This is so awesome, people have already said sound dampening clothes, but you could also build maybe a small booth to record in as another option to throw out there.
Zach you are so Type A and I love it. Good for you, man! Can't wait to see the new studio. Thanks for all your tennis content! Would love to see you featured in a match on TennisTroll or something comparable!
Been watching you since 3k viewers and even then I knew you’d take over the footwear space. Happy to see you evolving and probably the best reviewer on UA-cam! Excited for the next chapter for you Zach
Your dedication to making good quality content in addidtion to being prestigious foot doctor is UNMATCHED, you deserves millions of subscribers and views in my opinion. Congratulations on your new lab and I greatly look forward to your Wade All City 12 Encore review.
Appreciate your effort in this project Zach, it actually looks like you're having fun. I can tell the space will just keep getting better. Your passion continues to find ways of shining through. Thanks a million.
Congratulations on moving doc! Really happy for you and thank you for your dedication on the channel. I hope and pray things will get easier and better for you soon! Really excited for the AC 12 encore.
That's great dedication doc. I enjot watching your videos and this type of ways in improving the channel will make me support it more. Appreciate you doc 🎉
Zach, that's something! The enthusiasm. The amount of work, plus most of it alone...I can totally see myself moving heavy things alone...glad I'm not alone :-) Good luck!
Congrats Zach! Been a long time follower, and really love your take and expertise on everything sneakers. I have been long thinking about expanding my training business into the online platform, so it is very inspiring to see you make constant progressions in spite of splitting time between pretty much 2 jobs and passions much like myself. Thank you for the insight, as always, and best of luck moving forward!
Hey Zach, have you ever think about testing the durability of the foam? I heard some foam like lightstrike and fuelcell bottom out quickly. Maybe you could get a cyclic compression machine.
One of, if not the greatest, shoe reviewer on YT. I salute your dedication FDZ. I hope this channel keeps growing and the videos keep rolling. You the man!!
I made a video today so quickly and that was with me losing my ball bearing and having to mess around with light flicker so once I get things dialed in it should be rapid fire - hopefully
You could try (depends on whats allowed) try secure a net curtain from the ceiling, would also be able to cut a small section for a camera lens to be able to see through
The storage space is awesome. I play on a small deck of a ship almost similar size to what you have and we can play 3x3 at most. I think you can reposition the hoop to accommodate that. It's a nice concept 👍
Man, witnessing the growth of your channel is amazing bro. Muchly earned. I don’t believe in people deserve anything, but earning the views thru your hard work, editing, and knowledge is awesome. Remarkable achievement man. Can’t wait for future content! And let us know how those lessons go for ya!
Not sure if this is already been referenced but consider making a dress frame that can be used to sit in front of the wall. You can use cheap timber or chip board and buy cheap carpet or foam roll from a hard ware stall and tack it to the back with a staple gun. Obviously if your budget allows for both that's great. You could then use this to attach items to dress the area. I don't know if you can do too much about reverb given the space looks like it's aluminium and the height of the ceiling. It will probably still sound "tinny" but maybe the frames can dampen the sound reverberation. Best of luck and awesome to see you got you're own space!
Congrats on the new studio. I’ve played in bands where we used moving blankets. They work great and are inexpensive. Maybe put some Jordan or sport tapestry over them. Best wishes Gordo. 👍
You can take a carpet and put it on the door. It will help with echo and also shouldn't be super expensive. As a bonus, you might get slightly better heat/cold protection and a background
Watch a couple of your new reviews, and strangely one was more echo than the other (Curry is less). Have you thought about a movable wall or perhaps a shoji screen behind the camera. If you reduce the bounce for where you are speaking too, then there should be less echo? Just a thought. Love your videos. Keep it up.
When my buddy was building his recording studio inside his garage, one of the things he did for sound dampening was to hang heavy blankets in strategic locations and it helped a lot. You might be able to carpet your rollup door as well since it runs along the ceiling instead of spooling when it's opened. Great studio!
you have been the most consistent channel that i follow besides Mat Armstrong....but definitely one of my favorites...keep going strong ! congrats and the new studio...rented or bought? I bought a garage like this back in Europe, but ended up selling it after a year since I did not make any use of it and renting wasn't an option.....if i were to live near you I would have helped a hand for sure...seems like you needed it...why dont you use that sticky stuff to hang up foam sound pads? i mean its lighter than a shoe
Thank you - I'm just renting, to buy in my area is so expensive its kinda prohibitive for the space I need It doesn't stick to the light foam like other more solid objects
@@FootDoctorZach yeah even as a buyer i had the same issue that i could drill in the walls which i thought was weird...Would be nice if they had concrete walls. What about building a large wooden frame structure within? i know cost wise you want to keep it low. A garage unit like in my country would go for about 500 USD a month.
Wassup doc congrats on the new studio!! Wanted to suggest some shoes to test… that being the Li Ning Jei’ Ao, Hesi low V2, Li Ning liren v4 & assassin’s.
Congratulations on your new recording studio, especially because you did everything with your own hands. Success, I'm your fan and I really like your reviews. Hugs, health and peace.
Hey Zach! Saw the Kobe 4 Protro Gold Medal a couple of time in this video and would love to know your thoughts on them. I recently bought a pair myself and after playing in them for the first time I experienced shin splints.
I have reason to believe mine are fake - I have them being evaluated if theres just a factory defect or not- not going to do a review on them until I get confirmation
Yeah I’d go with them if I didn’t have cameras everywhere- need it to still look somewhat aesthetic - I have an idea illl be implementing next week but it may be a complete flop we’ll see
Maybe something like those movable panels the Beatles used at Abbey Road put them on wheels a few around the table for the reviews then move them wherever when you need to use a different space.
They really do seem to work. Early Dylan is another guy who recorded in a large cavernous room but you would never know it listening to the recordings. Good luck!
Congratulations on the new set. I feel like you still need a bigger studio. No AC by the looks it's a glorified storage unit. You might be sweating a lot on hot temperatures.
Lol, I have 3 daughters and am married. The fact you held onto that much real estate in the house for this long is pretty impressive. I'm lucky I am given some desk space for WFH days!
FREE Shoelace guide: geni.us/freeshoelaceguide
I wear a size 11 can I get some extra tennis shoes😊😊😊
It doesn't work for me 😢
If you get cloth sound dampeners you can hang them up without nails and they work pretty well. And you don’t need too many of them either.
Was thinking the same, but thinking using 2 portable studio backdrop stands and draping it across them creating a canopy over the desk filming area
@@steveorrTHIS!!
This is so awesome, people have already said sound dampening clothes, but you could also build maybe a small booth to record in as another option to throw out there.
Me after working 44hrs/week: "omg am so tired"
FDZ after working 80hrs/week: "time to build a laboratory"
Haha yeah I may have a problem
Super excited for the new vids Zach is going to make in this studio
Zach you are so Type A and I love it. Good for you, man! Can't wait to see the new studio. Thanks for all your tennis content! Would love to see you featured in a match on TennisTroll or something comparable!

was watching this channel since 30k subs. You absolutely deserve the improvement doc! keep up the vids we appreciate you!
Thanks for sticking around
This is so cool. Your passion and love for performance footwear is damn near unmatched. So excited to see the reviews being pumped out from here.
love to see u taking the channel to that next level doc. ur rlly the leader in this as a aau player i love the more science based reviews.
That's great dedication doc. I enjot watching your videos and this type of ways in improving the channel will make me support it more. Appreciate you doc 🎉
Your channel is legit 🙏. I'm not huge sneaker-head but I do respect the game (when they're not ridiculous overpriced, cheaply made, or both lol)
Zach, that's something! The enthusiasm. The amount of work, plus most of it alone...I can totally see myself moving heavy things alone...glad I'm not alone :-) Good luck!
Appreciate the effort you put into these videos doc! Truly a league above other reviewers - excited for the future of reviews on this channel
Congrats on setting up the new space! Can't wait to see your breakdown and analysis of the AG4 SOAR SE - those things look awesome.
Zach you are a freaking beast, and I love how much work you put into this channel. It does not go unnoticed or unappreciated!

Is that your pops? Crushing it with the NB FreshFather 2.0. He’s got sauce 😂
Zach is the best in the sneaker space, and now he has the best sneaker space. 🔥
Tremendous news, you are taking your shoe reviews to another level I didn’t think was possible. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and hard work!
One of the best UA-camrs out rn fr
Great work Zach! Really impressive!
Congrats buddy. WOW very impressive.
You put a lot of thought into it.
Thank you for all the videos.
This is sick. Thank you for your dedication
Congrats Zach! Looks amazing. Please do a review of the NB Hesi Low v2 !
that's a lot of work. great job! more power!
ceiling and wall curtains for sound dampening? not sure how effective it is though.
awesome ! that's some serious shoe lab
Congrats!!! Looking forward to those new reviews!
Congratulaciones for your new space, look cool 🎉 Im happy for you. Grettings from México
Wow u have them REEBOK RODDICK what a throwback/! 13:42
Can you review the ac 12s encore?
Docs new playground is amazing! Congratulations Doc!
This is a very cool space. I look forward to seeing the new vids in this location.
Congrats on the new space!
Love it! Great work Doc

Keep up the good work like the contract. You keep it real I like that 👍
Dude, only congrats for this channel.
You’re killing it Zach
I am happy for you, wish you all the best in your next chapter there at your new lab!
congrats, you are the man. literally revolutionized the shoe review game

Hopefully it pays off🤞

Try huge curtains for sound dampening, you can even try to extend the garage door rails as an extension.
Best of luck! I would hit the ceiling everytime I shoot, but if it' works for you then it's fine!

I like this idea the best- maybe some lighter felt material and yeah I’d get some insulation out of it
look forward to the new videos from the lab!

Dr Zach you're the best!
The channel that's worth subscribing.
All city 12 encore 🙏🏻
okay but when you cut a shoe you really like do you just buy another pair or do you buy 2 pairs before you cut one?
Just one pair
Foot Doctor Zach 2.0!🎉
Is the ceiling too low for deeper shots? Or does it not matter for your purposes?
Yeah but also real deep shots arent a huge deal for shoe reviewing - i can shoot jumpers close and far and the shoes perform the same
@@FootDoctorZachThe new lab is money!all you’re missing is a 70” TV and a fully stocked bar
Thats awesome for you and the channels 💪

Yeah I think treating the door is the way to go at this point
Congrats… looks great !
Very cool! Any feedback from the warehouse about playing tennis/basketball on premises?
Nope. They are having me on their podcast to talk about it though so I’m guessing they are ok with it haha

It would look even better with a vintage green locker
Congratulations on your new recording studio, especially because you did everything with your own hands. Success, I'm your fan and I really like your reviews. Hugs, health and peace.
I appreciate you
Saw you wearing the power cushion ad accel in the video. Any thoughts on that shoe for tennis and pickleball? Hope the video is up soon!

Could you give us more information about the materials you used for the basketball court you built? I'm curious about the specific brands and product

Perfect size for badminton 😁
The tennis Wall is more to the right, it seems. Switch the storage and the desk area and you will gain some space.
The garage door is off to the right too that’s why it’s like that
