I really like that they are taking risks creating more sci-fi esque weapons. They chose to go with no gore, so nothing will ever have the impact you get in games like Helldivers 2 with hard sci fi stuff blowing people to pieces to show power, so we need cool effects to make them exciting.
@@frogger2011ify Nah, it's a marketing decision, 18+ games are not a popular choice by gigantic publishers for a reason. Even devs who are famous for that often try to jump ship, just look at, I.E., Starfield.
@@AccidentalFriendlyFire Some minor blood effects, no gore at all, so it doesn't really feel any impactful if you use a size 5 ship weapon on infantry on the surface.
@@Tentacl wrong, 18+ anyways for violence and simulated death. Audience for the game has always been adults, that's the group that cig is targeting 30-50 with expendable cash.
I've only watched the first 30 seconds so far, but I love the idea. So simple in concept, combining two things that you're already doing, but somehow that turns them both on their head. Fucking genius lol.
Eyy! Tomato in the S71 fan club too?! Love the whole powerful & accurate single shot scene myself! I would just like to see a carbine version released…
The community needs to know if the SC team is operating in good faith. Are they pushing back deadlines because of legitimate blocks, or to siphon money? The mobile app marketing team is tarnishing the credibility of the dev team.
Honest question to SC content creators: Are you not tired of coping for so many years? Don't get me wrong, I like your content and such, but I lost interest with 3.14 and never looked back in terms of playing the game. I check in occasionally on content creators to see how the game has progressed, but every time I see it, it just didn't. Isn't it tiresome to talk about server meshing for the past six years, pretending it's coming, hyping it up, and then explaining why the beloved studio didn't deliver? Isn't that wearing on your psyche? I honestly wonder how you guys do it because you do not have proper content for videos. All you have is patch notes and promo footage, which is really stale and boring. Sorry for the rant. I think I'm just sick and tired of the community huffing its own gas in hopes to cope with the cutbacks that are sure to come soon.
There's a lot to enjoy about the weapons in SC but CIG needs to put a stop on all this fluff for basic functionality like it's something special. Dude going on about how "customizable" the weapons are because you can put the objectively wrong attachments on something (4x optics on a shotgun/ ACOG on a sniper mentioned specifically) just showcases how up their own asses they are and their communications would really benefit from an immediate halt to it. It just comes across as them desperately reaching for anything to say they did something and trying to gaslight the playerbase into thinking it's revolutionary. Also, "How long have you been working here?" "About 8 months". Yeah I think I see why everything's moving at a snail's pace and is constantly broken. How much of their design talent just graduated?
I believe they have very high turn over, pay poorly I've heard but because they are headquartered in the UK they have some pretty crazy NDAs supported legally like would never fly outside of the UK

They have gone with no blood? Weird, why the "blood, sweat, and tears" system they showed at CitizenCon that they said WOULD be coming to the PU?

That explosive grenade pistol makes me think of the, what, Scorpion? In Mass Effect 3? Sticky grenades!
Daniel Radcliffe and Elijah Wood getting mixed up is a meme. always credit one with the other's movie lol

20:00 some ships are supposed to deploy mines. I think the Vulcan is one of those. Or is that drones ?
Vulcan has drone sentries it can deploy

Did I miss something, or is most of this footage not recent
ISC's are usually recorded 1-3 months before publishing. so it is normal that it looks a bit outdated
Oh cool, didn't know that. Just got in to the game recently. Thanks!
No idea why they bother with this instead of adding other "_aser" type weapons.
When have lightning guns EVER been popular?
Blame star wars

They should have left guns to the Austin team. It’s obvious that they’re being designed by civilian euro-nerds.
As if civilian wheelchair-riding wannabe-cowboys would do a better job.
