i find it pretty incredible that instructors have the time to casually look behind them when all im doing its shitting myself trying to stay upright.

I totally agree. I started this year on the track and am so lucky that the guy who organizes everything is also a good friend and instructor. And he does the exact same thing. Obviously, my skills are way worse than yours, but I really know that feeling.
+BaronVonGrumble I've had the same feeling at Ron Haslam's. you think that you're really on the rivet and going for it, only for the instructor to casually turn around with one hand on the bars whilst dragging his knee, just to check up on me.

Love the almost mirror effect of the carbon fairings in those side shots. Looks amazing bombing it down the straight and chasing the apex on the corners!
Just gotta say I still love your videos Baron. Started watching you in August last year and instantly decided I NEED to get a bike of my own. Bought an SV650S in May this year and got my license in September. Next year I'll try to get in as many track days I can afford. Keep on doing you thing!

Great Video as (almost ;-) ) always. As a somewhat new rider, who is still a bit cautious in the corners, i have a question:
How long did it take you to get comfortable enough to really lean into the corners?
I don't even mean hanging off, but just leaning in there. I only did ride one (this) season and at the end i got braver, but i see other riders leaning in way further.

You were in Portugal?! OMG I missed a great chance to meet you in person! I was there in Sept to see the track for the first time, but there was a GTR2 team doing tests with their 2 BMWs M3s. Still got to see them full force on the track!

Hello. Curious, if at a few times such as 5:10, does front actually lift off a fraction or is it strictly forks decompressing while contact remains constant with floor? Sweet how the instructor kept looking back to spot you. thanks.
