There were some really amazing details they lost in the reno. The articulated light above the kitchen sink is super. Love that you can go to the backyard from the dining area.
This is one of my favorites. It is very bright, clean, and modern but still keeping the details of the house. It ja not so eclectic and grandma design like the other makeovers.
It's all superstition. Fasting n prayer Blood of Jesus, word of God which is sword of God, Armour of God these r some of the tools n weapons of our warfare, not no shoes. U can anoint the home with olive oil which is biblical n pray over the place n bind rebuke evict drive away, univite, scatter by fire by force any spirit that is NOT of God that may be laying dormant. Invite the spirit of God Holy Ghost to dwell there. Only God's Sperry should be there no unclean evil entity shall dwell there in Jeus mighty name
When parents were having first home built they took an old doll of mine to place in wall. According to them was good luck and protection for me.Claiming as my home. ( The builders not parents)
I would not have bothered that shoe. I either would not have touched it or got a pastor to pray over the house and got rid of the shoe. I also would not have messed with the property knowing it was there, playing with the occult is never a good idea. But they did do a great job on the house😊.
Buyers supply their own. You'd still need a step ladder to clean that if they left it open above. This means pulling down dead flies, spider nests, and piles of dust in a spot that is hot and sweaty. Putting in a soffit means that you have a space that might house mice in the future. With cupboards to ceiling you get to store lesser used kitchen tools and they stay *clean and ready.* It maximizes otherwise wasted space. That square footage costs money, use all of it!!!
The "Good Bones" features here in Europe as well on HGTV..love watching all the home renovations but although we all speak perfectly good English..the problem with the nasal sound coming from Mina..is absolutely impossible to follow... We realise it's a habit of many American women..but if you are the star of a program it's important that people can hear what you say..the men don't seem to have the same problem...
Evrytime they reno a historical house architecturally they destroy everything the door casing the corbals outside Nothing is original even the paint outside make it look at least for me as a mobile home not something that had been there for years Im disappointed even though reno is ok but ethically its a big no
Superstition means in the translation "stands beyond". Like an evil spirit or such. Religion on the other hand is part of a human life in which the person acts according the rules of said religion. All religions have superstitious elements in it because basically Superstition means the illusion of control through manipulating things (like the shoe) or nature. And what would we be without control, even if only imagined. There are no evil spirits or good spirits for that matter: only a lack of insight and fear. I would have thrown the shoe away. Most probably during full moon, at midnight, on a cemetery 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's lovely except two things: 1. please stop using gray everywhere...especially permanent surfaces. Gray is depressing and looks dirty. 2. And clear glass shades make no sense. Shades are specifically used to reduce glare.
I painted everything gray not long before Christmas Eve 1988. By Spring of 1989, I was sick to death of it! It's cold, institutional, and very much overused. There are many other crayons in the box.
@@angelbulldog4934 So true. I started reading The English Home magazine about 10 years ago (there was a pile in the library fund raising store) and they use glorious color everywhere. I never went back to following fashion. My laundry is Lemon Meringue, main living areas are Glimmer, one child's bedroom is Romance, the other is Hinting Blue all from Sherwin Williams. Walking through my house makes me happy every day. :)
@@angelbulldog4934 Thank you for your kindness as well. I forgot to mention the guest bath is Koral Kicks! Woo hoo! After painting I thought where in the world will I ever find a shower curtain to match? Target had several! I couldn't believe it. Serendipity! You have a wonderful weekend as well.

I am from Denver Colorado USA connected with her and she has helped me a lot,she makes so much profit for me she is a FINRA agent, the best I can invest with so far ever since I came across expert Mrs Angela, my bad turned out being good and profitable. She's made success earlier than we thought.
@Mary McClure She is my family's personal Broker and also a personal Broker to many families in the United states, she is a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in the United States🇺🇲. My family got in touch with her after she did a broadcast on ABC NEWS about her profitable investments and trading, she is so awesome that my family is now dept free...
AMEN....absolutely 100% right.!!! unfortunately in the world we live in, God and Jesus have been put on the back burner as the love of "stuff" became first priority. As you correctly mentioned, the old shoe got far too much exposure . I have yet to see a crucifix or a Cristian picture featuring in any program
Enough with the occult! This is a show about renovations and finding creepy items or informing/doing ritualistic activities is NOT necessary! The mom needs to go.

I've never seen people work so hard for so little profit.
They also refreshed the curse 👻
Never heard of a shoe preventing curses.

Sweet baby Jesus 😂😂😂😂
Totally love the inside ❤️
I love, love, love this interior. Great job!
I would never want to buy a house with the " shoe" too creepy for me.
I think she got it wrong. Incense is for prayers. Sage is for cleansing. I would have buried the shoe somewhere far away. Seriously :)
The shoe 👞 house!😂❤

You did wrong with the shoe! I also want to know why the book bindings are facing in instead of out?
I think the book bindings facing in is because of copyright issues.
@@L.Spencer no, it’s because it’s A new stupid design trend to make them look more uniform..God willing this stupidity will pass on asap
@@L.Spencer it's a "designer thing"..... they're all doing that these days. Nothing to do with copyrights.
I think that shoe is just an old shoe.
I don't know how this renovation could be worth their time if they're hoping for just a $10K profit. That's almost nothing.

Burn it and pray over the house in Yeshua's name. Done and done.

Girl u should had threw that witchcraft Satanic shoe out!!
Poner traductor en español, plis!
They did a nice job but once u rip out all the homes details I'm at nope nope nope
Love you guys, love the show 😍❤
Truly nice design. I love the bathroom shown in the last frames. I could live without the muffin close-ups and the silly "curse" story.
Too true. Lovely redo... but what do the cupcakes have to do with it? And the "curse" thing was VERY silly!
Where are you hiding the step ladder to access those upper cupboards?
