Hi. I am just 12 but I love knitting and I always watch your videos. Thanks for all the tips, your hard work and dedication for your UA-cam videos. Love you....😘
my gran recently lost her husband and my dad (her son)and has been very unwell so cant knit anymore and we watch your videos all the time and she shows me little tips and tricks and it has becomemy favourite thing and gives her so much joy to pass talents to me and keep her mind off things - makes it so simple and broke down, absolutely loveeee your videos !!!
Really appreciate this video, with the carry yarn up sides demonstration I no longer have to do so much weaving in ends that I have done in the past. I'm always happy to learn new things thank you Kristen.
Thank you so much for this video. It really helped. I’m a beginner at knitting and wanted to make something in 2 colours but didn’t know how. You cleared all my doubts.
After watching this video, a lot of you asked to also learn how to knit jogless stripes in the round on circular needles. Go check out my newest video: ua-cam.com/video/3u3nQZl5n5U/v-deo.html
I love your videos! I just started doing stripes and this video plus your video on carrying the yarn up the side made it so easy for me! Your videos are always the first place I look when I have a knitting question. You’ve taught me how to knit, purl, and now how to change yarn! Thank you!
Thank you friend!! All sorts of different things!! I've been dabbling in sewing recently as well. Just dabbling, though! I love this video, because I'm on a MASSIVE stripe and color blocking kick these days. I can't get enough!
I am too. On Presidents Day, sewing machines were on sale and I'm not working right now so I had to really restrain myself from a new machine. However, I might cave. I'm just started last weeking color striping on the diagnona a rather larger 3 color shawl. Changing colors every 10 rows. I didn't realize how much garter only of yarn took more. I need to dabble in sewing too.:)
I'm taking a class in March as Joanns on making pillow cases. I've been wanting to sew my own pillow cases for years. It's such a small thing, but I want to learn to do it.
I started knitting when I was about 8 years old and my whole life I’ve been too scared to take knitting risks! Now after knitting my first baby blanket, I want to knit a striped scarf for the first time ☺️ twelve years after I first learned and I’m challenging myself to try new things! Thank you for this video it’s so helpful!
Thank you so much! I am a beginner knitter and I just knitted a hat with stripes and I noticed that dash on the outside (k2P2) and not on the inside. I was thinking of flipping it over then realized that it wouldn't work out. Excited to try your technique on my next hat!
Very clear instruction and clean visuals - good job! I kept thinking that there was a way to avoid the "blips" on BOTH sides but I guess there is not... but I'll keep searching other videos just in case! Thanks.
I learnt how to change colour a few years ago or so I thought…I have made a mess of it trying it recently after not doing it for quite some time. I came to your video and I now know what I was doing wrong 🤦♀️ Thank you for easy to follow instructions, it’s appreciated. 💕
Super, thank you so much. It was the carrying yarns I wanted to know about for which you have given clear instructions in your video and the outcome is fabulous. Katy :-)
I Love the trick to remove the color change dash lines on the right side of the piece. Is there any way to eliminate them on the wrong side of the piece as well, so the wrong side looks as clean as the right side?
I've always changed colours the old way by cutting yarn and seeing it being done this way you showed its done SOOO simply.. Thanks for showing the new way for me 🤗🎽✂️🏆🎉🥢👩💻👕
These are all great tips. I had started knitting a Breton stripe scarf in white and navy blue, but the method I was using to carry the yarn was creating a mess along the right edge of my work. So this video popped up at just the right time. I tried the simple Tip #4, and now that edge of the scarf looks so much neater. Thanks very much!
Thank you so much! I knit off and on and every time I come back, I forgot both what carrying yarn is called and how to do it, which just means frustrated searching forever. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for this video. It really helped me to learn how to knit two colours by knitting all the row on the right side on a 2/2. But how shall we knit the second row on the wrong side ? Thank you for answering my question. Regards. Maria
Great video. This beginner appreciated the tips and clear instructions. Does the technique for carrying yarn up the side change if you are doing a purl row? Do you have that shown on video anywhere?
Thank you for the video ..it was really useful ..i already gave u a like and subscribed before even watching the video cause i felt it was going to have good tips and it was ..thank you again
Hi Kristen I’m new subscriber I’m just in the process of knitting my new baby 👶grandson a grey/blue stripe cardigan and it looks beautiful Thank you for your tips worked a treat 👍💐
Hello! I love your channel! Can you make a video to show us how to knit a gummy bear? I found the free pattern on the lion brand website but I can’t find a video anywhere! I love your channel and I think you would do a great job showing us how. Please do!! I’m having a hard time understanding the pattern!
Hi! Thank you very much for the video ! But I wonder how to have a clear change if I always skip the first knit ? Do I use the same tutorial or not .... thanks
Thank you so much! This was very helpful, continue to make these wonderful videos. May God continue to bless you and your family in Jesus’ name, have a wonderful and safe Christmas💕💕💕

I Love the trick to remove the color change dash lines on the right side of the piece. Is there any way to eliminate them on the wrong side of the piece as well, so the wrong side looks as clean as the right side?
Dr. Christine Kerxhalli, D.Min. No, that’s why they’re on the wrong side :)
