Great video! The standing platform is way too bulky and very hard to use that pin, you’re spot on with that...also, the beginner bar setting is absolutely pointless 😂
Very well though out mower love it push mowing is phicicaly draining in the heat very good for small back yards with narrow gates ,I’m going to buy one eventually, well done gravely
Stand-on manufacturers should add a hydraulic deck lift with a little pedal on the platform, I've run some Kubota zero turns with that system and it was sweet as
Jared! Great video. Lots of good info. I with you on that foot pedal. I took out a residential gate with darn pedal. Other than that, this is my favorite machine. -Craig
Good review. I bought on in the spring and sold it within 5 hours. I have other older Gravley mowers for 6 years. I was disappointed in the 32”. Great review.
Well lack of tie downs in the BACK of the machine is one thing. If make a 32” machine then make it 32” with the deflector up. I always like the removable so it doesn’t make the machine wider. Platform locking pin is dumb. We flipped the foot lever to the inside so it would stay 32” but wish it would lock out of the way. Top of the tower layout is not the normal user friendly like the older models. (Reminds me of the Scag). Bring back the trash bin and put all PTO, key, throttle, choke back above the throttle controls. Gas gauge sight hole is dumb. Rear tires are to narrow for hills and turning without grass skids. Love Gravley over all, but if they would address my dislikes I’d buy anther one to go with the other 5 mowers 48” & 36”
What happens when you decide to use the grass catcher, do you still need to carry wrenches to unbolt the grass deflector in order to use the basket like the previous pro-stance models? That was so annoying!!!
How wide is it? I know it says 32" cut but exmark has a 32" but it actually measures over 45", kinda defeats the purpose when most small gates are less than 45"
I think that’s a good price in today’s market a new one is probably pushing close to $8,000 if I had to guess. Maybe they’ll negotiate and you can get it for $5,000. You never know
I hear that and agree from my business perspective. There are some places down south where all the neighborhoods have 34 inch gates or smaller. This covers the market and gives people more sizes to choose from

In fairness this one is so is it my Dealership in Memphis Tn can Not properly adjust the deck Or is this Machine flawed? The one cut before the deck Belt was great but after the Dealership re-adjust it bye- Bye to everyone cuting low again ! But it being 32inch getting in Small gates sold me if only Mines could cut as low as your Video does i would be happy With the purchase!
@@NewVisionLCS I have the same problem when I first purchase my mower, but yes you can cut low, you have to do a little work by changing the pin on the deck to low position, the deck comes high to cut from factory, but everything is possible, or call your nearest mower dealer they can adjusted for around $75 dollars so you can cut low, hope this help.
@mrperfecto2758 does the adjusted lower level have to be real level lawn, so not to scalp cutting grass as short as a push mower? As I don't think it has a floating deck.
I would cut off the foot pedal if I bought that or flip it if possible. Also take off the chute blocker, maybe add a nice leather one. If a 32in doesn't fit in the gate there is no point.
I hope pro stance better then their zero turns, i wasted my money on them. Horrible cut quality, deck height adjustment about 3” off, even adusted all the way up it still wont do 5”. Breaking springs, belt alignment horrible, discharge is a joke
@@jcslawntips 6/7/21, Why would you want this over a [pro-turn] or other commercial-grade w/a seat? I just got a new consumer-grade ztx42...just right 4my property.
Thank you for a awesome review on the Gravely 36inch . I will be purchasing one very soon.
Great review. Gravely is defs ahead of the curve with that deck pedal. Cannot believe every stand on manufacturer does not incorporate this.
Spartan does!
Just ordered one. You guys got a catcher for it?

What about going up the hill slower as a walk behind, as this machine allows it.
Well done 👏

Why did y’all go with the 32? That seems really small for those big fields
How wide is it? I know it says 32" cut but exmark has a 32" but it actually measures over 45", kinda defeats the purpose when most small gates are less than 45"
Grate video but is that a floating deck?
yes it is
Do the tires leave ruts in lawns being that there smaller
They can if you follow the same pattern regularly
I'm looking at a '21 with 70 hrs for $5500. Worth it still?

Why do you wear ear protection when cutting?
So I can still hear when I am older
I understand the fit and function, but part of me is saying, if the gate doesn't fit a 36", is it worth the headache?
I hear that and agree from my business perspective. There are some places down south where all the neighborhoods have 34 inch gates or smaller. This covers the market and gives people more sizes to choose from

You can flip it but then the platform won't latch. But I hear you on that
No No No, please Gravely bring me back my previous model, this is a total mistake, I love my mower.
On a hill that steep step off the
