Don't dare to compare PTI with PPP who denied democracy and supported 1971 genocide in former East Pakistan.
Pti supporters are so emotionally charged that they forget that pti itself gave extension to an army chief and used the army and isi to crack down on political opponents which is undemocratic, just like PPP so there is no real difference between the two.
PPP was not it power in 1971. They came into power in 1972. It was your beloved Army who did the genecide and blamed Bhutto & Mujeeb ur Rehman for it.

Why Bhutto threatened not to go to National Assembly in March 1971 after 1970 elections leading to student revolt at Dhaka University and I was student of IBA at age of 21 boy.Army did commit genocide alone but they did not arrest Bhutto for threat instead only arrested Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was clear double.Bhutto was not in power but smartly convinced for action on Bengalis by supplying women, wine,dance at his Larkana villa as he was power hungry.

Dr. Pirzada I would like you and other social scientist and intellectuals to do a series of educational programs on the concept and definition of State. I have this feeling that the social scientist, politicians and intellectuals in Pakistan were unable to understand or communicate clearly to the public true meaning and concept of A State. It appears that in Pakistan State is defined as State institutions, including army, judiciary, Police and bureaucracy rather than people of the state, whose primary purpose is to serve the people. The people living within a defined boundary defines the state rather than institutions. The institutions are only there to serve the people and protect their Life, Dignity and Property. This clarity in definition of State will empower people to stand up for their legitimate rights and interests.

I have been watching Pakistan's politics for the last fifteen ,twenty years now ,I am 42 years old living in UK since 2012 and I am one of the Unfortunate people of Pakistan who have to leave country just to earn basic necessities of life.
I was 30 years old when I left Pakistan, I love the country, I love living with my own family and people but I realised strongly that there's no future in Pakistan for me and I will be killed by police or other government institution without any crime committing because in Pakistan if you resist, wrong doings, social injustice or raise your voice in any good way or for any good cause, the system tries to eliminate you.
There's no chance in the presence of current regime Pakistan can progress, people will be forced to leave the country who ever could go out of it,will leave it.
I can see very tough times coming soon for the Unfortunate people of Pakistan. Thank you

Excellent commentary and comparison on the birth of 2 most important political movements in Pakistan. There may or may not be the suggestion here that since PPP and PTI are both original political movements, they may be able find common grounds for an allied political front. Wajahat Saeed has suggested this and we know that PPP definitely on some level desires this. This may have been possible if Benazir Bhutto was alive. The current PPP under Zardari have effectively made Sindh a slow moving train wreck. We also know that the man who once said “democracy is the best revenge” has played a criminal role in actually raping democracy by buying votes, abducting people and effectively intimidating them when it’s time to vote in national or provincial assemblies. While PPP might be hoping that by allying with PTI, some of PTI popularity may rub off on them, infact the opposite is true. If PTI ever makes the mistake of being friendly with PPP there is a good chance Zardari’s cursed reputation might rub off on PTI. Zardari is America’s lap dog and PTI strives for independent foreign policy. I could go on and on but enough said. Both the parties stand at opposite side of the spectrum regarding their views and could/ should not be allied even for short term political goals.

I am listening to Mr. Pirzada for the first time after the general elections this year, as I was religiously following and actively participating, went all the way to Pakistan, casted vote, volunteered as the poling agent, for the first time of my life and then seeing how my own people in uniform were the one to crush us, our struggle, out hopes- more than anger it was such a level of disappointment that for the sake of my own mental health, I needed a break from anything. But here I am back again, seeing that not much has changes and we are still trying to get freedom from our own people in uniform.
An amazing analysis. Yes, it is the feudals and establishment that stand in the way of social and economic justice. Teach, teach, teach your children, Once they learn, they will stand up for their rights. Western democracy strives on the educated general public. This is what Imran Khan learned at Cambridge, and this is what Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto learned at Stanford. This is what we learned at American universities.
Insaf is an Arabic word, which means Equity. Somehow the word Adl, which mean Justice, has been crossed with insaf in Urdu. Essence of Equity is more aligned with PTI. Points to note are Adl is usually needed after a mischief or misunderstanding while Insaf is the basis of a society.

Mooed, I deeply admire your resilience, along with that of many others, who continue to stand with Imran Khan despite the sacrifices endured for our nation, even within their own families. It’s undeniable that none of us can match Imran Khan’s steadfastness. May Allah reward him, as well as you and others fighting against this corrupt system. However, I can’t help but feel a sense of sorrow for all of you, as our nation seems unprepared for a revolution, still resigned to being slaves of the system, having lost hope for any meaningful change in their lives. Pti is far ahead from ppp in this regard. The resistance in the judiciary under chaudri nizam din is also the fruit of Lawers movement . Awareness is a continuous process as,you told about French revolution. Pti has successfully brought Awareness in the 70-80 % people of Pakistan in the country & in the powerful patriotic diaspora. No one can stop this process ,ultimately the people will win & we all will make Pakistan a welfare state inshallah. Most people think that this struggle will end if khan is killed KHUDA NAKHWSTA but khan has trained 100 s of khans who are capable to carry his legacy. If khan die unnaturally that will be day of a revolution like irani or French. No way far chaudri nizam din to escape. If they release him he will lead this revolution or if they kill him K.N.K the people will throw them under the courageous educated youth Brothers & sisters leadership. During the elections, Punjab's people has proved that they are standing with PTI and Imran Khan.
Military Gens have continuously been clinging to the political system of the country since the fall of Dacca and even before it. What might be the reason which has made them so obstinate or unbending that they refuse any change in the power Politics needed for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan. They never shy away to commit all kind of atrocity or brutality upon their own people.
It looks as though something of national interest, which guaranteed the defense and stability of Pakistan, has been sold out or surrendered to the West. This can be only reason that Chaudhry Nizam doesn’t come to accept any change in the political system of the state and thus resorted to throttle each voice and kill every one raised against him.
TRUTH is bound to come out in the end, no matter how hard Chaudhry Nizam & Qazi Fayyeez Essa try to hide or stop it. The deception and cock & bull story they are splashing around will prove to be just a temporary delay to the inevitable. 🤷♂️

What i have understood after all this, is that at time of Bhutto, the social media was not strong therefore people have forgotten after a while but now because we have strong media and everything is recorded and documented, people will remember for ever plus Imran khan's era also showed us the true reality and now everyone know which side is standing with humanity and which side is evil. Now its up to people of Pakistan which side they choose. IK has already won the battle he started. I am glad your analysis will lead young generation to think. Important lesson I learned is that without Rule of Law, no country/civilization can survive.

Moeed you are trying to remind & educate old , not so old , young & very young intelligent generation of Pakistan . I personally appreciate your approach and one thinks what else people like you can do . I was among the students who lifted ZA Bhutto when he came out from Lahore jail to take public along with him ;and I was among the people who when Imran in 1996 came to London with Hamid Gull to introduce his PTI thus enabling me to formally take its membership. Both became leaders and people believed them and many may still believe them realising that individuals will do mistakes in life results of which has brought Pakistan to this stage .My problem is as to how does one teach young generation that honesty & hard work pays in the end if you truly believe in the teachings of Islam .
Young generation cannot find jobs and when they find one which helps them to feed themselves and their families. There is no rule to protect whistleblower in spite of decisions of court to not accept illegal orders. I know even in western word there is no protection but orders of corrupt rulers are difficult to dis obey. This has carried on in All Pakistani institutions. How do you teach & tell young military or civil interns RULE OF LAW when their chiefs are selected by corrupt politicians rather than by the seniors in their organisations ( be they local cops commanders or others ). This type of corruption has seeped in so much that systems in every sector or section of society has been destroyed in the last 60 years more especially in the last 40 years . Please Moeed carry on
your efforts. May Allah save Pakistan .

Dr Moeed sensitized an important issue of national politics or social justice which our youth must know. To me probably, powers centers are still unwilling to allow political concept of "Free will/ Democratic Ethos" (as enshrined in the philosophy of politics) for future Pakistani generations.
It may only change by the people thru resolute and consistent political struggle.
