@@jross9553Well Charonosaurus was around at that time in Asia, so it could’ve potentially made an appearance, it looks a lot like Parasaurolophus, I’m surprised Charonosaurus hasn’t made an appearance in either Season 1 or 2, same with certain North American dinosaurs like Ankylosaurus, Thescelosaurus and Dakotaraptor, also for South America, Maip really should’ve appeared, and Africa deserves some representation as well, Titanovenator could’ve appeared, although it would be cool if their turned out to be an undiscovered new giant Carcharodontosaurid species and a new giant Spinosaurid species that managed to live in the Late Maastrichtian just hiding in Africa, making it their last stronghold, but would’ve been absent everywhere else in the world at the time, especially with how little we know of regarding the Late Cretaceous period in general when it comes to Africa. Maybe Season 3 will have them all appear if it returns to the Maastrichtian stage of the Late Cretaceous, although it would still be cool if they explored the other time periods, I just kinda hope that they show the species I mentioned for the next season instead of going to another time period, only until they’ve shown them I’ll feel like the Maastrichtian has gotten enough representation and then the other time periods should be represented.
Here in the UK our swans have maimed children and the elderly. Most terrifying thing to come across on a lake side walk along with geese. (We have wallabies too)
Not only are these better than the obnoxiously overused hawk sound effects, but these honking sounds feel more likely for a Quetzalcoatlus to actually make.
Much agreed. It doesn't just sound like a hawk or anything. It's a lot more deep and throaty, like something a large flightless bird would have, which makes this actually FLYING animal all the more scary.
I genuinely can't think of them sounding any other way now. Whenever I see a quetz in games they also always sound like this ever since PP released. This sound has a choke hold on us all
it's interesting that this noise that should "technically" be annoying can literally be played in a single grouped montage and not manage to be irritating.
Quetzalcoatlus: a flying beast with the neck and beak of a stork, the forelimbs replaced with the wings of a bat, body of a giraffe, and the voice of a goose.
They literally said that Rex will “return for his meal” and even though Rex is much stronger we have real life examples of honey badgers scaring off significantly bigger and stronger lions. As Rick raptor would say “completely plausible”

I think it's an amazing sound effect. Sounds like a bass boosted goose, which makes perfect sense for such a massive animal
Feel annoying but also threatening
Sound more like an oncoming truck
They actually used chickens funny enough
@manmenchiman1308 I took a clip of the sounds and sped em up and changed the pitch
Quetzalcoatlus are basically Honking Storks of death
Canadians: "Our geese are really scary!"
Cretaceous denizens: "Sure about that?"
idk it's pretty even for me

Red tailed hawk sound maybe iconic and majestic. But because too overused in incorrect species it becoming annoying too
I honestly don’t remember the last time a hawk sound was used.
Ok but I command you to tell me why do you like the Cabbage-pult from the hit indie game Plants vs. Zombies from game developer PopCap.

"Oh god, not _these_ freaks."
"ffs..."

Especially the last honk. It’s like the video says: And that’s how they honk!
who done turned my boah quartzelkumquat into a norse god 😭😭

My favorite part of Prehistoric Planet is when the Quetzalcoatlus said 'Honk' and started honking everywhere
*sigh* At least this one’s true.
The H O N K of death.
When she said "HOOONK", I felt that, man. 😂
it's interesting that this noise that should "technically" be annoying can literally be played in a single grouped montage and not manage to be irritating.
Part of the appeal is that it’s so annoying. It feeds into PhP Quetz’s Horrible Goose Energy™️ that we all love it for!
Even outside memes, this is horrifying. Azhdarchids are the scariest prehistoric creatures discovered so far imo.
Objectively true. These things would actively hunt US if they were alive today.
Wasps.
@@princessmaly Wasps are silly goofy little guys once you get to know them.
If you thought geese were scary, size them up fifty times, give them a Monster Hunter Lance for a beak, and you have yourself a Quetzalcoatlus.

Alamosaurus: moans and grumbles
Quetzalcoatlus: 🎺
