    I'd absolutely love to buy a decked product. The quality is unmatched. However, I'm a tonneau cover guy + contractor. I need to be able to throw in some equipment such as an air compressor, ladder, or generator. I love the fact that these items can be covered and locked under a tonneau cover. Also I like to be able to throw groceries or luggage bags when going on a trip... And nobody likes the look of the camper shells our dad's used. The decked drawer just about eliminates the ability to use your bed and close a tonneau cover, 6 to 8 inches of bed clearance is a joke.. Is there any plans to build an ultra low profile drawer system? I'd love that! The drawers need to only be deep enough for lay down items flat such as drills extension cords jumper cables wd-40 so less than 6 to 8 inches of total height. That way you leave at the very least enough bed depth to haul standard carry on luggage while still securing and waterproofing with a tonneau cover. That would sell like crazy! I'm one of thousands that have been waiting for you guys to figure this out.

    I have the "old" Decked drawers mounted to my Ford Ranger (2019) and I love them. Zero complaints. Will you still produce this "old" system with two sliders for mid size trucks in the future or will you dump these?

      We'll have them in stock while supplies last. We'll service replacement parts and warranties for the foreseeable future as well!

    Does this new system require any drilling into the truck bed for installation in a 3rd gen Tacoma? Some videos and marketing suggest no, but others explicitly state it does require drilling into the bed.

      Do you have factory tie down loops in all corners of your bed? If so, no drilling. If not, you'll need to drill 2 holes per tie down loop, as these are what we use to secure the System to your bed!

    My advice as a builder is to expand your product line.. love that it’s made in USA 🇺🇸. Add more options.
    - make the drawers Full extension
    - make the whole unit to the top of the sides , taller , deeper and with a waterproof top.
    - maybe one side drawer is wider and add two shallow drawers on the other side
    - able to hold a chopsaw and table saw in the drawer
    - two drawers on each side and leave the center open ? Or a full extension open slide in the center
    Also, the deep wells in each corner are very difficult to access.

      We've addressed almost all of these points in our new Systems!

    I was wondering if you have a video of the gladiator 2.0 with the cargo glide.

    Can you access the space in the front and back of the wheel wells?

    • @Decked
      @Decked  Рік тому +1

      Yes! The new Passthroughs allow for access to the front and back of wheel wells!

    Did we lose the built in bottle opener? Lol, it's a feature i like on the "legacy" I have.

      We did get rid of it for now. We're working on some bottle opening accessories!

    Mine came with a cat skeleton. Now it’s my car pool buddy. Wife rides in the drawer.

    I wished you had a draw system for a 1998 GMC 2500 8ft bed. I don't want to buy a newer truck.

      @@dadsquatch79 When you get a reliable truck and it's not a rust bucket and it starts everytime. You'll understand why I don't give it up. I love my 98 GMC 2500

      Same. I need every bit of the bed in my daily but I have a 99 Z71 that is my camping/hunting truck. I use Rubbermaid totes just fine but I’d love to have this for it

    For that price, what do you mean you can add an additional lock 🔐. Lol😅 it should already come with the lock 🔐

    • @Decked
      @Decked  11 місяців тому

      Not everybody needs locks, with locking tailgates these days! For that reason, we did not include them in every System

      The single Drawer is only for midsize trucks, just FYI. (Tacoma, Ranger, Frontier, Canyon, Colorado, and Gladiator.)

    Hey bud instead of running smoke and mirrors try running fair prices. $1600 is outrages. I get that consumers are morons that’s why you have sales

    You would think if you’re using recycled materials it would be cheaper right? That just seems to be common sense but maybe it’s just me. 😂😂😂there are so many other cheaper options out there other than this. People are just ignorant in my opinion to drop $1600 for recycled plastic that cost the company hardly nothing to make these. I would love to see your margins, the public is getting royally ripped off! 😂😂😂
