- Imran Khan in his interview with Reuters hinted that the charade of military courts is basically built to try him in a military court. He argued that all other 150 cases against him are not working for the regime; these start to look weak as they are presented in court so they need a military court to put him in long prison. All they are looking for is a state approver (Sultani Gawah) who will state that what ever happened on May 9 was Imran Khan's script.
Pakistan has reached back to 1977/79 when Bhutto was tried by Gen. Zia ul Haq to get rid of him. Will history repeat itself and Imran Khan will find himself in a long jail or the people of Pakistan have become wisened and will resist?

Dr. Moeed's vlog always does a great job of intriguing our minds to find answers. Why has the establishment failed miserably in the last 14 months to remove Imran Khan from our hearts? In fact, their actions have worked against themselves. Today, people openly question the role of the Army and blame them for all the bad tormented history. They even blame them for cahooting with the politicians. And ignoring the corruption of the politicians and being themselves corrupt. I would ask Dr. Sahab to do an analysis of what the Army gained in the last 14 months? Do they think it is the 1970's that people will just forget and move on? As they say in urdu, ghas to nahi khayi huyi Army generals nay.

However I suspect that what happened in April 2022 was different from what happened before in 1958, 1969, 1977 and 1999 - Army was always acting as Army; but Gen. Unfortunately for the pakistan army that although the fake May 9 events have given them some legal premise to clamp down on PTI and Imran Khan. But People still love him and follow him. So question still remains that for just short term gains, why the Pakistan army has lost the long term narrative and turned people against them.

Another great vlog Dr. Saab, my comments may be a little controversial but these are my personal opinions and observations. “Every nation gets the leaders it deserves” This is the sad reality we as a nation and even if I look at the Muslim world as a whole (most are ruled by centuries old dynasties), I can say this that we the Muslim people accept slavery and have a slave mentality going back centuries and to compare ourselves to the Turkish or even the French or German nation is delusional as they are a proud nation/ people and have a history where they uprise in masses against oppression! From time to time we get a Salauddin, Jinnah or Imran Khan who tries to awaken our consciousness, but in a short period of time we regress back to our comfort zone of master/ slave mentality,
I agree with the PDM that we need our software updating, however not in the way they have in mind, this is the sad reality and until we as an ummah do something about it we will have to accept our fate, “God helps those who help themselves”. The reason I use the word ummah is if we were what Allah SWA accepted of us, then all the other so called Muslim nations would support Imran Khan and PTI, against an oppressive regime like we have in our country, but this can’t happen from the likes of Saudi Arabia (even the name Saudi in the same way as the N in PMLN is a paradox in itself), Qatar, UAE, Kuwait etc as they have their own skeletons to hide (the fate of the common man is not highlighted because of their considerable wealth from natural resources), in their defence at least the leaders of these nations are not hypocrites to point out Pakistan’s deficiencies! Since my sister was American citizen born in USA that saved our family . I really don’t know how evil next general is . Reporters got public (Kodar) stick some reporters died . The entire military leadership has come up through the same training and indoctrination. They are all bullies, cowards, and thugs. To expect any one of the Lieutenant Generals to be any different than Zia is being delusional. They have never won a war and the only military success they have had is in the subjugation on the Pakistani people. Meritocracy is not how they climb the ranks, rather it’s through bootlicking and being yes men. They can be brought under civilian control, but it can only happen through a countrywide revolution and armed struggle.

I am in awe of IK, what a role model but definitely not a political tactician. We don’t want cults of personality but we need to stand with and for service to our quam, respect, fairness, hardwork, in each of our spheres of life and influence. Sir your analysis is very convincing. Majority of Pakistanis have enough understanding about the mly establishment and Imran Khan. Question is what we can do now? It is almost impossible to come on streets and protest. Social media compaign is fruitful to some extent only. We are considering ourselves helpless. It seems that we are waiting for the time when the duffers will arrest Imran Khan for long time. My question is, what should be the roadmap??

This an informative, thoughtful vlog; there is a going on struggle in the establishment circles; we hope Pakistan's immunity will defend the worsening health of Pakistan.
You can also help Dr Sb by explaining people how in IK's gov different institutions in Pakistan were improving. I send my paintings abroad and in Moraad Saeed's time I saw small businesses increasing and there were long queues of people in export section at Lahore GPO. We had to wait for 2 hours for our turn. Now GOP export section is empty we dispatch our parcel with in seconds. The staff now tell us how competent Moraad Saeed was and stories of his surprise visits every now and then. Not only visits but he opened their files checked this to see if any fraud was happening. He spent value time in bringing things on track. Where as this government according to them is not even providing them basic stationary. Our relatives in Kuwait told us that IK's gov gave then money and basic grocery at time of COVID in Kuwait which they were thankful for because it was tough situation for them people lost their jobs. Many of the house maids have told me that they were receiving 12 thousand per ID in a family above this he gave them ATM cards to receive this money with dignity and to prevent shop keepers or government employs from taking bhatta. Were personally were happy that we had to spend no money on UPS repair and batteries. You have to tell this because we lower middle class Pakistanis we never saw all this before or after his government. Army should understand that a good person is a comfort for us and that is why we support him and are willing to sacrifice our lives.
IK is for some reason not willing to explain deeply what good things he and his team did. Could you please do some research on this and explain the world and our army why people love him. The tragedy of Pakistan is we are not a 'people'. If we had a identity as Pakistani or as Imran Khan puts it' Pakistanio' then we would rise up as a people. Sadly our sense of Pakistanio is very weak. Instead our collective identity is obfuscated and diffused along religious - Muslim, Sunni, Shia or along ethnic Punjabi, Pakhtun, Sindhi or along biradri or tribal lines. Then when we do begin developing a broader overarching identity it mostly fuses around global Islam. This is unlike say in Turkey where nationalism is very strong thus politics is articulated along national lines.

Expats in Middle East send more remittances to Pakistan than any other region in the world. You can bring economy to a grinding halt by stopping remittances. This is the most potent thing you can do to put pressure on these thugs and junta.
