Perfect video guys. Im working on a gym right now that is going to be 40x45. Couple questions i have for you. Does those 3 or 4 AC wall units work well for ya in the summer time? Lighting, lighting i am worried about? What lights do you recommend? If you have a email that you wouldnt mind sharing with me that would be great. GREAT VIDEO -Reg-
It stays cool inside the facility in northern indiana without much ac. We could have EASILY gotten by with 2 units. We thought we would use as heat much of the year also but the LP heater is just more efficient. Lighting, we used 6 led style hanging hard wired lights. Our electrician bought off amazon. We could have got by with 4 and avoided the area right above the hoop. It is pretty light in there. We have a friend who did cans (many) and it isnt enough. Email is in the details of the vid if you want to reach out.
It is 16' with scissors style trusses. At the peak, it might be 20'? Not sure exactly. Walls are 16' though. I would do 18' if doing a flat roof style truss.
I have another video on the full cost breakdown but without land it was AROUND 120k ish. That DOESNT include any contracting fee. I did that myself. I would guess 150k in my area would be what I would pay if built for me. Every area of country will be different of course.
Missing the floor the most crucial part to make it a legit indoor court , also you did great but why not put the hoop in the center with a even reveal to you court space so both 3 point wings have room and your not running into the wall on accident, other that that you killed it I know it’s way harder than it seems, great job ! ❤
Hoop in the center would take up more space. We are only about 2' off the wall. Would stick out way more and we would have less room behind the 3 point line if we used another style. This wall mount hoop is the best way to max the space. Our land only allowed for a barn that was 32' wide max. We had to cut something to utilize the space we had. We do run into the wall on occasion. It does stink. Wish we could have afforded two lots and gone much bigger but I we didnt have more cash to dump into this project. The floor was tough for us. As long as you keep the humidity down, this floor is nice. A real wood court floor would have cost us well over 50k. Just tough to justify that knowing my heavy use will only be as a court for about 10 more years. The crete will allow for options down the road.
Yes it is flat imo. Genesis 1 proves all science is a lie! Light doesnt come only from the sun. So many issues biblically with a curved ball shape that is hurling around. Makes no sense.

Great video! Curious - what's the ceiling height?

Nice! Total cost?

I meant 3 point corners

You built a second barn right next to it? Why not just make one barn that is wider?
@@BoxleyAcres that’s my cousins. The building was done at the same time but I don’t own both.
Earth is Flat ✅. Job 38:14 (KJV) It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.
