Hi I tried your pattern and I love it. But I added 4 more rolls on bottom and on top. It makes it look more squared out with even width as the sides.. Just gives it a more even look. Also I put 8 rolls on bottom and top. It makes it seem even all the way around. But love your pattern so much. I am making heart squares for a Afghan. A dear friend has had a lot of heart problems and she's so giving to people in need. So it's her time to get a loving gift. God bless you.
I made this in emerald green, very nice. Then I decided to add 2 more knit across at start and ended with 2 more rows Knut across! Came out really nice makes it a bit larger!! And matches the sides. Thanks for all you have done. I’ll send pic but can’t find your email
What a great tip at the end showing how to lay the cloths flat overnight spraying them with water.and the cloths would be so pretty in a variety of colors thank you.

Question: In order to make the heart bigger (making a 7x9 instead of a square, already added rows to the boarder sections but would like a bigger heart shape as well), can I add a knit row between rows 17 & 18 and rows 18 & 19?
it will curl if you use a stockinette stitch, thats why there is a border. You could do blocking but it may not be enough to get the curl out of your project
Ok so I started this and had to stop. Why is it that when I go from knit stitch to purl or vise versa I end up with more than 31 stitches per row? Also when going from one stitch to another I end up with like 3 stitches bound together? I'm so frustrated!! Lol!!

Dish/wash cloths?? I always wash mine(non knitted) on a 60°, is there a particular type of yarn to use for this that can take that temp wash??xx
How would we reverse the pattern so the stockinette is the heart on the RS and garter on the base for the WS?
I think, in the original pattern- the knits now become purls and the purls become knits

You can use smaller knitting needles and I use d,k yarn happy knitting 😀
