Yes...a brilliant scientist, one of the few people in the world that can advocate for animals, and reveal the perils of animal abuse...and the globe MAY listen.
Please remember that even though this originated in China, Zoonotic viruses have originated in other areas of the world, including the USA. It’s possible that this can happen anywhere there are lots of animal trapped together, including the factory farms where grocery store meat comes from.
Still, I have to agree.., China must end wet markets. It is damn cruel. I saw a video of them grabbing an animal by the scruff of the neck, and just butchering it into pieces, live, fur and all
Pien Pakvis Oh it’s all terrible, but we have to look at the bigger picture and these things happen all over the world, not just in Asia. Watch some videos that were taken in slaughterhouses. They are all the same unfortunately and the majority of people have no idea how the meat they eat gets from the factory farm to their plate. Did you know that they grind up live male chicks right after they hatch because they are of no use? They also cut off chickens beaks because they are all packed together and will pack each other if they don’t? In order for there to be enough meat available for everyone that wants to eat it, those animals have to be jam packed together because there would never be enough space for them all if they didn’t. It’s all very appalling. I know everyone in the west likes to think that we are better than them because we don’t eat a lot of the stuff they eat in Asia, but unfortunately there are quite a few similarities when it comes to how animals are treated and how viruses get spread. It’s something the whole world needs to look at from this and hopefully that can be one positive thing to come from all of this.

Jane Goodall was my inspiration as a young man (now 62) to become a primatologist. Studied the great apes and both physical and cultural anthropology for many years. Unfortunately, my life went in another direction (still positive tho!), but I still look to Jane and all her wisdom. Also recently became a vegan which is working very well for me. Love to all ❤️

Jane Goodall was my inspiration as a young man (now 62) to become a primatologist. Studied the great apes and both physical and cultural anthropology for many years. Unfortunately, my life went in another direction (still positive tho!), but I still look to Jane and all her wisdom. Also recently became a vegan which is working very well for me. Love to all ❤️

I love & admire her very much. She hit the nail on head with the Chinese wet markets & big game hunting. Leave the animals alone to live in their own habitats, like Mother Nature intended!!!
