Today I’m going to be sharing with you the easiest and most delicious beef stew, MY WAY!!! Now let me tell you just in case you dont know already, i like my food extra flavorful, just well seasoned, my beef stew is no exception, everyone that has tried it always compliments how DELICIOUS it is! MEAT SHOULD BE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE
TIP! Enjoy while how with sweet rolls! Add more beef broth for more of a soup consistency !
Ingredients:
3 lbs beef chuck roast (trimmed and cut into 1- 1 1/2 inch)
1/4 cup flour
1 tbsp dried Italian seasoning
2-2 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika or chili powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 yellow onion;chopped
3 minced garlic cloves
4-5 cups low sodium beef broth
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 bay leafs
1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
3 celery sticks
4 carrots
3 medium sized yellow Idaho potatoes
1 cup peas(optional)
Chopped fresh parsley
1 serving of love 💕

Made last night..delicious..thank you for the recipe! I did also add a little Worcestershire sause & Thyme..I didn't have frozen peas & I was afraid the canned would get mushy..so I added mushrooms instead..was so good!

Amazing recipe! I've made this a dozen times now. Little tip on the broth if you are using Campbell's or any other store bought stock, put the stock in a pot of its own add the tomato paste to it as well as carrot, onion, celery let it cook for an hour or more, strain it when adding to the stew.

I love to make Cholent which is the origin of Jewish stew which consists of stew meat like you added, carrots potatoes like you added, but we add kidney beans, lima beans and pearl barley, as well as garlic and onion and we cook ours in the oven for four hours unless you’re putting it into a crockpot and you cook it for up to eight hours and your kitchen smells like heaven and it’s definitely a good time for some stew
