Made this to take to work for the employees. Probably the best beef stew I have ever made!! Everyone raved about it and it was completely gone after lunch. Served it with rice to soak up those great juices.

I have made nd seen many types of stews bt none of them served with noodles nd the other things. I always make things different nd exclusive.

This is common in Eastern Europe to serve stews with noodles. Hungarian goulash is one example. Martha’s family are polish I’m sure that’s why she does it.

I highly recommend using about 1/2 cup of Lambrusco red wine. Riunite. Also in any pot roast. Add sliced carrots. Don't be alarmed by the bottom of your pan looking black. It is not burned. It is caramelization from the beef fat, beef, wine, carrots, onions. Be careful not to burn; wine has a high sugar content. ⚘🍷🔪🥩🍄🧅🧄🧂🌶🍷🍽🫒🍳
