Full Time-Lapse Build with Timber Frame Porch (Future Home Gym and Indoor Basketball Court)

- This full time-lapse build was late winter on an existing building site. The old building was torn down (hence the weirdly shaped concrete pad inside our walls) and we nearly doubled it's size. Will be a future storage building, home gym, and indoor basketball court!
The new building is a 48'x80'x16' tall structure with a raised bottom chord scissor truss for even more height (indoor basketball). There is a 16' wide timber frame porch on the front and multiple overhead doors in the back. Being close to the home, the client wanted to make the building look as residential as possible.
We also installed a Versetta Stone wainscot on the front side facing the home to add even more appeal and break up the commercial steel feel. Let me know in the comments down below if we accomplished our goals? Would you put this in your back yard, or is it too big?
****Disclaimer, we do not perform concrete work, or ceiling insulation. Both will be done at later date by others hence the lack of footage.

Nothing beats working in the cold. The cold keeps you moving and the moving keeps you warm.
Ahhhhhh, I remember those days growing up in Minnesota. Ice rink on every lake and pond. Heck, you could flood the back yard and skate from dawn untill dusk, or whenever your mom called you in for lunch and/or dinner. Good times
Minnesota ✊🏾
Dude, that black stone on the front....AMAZING.
It looks good but it also kinda has the fake look too.
What is it
Versa stone. $18 a square foot. It’s just concrete that’s poured in a mold and stained/dyed. Amazing stuff and super easy to install. But it’s expensive as shit for what it is.
The timber framing is going to be a great value added for your clients, congratulations!
That’s super cool I love the fast forward.
With Ryan's ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxy_pn55PK60wAV3X_C_RoLS_67mNonoCE plan I was like one taken by the hand and led step by step from start to finish. Thank you very much Ryan!
Quality work. That is why they always get work. They don't cut corners and it shows 👍
I totally love watching your videos! The time lapse ones show how it progresses day to day without waiting day to day! Watching the day to day videos give the details. I'm impressed with your work!
THESE FELLAS ARE DAMMMMMMM GOOD YOU CAN TELL TH4M HAVE FUN AND TAKE PRIDE IN THERE WORK ....WELL DONE
I have a full NBA regulation portable back board system I got out of a college. I want to build a indoor court now.

Oddly satisfying at 2x speed. Great job!
Enjoyable as always. It's a lucky guy that can have you build him a building, thanks for sharing.
Day 14 the boys went on vacation lol but the boss held it down. Great work boys!
Yeah buddy
The difference in building methods is fascinating to me . Would be funny o work with you for o e complete job just to learn your method of building. As always nice work guys.
I used to be a pole building specialist as a Forman, and this guy is really good at what he does, I really admire the work. Good job
I think this is your best time lapse to date.
Thanks a lot. Feel free to share to your friends
I cant believe you did all that in 11 minutes amazing!!
For every house/barn/garage they should put a cost list and break everything down. So if someone wants something similar they know about whats its gonna run them.
I'd love to build something like this someday. Even adding a reply about the final cost would be so helpful
a lot of builders, not saying RR is, are uptight on pricing. The shady ones keep it secret so they can jack up the price for unsuspecting or easy customers. Even honest ones always give you a custom quote because of different material choices, time frame, complexity, location, permits, and the last thing they need is someone say "I saw this video of another company build this for 100k, why are you charging me 150k"
There are rough online build calculators if youre so inclined
It depends on too many factors
You & your crew are Craftsman, your interaction & workflow as a crew are to be commended
I could watch these for days!
I hope I find some builders with half your talent when I build in Oklahoma next spring!!! Wow you guys are awesome
One more masterpiece by RR.
Keep up the great videos.
You just taking any project you get to do some timber frame on. looks amazeballs.
Haha thanks
What quality craftsmanship... Very Nice
Братишка, твои видео я смотрю на скорости 0,5. Просто другая вселенная. Спасибо бро!
Its amazing how a few bolts can hold a whole house!

I'd forgotten how nice that interior looks. Definitely a show project. Good work.
Would be great if you would also show the finished product. Would love to see the inside of these. Great work!
Amazing work Kyle and Greg!
Always nice to see a project come together.
Nice building! But what really impressed me is that crain attachment for the skid steer. That is freaking sweet!
Wow. Well done.. unbelievable that took 2 weeks to build
23 people are jealous you didn’t build this for them. 🤭 Such a fantastic build.🤘🏻

You and your guys work is on point. If I ever get the chance to build my dream shop/garage, be prepared to come to CA! Love your workmanship! 👌🏾🤙🏾
Great viewing on a very windy, wet day, here in Scotland. If it was not for Covid-19, would have been in apartment in LIC.
That was amazing!! Such a great video...thanks!
Dude, your work is sweeeeeett!
A truly fine product you put out there sir.
Dang that's nice. And fast. Great build.
as always Kyle, BEAUTIFUL WORK!
Beautiful building, not sure if I like the wood paneling on the inside but to each their own. Really like the trim boxes you did on the inside of the windows though, love the channel keep up the good work.
The plywood is great for mounting stuff, you don't have to worry about studs.
Have no idea how you get so much done....wow
The amount of work you do in such a tight time scale is amazing and still top quality at the end. 👍🏻
Awesome - I'm thinking eleven- twelve days for a whole squad to tools up. No, that is not too shabby at all. it was cold, nobody wants to chit chat, do the day, stay warm ; great work ethic!
Awesome work guys
One word description “WOW”, great job as usual 👍👍👍👍
20x44 shed had shingles. Ripped off, underpayment down, 2x4 strips, and put up tin! Looks great thanks for your help! Was going to half ass it and well, just couldn’t after watching you and your crew work. Thanks.
Wow!!! Go Ahead and build a new wood things .
Looks great. I wish you could build that in California.
Yeah, that would blow over in a year here in Nevada, 110 mph, 2x a year where I live.
You could! Then when the quakes come...
So satisfying to watch, keep it up bro
Outstanding!!
That video was badass! Pretty sure that's his homestead there...nice addition

Great Finishing and color combination in Cool environment
I was thinking man it was hot today then i see the video and u guys working out in the winter and im sure glad it is hot lol
You got to like that!!!!
that was very cool time lapse build
Did miss the attic/roof/ceiling insulation????
Great job. Post framing deserves 5 videos at least
wow just wow, true craftsman!!
Dude this is badass, I need one
Was the roof not insulated or did I miss that bit to time-lapse? Also, were the chains installed in the beginning to square the building up?
Wondering the same thing, what’s the point of insulating your walls if all the heats goes straight out the roof
They have it blown-in after the fact.
Loved the video guys and the stone work was brilliant
I like the footing with screw down brackets for posts rather than sonoc tube style. Has to be better for vermin/pest control.
Dang man! Great work per usual
Thought You'd end by hanging your sign in the gable ! Great job !
Good call... still haven’t
Great video
Great work and excellent quality
Awesome work Kyle! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
This was oddly satisfying to watch! Beautiful building, I wish I had it !! Thanks!
I like all you video RR Buildings
What a dream!!!
Steel is the way to go
Adding shutters makes for Great curb appeal!
Damn I love that building
Очень круто👍👍👍восхищаюсь вами. И особенно приятно когда рассказываете про инструмент которым пользуетесь
This is my version of the old MTV Cribs show. So jealous and I want an RR Buildings pole barn!!
You can only do that with a good crew that works together, nice job
Realy nice Video 😁😁 i Love it!
As always you guys knock them out of the park!! Love the time lapse
Serious question; what was done to prevent interior roof panel condensation?
Beautiful shop
Wonderful video as usual. Keep up the good work.
Great job 👏🏽 I just left it like 👍🏽
Nice Work !
It’s def too big. One day I’ll have a very large barn like this, but it’ll be much shorter like 12 foot ceiling just to hold equipment. This has given me some insight as to how it would possibly go down.
Amazing work!
Thank you
Nice shed, just amazed at all the time to insulate the walls yet ceiling is just bare metal.....
I’m always amazed at the people who don’t read descriptions... lol
outright amazing!!!
You guys do some cleannnnnnnnn work
great works and Love it
