My wife had a complete meltdown when she discarded me after sixteen years for somebody else. I couldn’t understand it until I educated myself.
That is really interesting as my ex discarded me without explanation in May after about 3 years together and he had an alleged breakdown and I believe he had someone else.

My ex narc called me about a month ago after about 5 months after I walked away. I didn't recognize the # so I answered. I didn't recognize her voice and asked who it was..she sounded shocked and identified herself. My response was, "Oh. What do you want? She said her car was broken down and asked if I was in her area. I told her to call her boyfriend as she was not my problem any longer. There was a little more conversation but, at the end, she was silent and just said, "ok..." She sounded surprised. I was proud I was able to do that as, 6 months ago, I couldn't have done it.
goodjob, remember narcs wont ever change, they will keep hurting people. and no therapy doesnt work too, already showed by lots of studies a narc or borderline can have 10y of therapy and fall back in 1 day!!!

They hate abandonment, can't take it, yet they love to do it to others - I never understood that. And it's called a core wound? Like PTSD? I don't know what to call it myself, but it's really messed their head up, that I'm damn sure of, they gotta be crazy.
It's nothing like having PTSD. They have bypassed that. They have become predators. This is why they are narcissistic.

so accurate Anoushka ; in fact , because of what you said , I could anticipate the contact after so long 'no contact' .... it seemed ridiculous because they reject you and you go no contact , but they just can't leave you alone , and out of the blue , as if nothing ever happened .... they start all over again ... Anoushka , so pathetic reALLY , and ZERO INSIGHT ... and PREDICTABLE
I've learnt to forgive him so i can move on. . When I think about how he treated me like rubbish. . He makes me sick to my stomach. . I won't let anyone treat me like that ever again be strong take control say NO NO NO and just walk away.
They are selfish! Always doing everything for themselves, no matter what the consequences!

In a situation where you still have unavoidable contact.. emotional disconnection is the ultimate challenge.
THEY'RE dangerous! Uf you leave them, NEVER go back because you will be PUNISHED for rejecting them.
But if you escape in other country without support for money...are they will try to back you?

Because there was no closure and we loved this person.S.Vankin says if someone close just vanishing from our life , without closure explanation emotions bad or good emotions, its psychopath . Not narcistist. Because narcistist got " kafexis " or ...something ( I dont know if I spell it right?) Because psychopath got " flat affect"

@LucyFre I'm assuming psychopath since he came home after work one day, packed one bag and off he went. He changed his number and immediately moved in with his coworker/ next fuel source. We were married 13 years, he ghosted me and my adult daughter. Erased like we never existed

We’re not physically seeing each other but I feel him so much in my energy.. it’s crazy. My tarot cards are also saying that he still wants another chance after I let him go after busting him with cheating. He’s fucking crazy.

The narcissist that i cut off recently told me that he owned me. He told his sister the same about me. It was so disturbing for me. He has resorted to calling my sons work bc i changed my number. He calls that place of business 5-8 times a day, asking them to give me messages. He's irrational! He is in prison, and i can't imagine what it would be like if he was out. He controlled my every move. If i didn't answer his calls, he began accusing me of talking to other men. I was miserable. He involved his sister and caused her undue stress bc he told her that if i didn't go back to him, he was going to hurt himself. Of course he didn't. I dont know what he will do next, but i don't want to be in that destructive relationship. I won't talk to his sister either bc she tries to persuade me to talk to him because he is so distraught. I've been thru that too many times in the past. I've experienced everything you talk about in this video. It's a little depressing to hear that it may not be over with him. I want my life back and rely on God to give me the resolve and strength to continue moving on.

Turned up at mine Christmas crying saying he made a mistake with the supply but he won’t let her go either even though he’s miserable and she’s on alcohol and drug addiction and obsessively controlling. I was just getting stronger and he’s broken me all again

I "ended " our 5 year relationship with this alcoholic narcissist about 5 years ago. Blocked his phone number and told him to leave me in PEACE ! Guess what! He never did. Anything from emotional manipulation and orders to do this, that or the other , came in intervals of about 6 months. I've had hoover notes 📝 and pouty faces 😢 and even sarcastic remarks when I walk by him without acknowledging him,
like "I don't bite." I will not go into the extent of his drunken behavior here, but all I can say is that he makes me SICK. LITERALLY. Anyway, 4 days ago he put a Xmas card on my door saying how much he wished that I showed him CIVILITY , like I used to.
Can you believe that?
I returned his card back to his door. Now in retrospect, I wish that I had kept it and done NOTHING , that would be truly taking my power back. Oh well, lesson learned. Unfortunately we live in the same apartment building and I can't really afford to move. I may have to. I continue to ignore him.

My Girlfriend told so many lies to me and others that she didn't even know what really happened, thats when she started to manipulate and gaslight me.
And her behaviour was a mixture of charm and rage, she was constantly accusing me of beeing to perfect, to sensitive, to emotional, my apartment was to clean, looking desperatly for red flags etc, and while doing so she revealed hers to me.
I like red wine football and going to the gym a fine balance but her view was you drink to much wine, you watch to much football, you go to much to the gym everything i did was critisized. One time i forgot to open the door for her and she constantly reminds me of it months after.
I haven't seen her in a month now she totally ghosted or discarded. I invited her and her lovely 10 year old daughter to celebrate christmas with me, i made them traditional norwegian christmas dinner etc, she was ukrainian and never experienced thefull norwegian version.
Now i think she planned that she was never going to see me again after this, as she came to me high as a kite she said she took a pill and brought Vodka that she drank a lot of, she was so angry bitter and abusive to me her daughter was shocked at her behaviour. She was very jealous that her daughter and me got along so well. She got so loud and abusive towards me that someone called the police they visited us and sent a report to the child protection on her. She called me the next day to ask what the police said.
Thankfully i didn't live with her, we where planning to do so i really liked her so much but that last moment made me realize i was just a source of validation for her. I am glad i am out but its still very hurtfull.
She didn't apologise for her behaviour towards me, no accountability, no empathy, no remorse, no respect and she even tries to guilt shift this over to me. Dos Svidanja 💔
Narcissism and bpd are genetic. Its just their blueprint, adaptive.
These videos are good. As a narcissist, it gives me some hope i can catch my behaviours more often, now that i know what to look for. I'll still be an asshole im sure, but maybe less of an asshole. Hopefully, i can disrupt fewer lives than i typically do.
Or i guess if i stay the same i will use this information to improve my lies and manipulation.
