She went forward with the project knowing that it was over her budget, and that there was no room for error.
POOR MINA. SO SORRY

That description applies to Thomas, not Mina. He was incredibly rude to her and obviously way out of his depth on how to run a big construction project. There are always problems, you work around them until you can find a solution.
TV never gets Facts they get drama as. Nothing is ever as easy as TV makes it Look Especially Heading a Construction or Building Company BeCause Subcontractors are Sometimes Shady 😢
