Fun fact: mono and diglycerides are soy derivatives used as preservatives in processed foods. My daughter is allergic to them. We found out because she had a reaction to peanut butter when she was around 1. So she was diagnosed with a peanut allergy. Then when she was three my dad took her fishing and she ate a whole bag of peanuts. She had zero reaction to peanuts. So then I checked the ingredients and discovered the diglicerides. Chick fil a uses them on their breading for their chicken. And they are hidden in many foods we eat today.
I literally make a nut milk and use one can of coconut milk, with vanilla and organic maple syrup. Blend together yummy!!! Best part of homemade creamers is knowing what’s in it!
Yes! She reminds me of that sassy PTA mom who’s seen and heard it all (about the teachers, the crazy eye moms and the wild kids), but still heads all the committees because she loves her kids! 😂
I made the maple glazed donut creamer and it's super yummy, however, I ended up treating the creamer (after I made it) as a sweetener added to my coffee. I may try adding less maple syrup to the creamer recipe next time. For this time, I found that if I used a small amount of this creamer, than the coffee flavor was too strong. If I added more creamer, my coffee was too sweet. Everyone's taste buds are different. I prefer my coffee less sweet and a milder coffee flavor. What I did and recommend if you're like me and prefer your coffee less sweet was make my cup of coffee as usual. Then I poured my regular half and half to my liking, then added two tablespoons of this homemade maple glazed donut creamer! This way I was able to control the amount of sugar I would like and I still get the creamy milk flavor. For you, you might add a different milk or milk substitue and maybe less of this creamer, 1 TBSP. Each person is different. I also recommend measuring out your preferred amount of this creamer into icecube trays, that way the creamer doesnt go to waste. For me,1 icecube equals 2 tbsp of creamer. Then you can add one cube (or however many cubes) to your coffee and half and half (or your preferred milk/milk sustitute). Thank you for this delicious recipe!!
YUM! That donut glaze with BUTTER. It's easy and less expensive to make your own cream using regular Vit. D, or 2% and adding a cup, of dry MILK POWDER. Makes it thick and creamy AND it's just as delicious as real cream or half and half plus more affordable. Another tip: use extracts like apple, pumpkin, butter, maple, vanilla to intensify the flavors. 🍵🍵
If you want to make the best dulce Leche, you take a can of regular sweetened condensed milk, remove paper label, and you cover entire can with water and bring to a boil and cook it for 1hr. Allow can to Cool down then open can and flip it out. It will pop out just like a can cranberry jelly does. This is how my mom made dulce de Leche her whole life. Don’t under cook it. You can overcook with no problems.
It can be done in a Crock-Pot/slow cooker, just look online for the technique's details. I suspect that there would be much less risk of the pop-top opening on it's own.
Also, for anyone who is Lactose Intolerant or sensitive, try swapping in Heavy Whipping Cream for the half and half and you should be good to go! HWC is nearly lactose free (0.5 grams of lactose per tablespoon). You can cut it with some Lactaid or Fairlife lactose free whole milk if you find the mixture is too thick with just the HWC.
Very nice receips , i give it a try , here in Europe ..this creamers are forbidden because of some chemical ingredients , so we can now make self 😊thanks very much ❤
I just love watching and learning from Nicole. She makes cooking fun. Not to mention everything I’ve tried from her recipes are amazing! Thank you Nicole. God’s blessings to you and yours 🙏 Issaquah, WA 🇺🇸
You are amazing! all those items I have in my house and here I am buying creamer. I use the oat milk creamer now not coffee mate anymore but still this is so much better and natural. I’m all about knowing what’s in my food now. Thank you so much so glad I found your channel ❤
I buy Chobani sweet cream. Four ingredients - milk, cream, cane sugar, natural flavors. Natural flavors are iffy, but at least everything else is pronounceable and I know what it is. That being said, I’m gonna try some of these. ☕️
I also use the brand! And you really don't need to put a lot in it! Also last a while & very good! I use it with( Organic Oat Milk)! That way I am in control of my sugar!! Her ingredients take a lot of sugar & I can't afford that not anymore!! Borderline diabetes . So I have to be very careful!!
I just found this channel and love Nichole's personality and the way she teaches. I'm glad I found this channel, and I can't wait to make the cinnamon brown sugar coffee creamer!
Once chilled. I bet you could whip up the caramel apple creamer and use it for a dessert. Like dipping some lady fingers in coffee and layer it with the whipped caramel cream. A different versions of a tiramisu.
I've been trying to find an alternative to the Nestle Hazelnut Creamer because of all the bad ingredients and never found one until your video. Super excited now I can switch after 10+years....thank you so much😊
Loving all of these recipes and looking forward to trying them!! I was so disappointed when Oatly stopped making their chocolate creamer. I would LOVE to see a recipe for that. Also one for Mexican Chocolate… Coffemate did a collab years ago with Abuelita for a Mexican chocolate creamer… it was amazing and also sadly discontinued.
Thank you so much for making this video. I always wanted all those delicious flavors that are on the market. But I get discussed with all the ingredients on the back so I would stay back and refrain from buying them, and just be happy with my plain half and half thank you so much for doing this recipe. I can’t tell you how much I’m going to try these and enjoy them.😊😊😊
So many yummy flavors! Nicole, thanks so much for all of the wonderful recipes! Do you know about how long these can be stored in the refrigerator? ☕️🥰
I really enjoyed the video, I was looking for a recipe that did not require the condensed milk so I really enjoyed the taste of the cinnamon brown flavored creamer I exchanged the white sugar for a raw sugar, it smelled so good and it tastes wonderful .
I think it could also mix maple syrup or coconut sugar with milk and cream, as well as extract like vanilla, almond, and peppermint. Never underestimate dry spices either.
Just made the cinnamon brown sugar and it’s fantastic. I typically drink coffee black but now & then I like something fancy. Looking forward to trying the other recipes.
I'm not really crazy about fall spices, especially in my coffee. I've been on the hunt for a homemade version of ID sweet cream. Haven't been able to nail it yet.
Finally a creamer with real ingredients! Can't wait to try these. I do wonder about storage.... or maybe cutting recipes in half as I can't make it through that much on my own. Anyone try making frozen creamer ice cubes?
One way to get the cinnamon taste without the flects of floating cinnamon is to put 1 tsp of cinnamon in the coffee grounds when you make the coffee, not in the creamer!
Thank you soooo much for doing this video. I know of no other content creator/cook/chef/wonderful person! lol that has done a video on coffee creamers! I absolutely love it! Thank you thank you! I thought the same thing. I thought I was doing myself a favor and win win, they taste amazing. However, I learned that "natural flavors" are not real ingredients. To avoid the clumps of cinnamon or nutmeg etc. mix the spices thoroughly with the sugar before adding liquid.

I've heard the pop top cans are to be avoided as they may burst. Go for the solid tops you have to cut open.
